Laura here goes a theory which seems to get more believable at least for me LOL
The twitter convo this afternoon just made this 'gut' feeling I have stronger. I know much was revealed if anything. But those that can 'read' between the lines can get a glimpse of what is to come within the next episode arc. Yes, I believe that the Recipe For Disaster is the last of the Vincent the <you place the words here> stage. Even though we saw 'old' Vincent in Held Hostage and Catherine saw him too it was to let us know that Vincent 1,0 was there as well as 2.0. The idea that Vincent can just forget ALL that has happened to him and all he did to Catherine will eventually come to bite him in the BUTT. The same way that Catherine now seeing that Vincent 1.0 is there in part but that Vincent 2.0 isn't going anywhere will have to rediscover and fin that which she lost...I will quote her here..
"I was unresolved not because I was angry with Vincent but because I was angry with myself.I'm suppose to be this strong independent woman who makes good judgements.
How can I fall in love with someone like that? What does that say about me?"He was different then."
"Yeah, that's what I realized tonight.I didn't fall in love with an ass."
Key points...Catherine is already beginning to question that Vincent isn't ALL bad. That Vincent 1.0 was not coming back but that 2.0 still had some of the Vincent she fell in love with within him.
Now I'll turn the tables on VincentWith the knowledge that Vincent 2.0 got about Catherine's family and the role they played out in WHAT HE'S BECOME doesn't make someone crazy it makes the <insert all words here> Vincent 1.0 didn't know the hlaf of what happened to him to become a beast in the hands of Catherine's family. Reynolds to him was the last straw.
I know he shouldn't have tried to kill him and let justice prevail BUT with the way the cards have been dealt for Vincent do you blame him? Seriously? And now knowing that his best friend JT had a BIG part in this too is so much for him to handle(but I am ahead of myself cause V doesn't know that yet)..He not only is hurt by Catherine's bullet But it went
deeper then a flesh wound..To him it was the notion that everything including what was left of his humanity cause of Catherine was shot as well. Here's where he gets his arrogant,jerky,vindictive and trust no one attitude.
These next episodes are baby steps into their recovery and discovery.
As Catherine searches for who she is and Vincent searches to get his humanity back they reconnect on another level.
Vincent will do things that will show Catherine that she' didn't fall in love with an 'ass' and Vincent will learn that he has lost the ONE person that he
truly loves and most importantly loved him for all he is..Man and Beast
Like I said this will take a few steps (Stages)
1.
Acceptance - Neither is the same anymore..And try to move on with who they have in front of them
2.
Forgiveness- I know everyone thinks that Vincent is the only one that Catherine has to forgive but Catherine too has things she needs to be forgiven for.
3.
Trust - Without trust in a relationship there isn't much holding it together.
4.
Change - Both must learn who they are and change that which they dislike about themselves and then to learn to better themselves for each ot

5. Rediscovery - Each must find themselves before they can truly try to reconnect with each other. It will be fun cause they will both be doing the same with each other.
Each noticing the things they loved about the other.
6.
realization - That both realize that 'they are meant to be' ..They will both be tested wit this..Catherine more so with Gabe in the picture cause I am sure that even though she tells him she needs space he will
still be 'happy happy joy joy Gabe around her' and she will see that she has a CHOICE other then Vincent.
Once this is all squared out..all will lead them back to each other.
Like I said..
She will get to see a new Vincent from the next few episodes as will we..
We will see his heart melt, his priorities change..He will begin to stop being a selfish bastard and begin to care for others again..She will see the changes in him and accept that Vincent 2.0 has traits of the Vincent 1.0 but he's not the same.He's much more..THEY will finally see to themselves that 'They are meant to be' and that love conquers all!
We WILL all see it!
