Oh it was really not that much in my opinion, but might feel like more to KK. Her top slipped a bit too low in the beginning when Jay lifts her slightly to a better position. You can only really see it on slowmo and when you look carefully. Would have never spot that either if I hadn't heard about it. It's more because Jay pulls her arms back, which cause the nip slip. Oh and it's clearly visible at normal speed if you turn the brightness up. It makes a hot scene even hotter! Especially the way they went at it with Jay practically grinding her during that scene. So I could see why KK would be so carefully holding on to the sheet in this ep. Actually, she has the sheet just as high up around her in Insatiable as she does in 408, it's just more obvious that she's being careful with the sheet in this ep. I did forget about this. Thanks too, BeastieBoy! And thanks for the helpful viewing tips. Runs to watch again.............

I haven't seen the epi yet. But if she was too worried about the sheet it could be because she was wearing nothing.just like eva. That was actually my first thought too but then figured that would be weird as nobody would ever see anything below the blanket. I like your thinking though. I think they are both fully clothed under the blankets and that is why they have a lot of blankets to cover their bodies otherwise we could have seen some clothes lines. I've said that in another thread: they don't stay close with their bodies expecially lower parts like tgey did before... Again, IMO, was something we used to notice and relate to JayKris...

Oh stop ruining the illusion. We want them to be naked under there! LOL!

We saw a BTS pic of KK filming the opening scene of season 4 and she was wearing a sleeping gown and a blanket. If she was fully clothed she wouldn't need that gown. Actors usually wear sth like Cat wore in Insatiable. A tanktop (strapless), legginsand these covers for breasts. Which KK "forgot" in Insatiable. Haha.
Jay doesn't strike me as the shy type. I don't think he cares much.
LMAO, Beastieboy!!!

I gotta say KK's trademark laugh was the best thing about this scene. I love the fact they decided to keep it in. It's probably the most authentic thing about the scene.
By the way, I noticed the other day how sometimes you can tell by Jay's or KK's face they're just about to lose it and crack up. I already noticed a couple of these moments, just a sec long and I wonder if they end up in a gag reel.

Sorry BeastieBoy :-) In S4e1 she has cold ( someone said that) so maybe she wear that robe between takes to warm herself ( ask Jay maybe? Ahahah) Yes maybe a top and leggings and that is believable: why stay naked and don't show anything in the scene excluding your partner?

It's been a while since I last watched it. That's one of my favorite scenes in the series though. Not due to that, but that they really are invested in the scene.

I bet that ending was all jay's idea. You know kk said he always elevates the material. And this team seems to colaborate a lot between actors and director. Plus kk is a producer so she has decision.

I see somebody got a new nickname.
I don't think anybody here needs to be educated on the real people vs actors situation, I believe we are discussing an episode of a TV show and not a reality TV starring Jay and Kristin. It''s all tongue in cheek, you mighr have picked upon that.
Bettina, I think one can always rely upon Jay to deliver in this type of scene;) Right up his alley.

Honestly, I really liked this episode. It, for me, did have a certain s1 feel to in with the scene in the greenhouse and a s2 feel with the scenes at the party. I think JR and KK did great in the episode, but were outshone by AB and NL in their last scene- I felt so sorry for both JT and Tess in that scene! There may have been exposition in this episode, but it wasn't the usual "you'll lose you humanity" "get our normal back" all the time, and to be honest, I am grateful for the small bits of exposition in this case because I'm still trying to work out what is going on with Graydal.
In terms of the last scene, which seems to have created quite a discussion on here, I loved it! I'm not one of the people who will really analyse it and what it means for JR and KK's relationship (it's not our business really) but I was pleased that, for once, we got a cute, romantic, yet serious discussion at the end of an episode. Of course, it would have been great if it had lived up to HiTowers tweet, but I think it was a lot better than anything we got in season 3. The only bed scene that came close to it was at the end of Bob and Carol and Vincent and Cat- but even then, it didn't have the romantic feel that 4x08 did. Throughout the whole of 4x08, you can really tell that Catherine and Vincent love each other, and it's no different in the last scene.
I'm looking forward to the next episode, as always. Season 4 has been great, in my opinion, and I'm very sad that it is almost over.

Wow we are really reading into the bed scene lol. I think it is unlikely they'd be really nude lol haha maybe Jay without a top and Speedos haha probably boxers! Anyhow, I recall a season 1 scene and it looked to me Kristin was topless on that scene. I recall the camera showing her back and it didn't appear anything was underneath but it could've been the camera angle. If so, they pulled it off smartly. But I know Cat was slightly higher than Vincent. I haven't watched smallville for awhile but it seems the scenes Kristin does with Jay are more rancy than Tom? So I dunno if the way they film the vincat scenes are different to what Kristin is used to. Well at least we know Jay and Kristin get along well in real life. The cast talk about how he makes her laugh. And I think in interviews you can see the chemistry too, at the same time you know they are friends.

I always really liked the ending scene too. If Hitower hadn't tweeted what they did, I think more folks would have been happier. Having said that, I love the musical score that was used with the ending VinCat scene. I believe that may have been Hitower's soundtrack rather than a song picked by Dondrea. If so, gotta give 'em props for that, despite their misleading tweet.

The ending (including KK's laugh), is still my favorite part of this ep. Credit to @stoiceyez for the montage.
