EVAN!!! Hey, even Vincent ended up liking the guy in the end, even though he was always competition for Cat!
And why does Evan think Cat would want to go out with him if she knows he is a player? And does Evan realize then that he actually feels more for Cat OR was Evan's 3 month rule because he never really wanted anyone for keeps until Cat?
I do think more could have been done with Evan. I love him in the Pilot.
SNOW PATROL!! Again, another PERFECT SONG in the Pilot--Snow Patrol's "The Weight of Love"

I love JT's line to Catherine when she asks if he's heard from Vincent lately: You mean like voices?

"Creepy Warehouse" --Heeheehee
Okay, I admit, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scene, even more every time I see it.
Cat goes ALONE to the warehouse. And she must know or guess that JT won't be there and is most likely teaching class.
AND CAT GOES into the warehouse even KNOWING that JT could NOT have done it, since students verified he was teaching.
So she goes because she somehow KNOWS Vincent is there, in my opinion. Those "instincts" of hers clued in before Cat ever did.

JT is funny from the get-go. And he handles a visit by the cops perfectly, at least in front of them! Even when they are asking about Vincent and talking about DNA at a crime scene. He TOTALLY holds it together. Until he literally loses it with Vincent, ESPECIALLY when he realizes that Vincent has been TRACKING Cat for sometime since he first saved her!

And Cat was more afraid of the raccoon that jumped out of the trash bin then she was of Vincent as a full-fledged beast!
Which supports my theory (at least, to me) that Catherine instinctually somehow just automatically trusts and is interested in Vincent. And the fact that he doesn't try to flee from her either.
And again, Vincent HAD to have gone out the next day into the open and BOUGHT A NEWSPAPER JUST to find out who Catherine is. AND HE SAVES THE ARTICLE for year and year and knows JUST where it is when JT asks about Cat! So Vincent has been taking out that article and looking at Cat for years, in addition to having followed her around throughtout 9 years (although we find that out in a later episode). Vincent does NOT do that with anyone else he saves, Just his Cat.I I never thought of how he had the newspaper clipping. I just figured JT got a daily newspaper and Vincent saved it.

The STEAM coming up from multiple sources is a nice effect, but it makes you wonder at what all chemicals Vincent and JT have been exposed to over the years.
"And I didn't mention a murder, but since you brought it up. . . ." cool as a cucumber Cat. And I love that she just has this conversation with Vincent with her gun out, UNTIL she gets that call from Evan. And she trusts Vincent enough to shoulder the gun and take the call.
Oh that wig! They should have tried a little harder, poor Jay!

And Cat knows to protect Vincent from the get-go. She naturally trusts that he HAS to stay in hiding, and she directs Tess away. So Cat listens to her gut, EVEN AFTER she has found the newspaper article, WHICH I FIND INTERESTING THAT VINCENT HAS LEFT OUT, in his upstairs room now, after having moved it from the drawer downstairs.
So Vincent was AGAIN thinking about Cat, even as she comes up the stairs! So yeah, I still think it was love at first sight, although neither quite knew or accepted it yet. EACH tries to fight it, but there is initial TRUST in one another from the beginning.
I mean, Vincent doesn't tell JT that Cat came back. And if it was ANYONE else, he would have. Their safety depended on it.

"Special Agent Hernandez" who had been transferred. So FBI was hand-in-hand with Muirfield still, even after 9 years and the Muirfield mission abroad that went wrong.

I never understood why Tess had to go back to the warehouse to check on Cat. It seemed extreme.
I never liked Jay's wig or Tess's NY accent. LOL

The case in this episode wasn't all that bad. The fact that someone was poisoned from a beauty product checked out on the job.
Where they went wrong was trying to make every case give some sort of "insight" into the VinCat relationship. I mean, it was enough to have the issues of Vincent helping Cat on cases and then having to cover-up his help when people got in the way.
And ANOTHER FBI AGENT contacting Cat and then setting her up. Just HOW MANY FBI agents aided Muirfield. And since "Chandler" was on the radar for Muirfield for all those years, makes you wonder WHY BOB REYNOLDS didn't get involved much earlier.
And WHY try to Kill Cat here? Wouldn't a cop's death just attract more attention. (And that is kind of humorous where the last undercover agent has "Just Call Me Angel of the Morning" playing in her earphones before she tries to kill Cat!)

Yes, it is interesting how right from the start they both were protecting each other. Cat is so kick-ass right out of the gate!

I always assumed Tess went back to the warehouse because when seeking to search a place with a warrant, cops generally do NOT go alone, for obviousl reasons, especially if you think someone might be in the shadows. You need back-up. What Cat did was UNUSUAL for any cop serving a warrant, which tells me that she deep-down KNEW Vincent was somehow up there. She somehow DID recognize his picture, in the back of her mind, and was determined to find him.

She has no fear running after Vincent in the subway.

AND I LOVE how Vincent obviously SNEAKS Cat back into the warehouse to check her injuries. And he SAYS JT is there! So he DID have another exit into the warehouse, meaning he COULD have avoided Cat earlier OR just have jumped out a window. But he DOESN'T because he really wants to meet her, despite the risk.

AND THAT SUBWAY SCENE!!! That may just be my single favorite mini-scene ever, when it all comes together for Cat about who he is. Swoonworthy!!!
