I will repeat myself again ...Tori isn't there to just cause havoc with VinCat..The same would be said for Gabe..Tori's role in the storyline has a purpose..As does Gabe, Do you people honestly think that Gabe will just be an 'angel' and sit back and let Vincent and Catherine be happy? Nope, Gabe's TRUE COLORS will be revealed when Catherine and Vincent reconcile. As for Tori, she is NOTHING like Alex, First and foremost, Alex and Vincent knew each other as kids, grew up together, fell in love and were going to get married. They had a history, Tori on the other hand, came into Vincent's life in a time in which HE HIMSELF doesn't know 'who he is'...Tori IS more like him cause they do share the human/beast connection..When you have a man who is searching for HIMSELF and he is LOST to himself he tends to seek out something fimilar..Since Catherine is out of his life(By his own doing and yes I know that is a fact) He falls back on the 'one' person who he thinks UNDERSTANDS him.. Something will HAPPEN that wil turn the tables on that and even though I don't know what it is..THE IMPACT will change Vincent..It will be HIS wake up call and realization THAT what he's DONE to himself and THOSE that TRULY love him is unforgivable, EVEN TO HIM. This will bring down the walls of his heart and HE WILL SEE THE LIGHT and we ALL know who that LIGHT is! He will do some major pinning cause SUGAR after all the hell he put eveyone through, SORRY and HIS BEAUTIFUL FACE isn't going to cut it. The Sad part is that the speculation we come up with lately is better than what is depicted on the show and I'm sorry but until a Vincat reconciliation we have to sit through the drama that both Gabe and Tori represent and it has been snooze worthy at best. I can say the same for Alex but I actually believe that the beasts women (if you will) obviously serve different purposes. So when they actually get around to the storytelling part of Tori significance it will be a grand day and I will be wiping away tears of joy while I secretly hope she will be killed off in the next instance. They couldn't draw this out any longer unless it was done through old school claymation. Stop move mold, take a pix, stop turn head, take a pix, stop put arms up in the air as if surrendering (thats me), take a pix. Its the duration that is painful to watch. I will be happy when they get to the point already!!!!!!!How many episodes are we into the season and its not even a good "clueless" that I feel about all the storyline or character possibilities. For all the action or movement it should be dragging faster than a high Justin Beiber in a Lamborghini. What is every story arc a miniseries? What are they going to force feed us next episode and what will stick to wall in the one after that? I think everyone can concede that there is a purpose to Gabe and Tori but all this expectation of it playing out that way on the screen has not even been warranted yet. So while agree with you that they are around for a reason. What really has happened in the last 10 episodes? This does not lend itself to creating enthusiasm. IMO They tried to remake this show this season and that they have succeeded at. Time will tell how well that has worked out. |

I come to the conclusion that the writers are GIVING us what we want. Ever here the saying "Careful what you wish for??" Well this is the case.. I will start first by saying that ONCE again I believe they went way out of line in achieving this but I believe this was the intent of the writers to set some things right. Some things many of you and me to a certain extent weren't happy with in season 1. The Alex arc and Vincent's idea that "Catherine was HIS second choice" AND the death of Evan who was in LOVE with Catherine. Any of this ring a bell? I truly believe the writers are trying to show to us, THAT Vincent AS well as Catherine have OTHER prospects and that in fact, even thought it may seem that 'others' are better suited for them that in the END Vincent will choose Catherine NOT as his second choice BUT his ONLY choice! The same applies for Catherine. Now once again that they dragged this on for 7 episode arc when in fact it could have been done in 4? That I agree totally with you all. That they had to degrade Vincent's character to a point that VINCENT lovers like me cringe when seeing him? Of course not! There intentions of 'showing' viewers that there is NO DOUBT in either of their minds that 'they are meant to be' is the storyline here. Forget beasts, forget destiny forget Gabe forget stones , necklaces that is all irrelevant to what is the OUTCOME of this storyline. Who is is and who they are SEPARATE and as a whole leads them back to each other! AMEN! The writers kept telling us that Tori was different from Alex..Why cause they put Alex in a bus and bye bye, Alex didn't and couldn't embrace what Vincent had become. SO Alex never got the chance to be a real competition for Catherine sort of speaking, So Tori is the new Alex Then we have Evan..Oh poor Even ..He loved Catherine and died for her..Weren't we upset that they killed Evan?? And didn't many think that it was a waste of character to kill Evan off? Didn't many want him back cause they thought the story could have had another outcome? I mean afterall I am sure that they wanted to build on some of the things that were successful and amend some things as well. And that is why I say it is like a remake of season 1. I think this is why they thought it would be appealing to the beasties because it would seem familiar but they are in turn lacking some key components of season 1's attraction by doing a 180 on the shows focus. It has been far from romantic and I think it was you that asked the writer that on twitter who said that was still the type of show it is yet they have not given us 1 iota of that. Change is fine but they really have to do it in a way that 1 took care of the flaws of season 1 (which they did a lot of, editing, continuity etc...) but may have at the expense of making it hard to sit through knowing the goods we got last season. its a show you need drama, I get that . You can rip them apart, I get that because we know they are endgame but the people they are choosing to make relevant instead of showing the love is tedious in the meantime. Its gonna suck to just get them back an ep or 2 before a possible series finale. Thats why it should have been a more gradual thing or he should still me memoryless. IMO That would make all this stuff a little more acceptable. |

Exactly, that IS my ISSUE with season 2..To make it 'better' for new viewers that 'changed' and 'removed' that which YOU, ME and MANY of us BEASTIES loved of season 1 to begin with. If they would have changed the show and left in the 'key' elements of season 1 that worked and wanted to improve or 'tell' with out a doubt show us about the idea that 'Vincent' as well as 'Catherine''s' love is genuine and that whether it would have been Alex or Tori for Vincent and Evan or Gabe for Catherine those two would have 'always' chosen 'each other'. Character kill and total change and NO romance is what has many looking the other way..And with the fact that a season 3 is far from happening upsets those of us who are counting the episodes left. Wondering 'if' they have enough time to give us a proper ending and fixing all this mess for that matter. As for Tori and Gabe..Gabe once he sees Catherine with Vincent ..if he isn't a beast anymore ..he's EVIL will eventually come out and he will make it impossible. Possibly even joining forces or being in the whole beast thing with Reynolds to begin with. All must come out. Cause truly my man Gabe is shady LOL Tori ..We'll know in 2 more episodes..I tell you that she 'will' be catalyst to them being together again. That is her purpose in the end..You'll see. |
