In terms of the last scene, I really miss their sexy, more passionate kisses, not pecks, which is what we got. Once again, they get us excited ("it pushes the boundaries of cable t.v.) and then majorly let us down. We don't really see anything. I so miss scenes like AMP. Is it too much to ask for one more before the series finale? And why did Austin Basis say they don't like to do scenes like that anymore? I wonder why?

Alright, alright, girls, calm down here we go. Only saw it once, but I AM trying okay.
It starts with a discussion between Catherine, Tess and Heather - I am going to skip that, sorry.
Then we see Vincent at Graydal and he is fighting some of their goons in a kind of boxing rink. Taj - the trainer - is watching him together with blondie chick - Diane. Vincent is complaining why they don't trust him yet and why are they sending anybody else BUT him on missions, when he constantly is beating anybody they give him to fight. Taj says it is because he thinks that he is not over his wife yet.
Switch to DHS where there is another blondie chick - agent Dillon - who took over for last weeks boss and SHE does not trust Catherine AT ALL. She is totally sidelining her. Catherine is trying to explain how she feels, but Dillon accuses her of helping Vincent get away when they were setting him up last week.
JT is totally ramping up his computers, so he can tap into every surveillance there is. Vincent is calling him. He knocked out the goon who went on a mission for Graydal and he pours liquor over him to make it look like he was drinking. He tells JT to inform Tess where she can pick up this guy and maybe interrogate him. And he begs JT to arrange for him to meet Catherine somewhere safe.
So JT sets up this meeting place in some botanical garden in Central Park. They kiss and hug in S1 kind of desperation and anguish (swoon, swoon, swoon), but it is short-lived, because a helicopter and sirens arrive. Vincent and Catherine get out of there unseen, but barely. When Catherine asks JT what went wrong, he tells her that DHS is now also using NSA drones, but he is upping his game too to keep track of those as well.
Back at Graydal Vincent is finally getting a mission, since he disabled their top guy. He is going undercover as husband and wife with blondie chick Diane to some high society party. She does not trust him and wants him to behave more like HER husband instead of still pining after his wife. So, hence the kiss. Apparently, Vincent did not really kiss her properly, because she later reports to Taj that he kissed like a married man (yeah, good for you Vincent!) At the party their mission is to switch watches with a high society couple, because these watches let them get into their house. They get close and Vincent switches the watch 'beast-style' in blurr mode without anybody noticing.
DHS is also zooming in on the party and they discover Vincent and Diane, whom they identify as an Interpol-wanted killer. Dillon and SWAT is on the way. JT alerts Catherine - who is still side-lined - and they watch 'the kiss' on monitor. Then she also races there. Dillon is angry and suspicious as to why she is there, but Catherine tells her that she is the best one suited to take Vincent in without alerting the press. Dillon agrees and she and Catherine go inside. Vincent and Diane are mingling and Vincent sees Catherine from afar. He pulls her into an empty party tent without anybody seeing and they discuss their situation and Vincent explains about the kiss and blondie chick. Dillon in the meantime is trying to arrest Diane, but Diane is knocking her out and would have shot her if Catherine had not arrived to pull her gun on Diane. Diane recognizes her as 'the wifey'. At that moment Vincent comes from behind and pushes Catherine into the pool, so he and Diane can get away. That way, he saved his cover without hurting Catherine - she just got drenched. LOL.
Catherine is visiting agent Dillon in hospital and Dillon thanks her for saving her life and she now trusts her a bit more and puts her in charge for the time being.
Diane and Vincent use the stolen watches to break into the villa of this society couple in order to steal a flash drive. Diane does not trust Vincent so she activates the silent alarm and a security guard arrives. They knock him down and Diane wants Vincent to kill him. If he refuses she will know that he is not loyal and then she will shoot Vincent AND the guard. Vincent has no choice but to choke the guy to death. JT has alerted Catherine to the break-in and she arrives at that moment. Diane fights with Catherine, while Vincent is improvising a defibrialator with two wires and brings back the guard. During the fight Diane falls into her own knife and is dead. VinCat are having one of these discussions that might be important to them, but the timing is horrible, because the sirens are coming closer and closer and Vincent needs to get out of there - fast. Finally, Catherine says 'go blurr, I'll cover for you' and she hands him the flash drive she took off of the dead, dead Diane.
Catherine goes to DHS where Dillon has been informed about the events and she congratulates Catherine for taking out Diane and saving the guard. Catherine says that Vincent saved the guard, but Dillon is not impressed - she still wants to take him in.
Vincent brings the flash drive to Taj, who is pissed that Diane got killed. Vincent tells him that she did not trust him and THAT is what got her killed and the important thing is that they got the flash drive. He threatens to walk if they don't involve him in the operation and if they sent him 'blind' again - and he walks out.
Final scene is VinCat in some antique bed (LOL). Vincent wants to make love, but Catherine wants to talk (shut up Catherine!) They talk and then Vincent gets his way and it ends with LOVE. OFF SCREEN of course, but still beautiful. We hear Catherine kinda giggling and 'getting noisy' before the screen goes black.
I loved it.

