I'm watching and so far I am not loving it. If I hear "I want to move on with my life" again, I am gonna scream! Hoping the whole episode will make more sense because right now I am confused with the plot!

Informants..............what informants?? I don't understand why FBI reaches out to a "rich girl" to hide "informants"?? WTH???
Oh for heaven's sake.....Cat just said "move on with our lives" AGAIN!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now "Bootsie" is at the Gentleman's Club?? Why??
I like the Tess and Cat Duo work again.
So this story is sort of writing itself..........predictable. Still don't understand who the "baddies" are and what are they after? Are they just after "Bootsie" and nothing to do with Beasts? The FBI hack was for Bootsie? I guess the rest of the episode will expose the real reason?
So........the FBI was hacked because someone was trying to find "Bootsie" because she was helping to keep "informants/witnesses" in hiding or witness protection. They went to her because she is wealthy and she agreed because she was tired of doing the "party scene". OK. Vincent and Cat were afraid that the hackers were trying to get their info or indirectly get info on Beasts when they were trying to get info on Bootsie. So, JT was able to get into the kidnapper's computer via his IP address and deleted his file on the witnesses and anything that may have Beast info? But JT cannot get into the FBI file on Vincent because it is encrypted. And......the new FBI guy is tired of hiding Vincent's info and running the risk of getting in trouble. The FBI wants Vincent and Cat to keep things quiet and not get exposed. On top of this JT rejects Tenure, why......... because he is too much influx with Vincent still? And Heather won't pursue a relationship with Kyle or anyone yet, because things are still unsure with the "Beast Hunter" situation? Tess is still captain but still likes the detective work with Cat? Tess still wants some "normal" life? Is this right?
To me, this episode was like a filler episode. It didn't really move the story along with new info. It just showed how there are some people that risk their lives in other situations and have to go into hiding because of the dangers.
Love the Vincent and Cat cute banter but it was a bit dull tonight.
I like the first episode more than this one.
Heather had a cute dress on in tonight's episode. Vincent's scrub top was a bit snug too! Geez! Catherine's dialogue is so DRY.........except for some cute little quips to Vincent, she just annoys me............and I love Catherine! I liked the Helicopter/Vincent scene. I sure hope the storyline picks up.

Hoping the whole episode will make more sense because right now I am confused with the plot! I'm going to watch again live when it airs in my time zone to see if I like it better. After three seasons, im only expecting to find one episode per season that I think is really good but usually there's st least one scene in an episode that I want to rewatch but I don't think there was anything in this episode

alwayscrazedbatbfan For me, after S2 & S3, the bar is also set pretty low. In fact it's lying on the ground... But I still feel Cat's dialogue is too frenzied, too breathless, and basically, too much. It could easily be cut in half and still do the job. KK is STILL talking double-time with all this double-talk. (It is sort of amazing that she can learn all those words. Kind of a Beast-power...) But evidently the episode writers use Catherine to plug the holes in the plot. I know, I know Aristotle... it is what it is. If they're not trying to convince Vincent to stand down lest he be exposed, they're all trying to convince each other to stand down... etc. Hope they don't let that overshadow the actual cases they're trying to solve, like times in the past. You really can't sustain a story where "fear of exposure" is the only concern. On the other hand it sux big-time for Heather to swear off boyfriends and JT to give up tenure (although, how did that help anything?) "Now's all you got, pal..." How true, how true. At least Cat still has her blue Mustang. Nice to see some things survive from the beginning.

Definitely a filler episode, and yes repititive dialogue again. Lol. VinCat repititive dialogue doesn't bother me (doesn't mean I like it either) but I don't get too annoyed with it. Tess' repititive dialogue is annoying me. The plot of the episode as a whole, was pretty lame imo, but the VinCat scenes and interaction made up for the plot 10x over and made me love the episode. They did an amazing job with their scenes imo and that's what made this episode good. So, yes I agree more of a filler.

Heather is asking Kyle if he is a doctor. I guess either Heather needs glasses urgently or the bump on her head was more severe than we were lead to believe. Kyle is standing right in front of her wearing CLEARLY TO BE SEEN his EMT uniform WITH inscription and insignia on his chest. Duh. Even if the writer did not know what Kyle would be wearing, at least the director or at the VERY least the editor should have caught that. I know minor details and you are right: it is what it is.

So I'm probably one of the last to watch this week. I've come too far to not let myself enjoy an episode of BATB. But having said that, this episode was a disappointment. A throw back to the S1 style of cop case story line that parallels what VinCat are going through. However this ep lacked the intensity of the old S1 VinCat and the cop case wasn't great (neither were the ones in S1). In fact, I still don't know what that Bootsy story had to do with much of anything. LOL. I also felt that VinCat were on the verge of becoming the bickering VinCat of S3's Heart of the Matter. An episode which I really didn't like upon first viewing, but one that has grown on me over time. Maybe this one will grow on me too, but my initial reaction was just a ho hum, so so filler episode. The one redeeming aspect for me was the jogging scene. It seems the showmakers do try to listen to fan feedback, no flannel PJ's in this episode either. I'll have to do a re-watch and post more thoughts later.

Bill the beast - Yes, love it that Cat is still rockin the blue Mustang. Vincent still has his black Jeep from S3 in 401 too and I'll bet that JT's blue Honda Civic appears again before the season is done. The bad guys also have a thing for Maserati, first Zao was driving one in 201, now the baddie in this episode.

I don't understand why lots of people feel like it is a filler episode... for me is eveything but that!! I think it was done to prepare the background for all characters future choices. The phrase "Move on with our lives" it is obviously a refrain for this season, evryone in thei shoes would want that too... the think is (and it is better clarify by JT) they need to understand what moving on means: go back for what they were looking for 15 years ago or what happend in their life setted other bars and inspiration in them?
And the case of the week is no way similar to S1: even if that was not linked to beast hunter, it shows that for every reason Vincent's secret could be bring to light and in wrong hand that means a disaster... so the little help from DHS (that in fact leave them alone) is like a splash of fresh water in a burning forest. The only thing from S1 is that the case gave to Vincent a glympse of what could happen to him and his family if his secret will come out
