I personally find it way easier to either just tag the people who's posts you like and say what you liked about each of them, OR just quote each individual original post. Let me cast a vote for: (1) Not quoting and re-quoting and re-re-quoting THE ENTIRE PRIOR COMMENT! Some of these pages get a little long. Be a little considerate about how tedious it can be wading through pages of re-re-re-quoting a comment we've already read. Take a second and cut it down to the part you wish to comment on.(2) Dial the emoticons way, way down. They're like break-dancing: after you've seen them once they're not so entertaining again and again. But that's just me; I like to read what people actually have to say. In my defense, let me clarify a couple things: (1) I would LOVE to cut down on some of my post lengths. I just need to take a week-long seminar on how to do all this stuff. And, I'm the stereotypical middle-aged woman who is mostly computer illiterate. My kids try explaining and showing me over and over and I still don't get it. (2) Yes, there is such a thing as emoticon addiction... They can say a lot about the tone of a post much easier than words. They can help get your message across so that it is less likely to be misconstrued. Plus, they're just so darn cute! (I will refrain from inserting any here, just for you, Bill the beast, but I'm smiling and winking so you don't take my comments too seriously)

Same in the episode 2x10 in the russian consulate, V opens the safe and attacks the guy while C holding the plastic gun at him. Then he picks up the gem and blures away. You know I just realized something. Vincent has some abilities even when he is not in Beast mode. Like he can hear or see things mostly when he is tracking someone. Or even when he is kissing Catherine. Anyhow maybe the gem only keeps him from beasting out but does not affect the abilities he has? Like he can run fast without being in beast mode? Just a thought. That can explain this mystery around the gem. First of all thank you ladies chilly20 , anne42 , Nelly , kiki09 , kelly and vincat4always for responding! I knew I wasn't imagining things! I was tweeting with BATBPassion about this...I thought maybe it needs to touch his skin to make him powerless. If it's wrapped or in his pocket, he has his basic abilities. Doesn't explain "Held Hostage" and why he could not hear her but I don't think the writers had worked the gem all out yet. As for how he got the gem after the accident, I'm just gonna say he picked it up from the ambulance but cuz it was in his pocket he could blur. When JT taped it to his skin he was weak. Just a thought. I thought of the same exact thing, our theory of he could still blur makes sense but then how come in Hostages he couldn't hear Cat when she was like praying to him. That's the part that makes no sense. Plus he was like putting the gem in a towel and could still hear Cats heartbeat. I don't think they had really worked out how the gem would affect Vincent yet either in Ancestors that's why there were some holes in it with Held Hostage and in this episode as well. I guess we're gonna have to go with Nelly and Kelly's theory because that would be the only thing that makes any sense. I do wish someone would've asked them on twitter so they could've clarified it for us. I would've loved to have heard their answer. One of you had made the comment that you liked the term "blur", I wonder if that might be a nod to Smalllville. They called Clark "The Blur" in the last season of the show before officially naming him Superman in the finale.