So after watching the episode for the 1st time, I can see what you guys mean in being hard to review. I can definitely say it's getting more dramatic, actiony and complicated! I agree not my favourite episode but watchable nonetheless! Not sure what's up with the increased Heather and JT scenes lately though I like seeing them together. They compliment eachother well, Heather in her bubblyness and JT in his humor but being serious at the same time lol. I can't really see them as a couple though, despite the age difference they seem to have the bro/sis vibe going on for me. My goodness what a twist in the end! I'm still not getting that part where Vincent knocked the guy out and poured alcohol on him, well looked like alcohol lol...hence need to rewatch. The plot is getting more complicated! I know that was part of his job but then it was strange how Vincent mentions a few times in the ep this is my last job unless you give me more information and trust me. I just thought they'd be like fine, let you go then lol but I know they half explained in the episode he was valuable to them...I just dunno if it justified the reason enough. I thought that was a risky thing to say on his part, given how desperate he wanted the info! Also interesting when Vincent went to the party, the blond is like no need to worry about anyone finding you because everyone in the party has their own problems/in trouble lol or along those lines :/ I'm like huh, really? That convienent? Am I missing something here lol? Probably... But back to the biggest twist of them all, Vincent kills the security guard then brings him back to life! That was smart writing! I was sure Vincent wouldn't kill him...at least in his normal form, but when I saw the blond check his pulse I thought seriously!? I thought he'd knock the guy out. But that was a risky move! How would Vincent know he could bring him back to life? Anyway that scene was just whoa...the whole situation bananas as Cat would say! I can see what you guys mean by the end scene in terms of too much talking lol. And that kiss earlier in the epi when Cat holds back and cringes beforehand, not cool! I get that they were running out of time and needed to talk and were under pressure but still is their situation getting that ridiculous they can't even kiss properly lol! Then after Vincent said he kissed because it could be the last one...I'm like aww Anyway back to the bed scene...you know I miss the vincat scenes such as back to season 1 when they danced together. I think the writers should've set the scene more like...they have their talking scene seperately not whilst they are making out lol.

Abaout the last scene the bad fact is that they gave us hope about something AMP style and what we had is a cute scene. Ok just asking myself what J has done under the blanket to make her laugh that hard... but anyway it is cute, not sexy or racy. I've found out more sexy the firts kiss when they met in the park.
I don't love this episode, i read this as "vincent alone can do only a complete mess, he needs his friends"... but he can't be that stupid IMO. Good that he hasn't lost his humanity even if he has to do everything to gain trust.
I like Heather, a lot, she was underrated in previous seasons. Her and JT make a good pairing

Ha, ha @luna76 you might be on to something - he could totally have been tickling her feet to make her giggle like that.

Anyway... speaking about Vincent hotness... this episode win the battle for me - we thank Catherine Ashton for the return of the sleeveless hoodie while Vincent's fighting on ring... with shorts... so manly
- Vincent dressed up at the party... I don't even watch the blond (even if I'm super happy that she was killed lately... by Cat)
- Vincent homeless version in the park
- Vincent half naked n bed (and naughty boy)

Just to show you that you are not alone with BATB obssesion, I have to rewatch the episode because last night I've only found a link with a Russian translation and believe it or not I've seen it although I didn't understand a single word jiji. So I could only appreciate how hot Vincent was

The ending scene it's totally KK's laugh not Catherine . Made you wonder what actually happened after the off screen... Now, how many times intimate moments they did after the off screen ... Looks like the writers and our Vincat love to tease the beasties...

Well darn. I admit that I was looking forward to this episode in hopes of a really AMP-like scene. Still, it sounds like more is implied then we ever got in S3, so I will still enjoy what is there and IMAGINE more, once I FINALLY get to see the episode on Thursday!
I figured there would be a caper-style episode, given the necessity of going undercover. Did Vincent get a chance to have that flash drive COPIED or do we know? That thing could provide information of some bigger plot vital to Graydol, and with all JT's tech skills, you would think that Vincent wouldn't risk just handing it over without knowing more.
Obviously, Graydol is into so many types of security-like cases and assassination-style cases that it makes me wonder what Vincent hopes to gain in going on individual missions? Isn't that kind of counterproductive, since he is unlikely to be put onto anything that would be specific to his case and takes him away from the inner workings of Graydol overall. Plus, in getting his own hands dirty, it makes it hard to exonerate him once again if by the time he gets anything useful, he is the very criminal he purports not to be.
However, this is BATB, so plotholes are to be expected. They have to move along the action somehow, and it sounds like the ultimate goal of Vincent was to get the "trust" of the upper-ups at Graydol. So that mission was accomplished. We know now that Graydol is the ultimate enemy supposedly, but I still expect some other "wrench" to be thrown in the works before the end.
Still, we only have 5 episodes left to wrap it all up (by the by, I STILL CANNOT fathom that heartwrenching detail. Just can't go there yet. Or at all, really.). So a lot has to happen on both the DHS and Graydol fronts, and I assume that something IN ADDITION will come up to add an extra threat to JT and to Tess, since they have both been relatively unscathed and unthreatened thus far.
By the by, I LIKE the imagine of a DESPERATE Vincent, wanting to see his Catherine so badly. And having to use JT as a go-between, like JT commented on back in S1!

Is it too much to ask for one more before the series finale? And why did Austin Basis say they don't like to do scenes like that anymore? I wonder why? What they meant was probably pushing boundaries of CW but even CW can do better than that. Or? The thing is, even Shonda Rhimes said, actors are not interested in these kind of scenes past two seasons. You get the audience what they want in the first two seasons and you just go with whatever works for your actors from that point on. That Gillian Horvath tweet with a linked article was very insightful on the topic. Maybe it's still available. The best thing to do is to keep in mind what the writing has been like these past two seasons and draw your expectations from it. That way you won't be disappointed. Like somebody else already noted, even their kissing scenes are filmed from different angles than they used to be, illogical angles I might add, but that's what's left I guess.
