Well Beasties!!! what we gonna do? ... The last few weeks, we had try to increse the numbers and...we are stuck (safetly, but stuck). If the numbers not increase this Thursday... I think CW did not allow a second season.. I don't know what it happen.. The beasties had encourage other fans...and instead of rising,, even a little.. they stay equal.. I want to stay positive and I will do... but as the same time... realistic

What you are speaking of are numbers for repeat episode! The fact that BATB did the same as a repeat then a new airing of Cult isn't too bad....Carrie Diaries having 0.4/1 with 990,000 viewers for a new episode isn't at all good..CD went below the million viewing mark. I have faith that the action, love story and mystery of what is going on with BATB will attract more viewers....
I also want to say something I was looking back at the HIGHEST ratings the show has gotten..the 6-7 and most were when BR was on...which leads me to believe that HER fans came on board cause she was on the show and left when she did.

I know the numbers have gone down BUT we have been the 4th highest rated and viewed show the whole season! TVD, ARROW,SUPERNATURAL that's it...Nikita, TCD and CULT have always been with less viewers

Let keep encourage the people to watch live tomorrow.... and tell them to DVDring and watching w the commercials to up the ratings. something you need to keep in mind is that even if you tell people to watch, it won't count towards the official ratings you see unless they are a Nielsen family. so I'd say instead of making people watch it live on their TV you should get them to watch it on the cw website or hulu and tell them to buy episodes on itues/amazon because the cw tracks these numbers. that does actually count.

All that counts.. I Know.. any increase is good... but the ratings can not keep dropping... I encourage the people to watching LIVE and DVDRING because my understanding is the LIVE numbers are what captivate the network for now..until it's found a better way to get ratings outside of the boxes

Let me get this straight. If I watch the episodes on CW website or hulu, it counts as oppose to me just watching from my home TV or DVR? So why aren't we all doing this?

I wonder how the ratings would go if they put a fresh episode on Tuesday and Thursday! I'm curious to see which night would be higher...
I know time itself won't be the only influence, spoilers, promos etc also but I'm curious to see whether Tuesday would go in their favor..
If they are going to air an episode that was just watched...and their intention was to see whether Tuesday would be a potential time slot...you can't really expect the ratings to be high, so I hope they are taking that into consideration :/

~Miloyes it counts if you watch it there, it's just that we don't see these numbers but the cw has a tracking system - every website does - so they see exactly how many people have visited the website, what they have done there (like which pages they looked at) video views etc. it's common practice in advertising to look at these numbers weekly. and we know the cw takes these numbers into account as well, that's why I can only encourage everyone to watch all episodes online - and if it's just in the background without audio...
