not sure why he said it, to me the end was a bit silly really and nothing spectacular. ok because i have just watched the episode and have so many thoughts in my mind and really not sure how i feel about this now (a bit angry at the writes maybe?) i need to go back to sleep (very late here!) and hopefully wake up in a better mood. there are some things i liked about this episode, but then some others I did NOT, especially how old Vincent is portrayed. ok i understand vincent is a guy and that nobody is perfect but based on last season what he had with alex was solid (remember all these letters?). do the writers have amnesia? to me that is a big no, no! also gabe - ok this episode they really made it clear that he has feelings for catherine, and i was so pissed at vincent that for a little while i was, you know what go for it! ok i did come back to my senses. oh and that scene with gabriella, or whatever her name was, that wa snothing special - very typical make out scene and very brief as well. it is not the scene that annoyed me it was the fact that he cheated on alex for a few weeks while they were supposedly on a break. and i say supposedly because really this is not what we were told last season, supposedly the relationship was very solid. and if it wasnt why the heck did we have to put up with the whole alex arc? oh and the beast of the week as predicted by moi and others was not a friend really, but again this beast had a personal vendetta against vinceent the second to last scene between catherine and vincent was very brief and he delivered a beautiful line and when he was delivering it i was like whatever, i am not sure i believe u when normally i would be smiling and happy... i really didn't feel it at that moment oh and the daddy is still a softy and u can't really hate him or dislike him right now ok i will sleep now adn when i wake up i will love everything about this episode.... Thanks anapi for all the tidbits............I don't know what to think. I am not getting the impression it is a "memorable" episode? Maybe there are things that if mentioned would be giving too much away. But I am not feeling real jazzed about this episode. Hopefully my opinion will change?

so much better when the whole crew are in episodes... thank god JT is back & humor is back... Zach was great, too bad Vincent killed him... the whole Vincent/gabriella make out flashback & storyline?? talk about tangent... vincat back on track find their way back to eachother... but what's up with that cheesy soap operatic music when they kissed ugh... great episode. So......Gabriella was important because Zach was seeking revenge on Vincent for being with her? After 10 years?? yes, they justified this though because zach was in hiding all this time on his own and he had lost it, so this had become his focus. so once he realised vincent was alive the only thing in his mind was revenge for gabriella, even though vincent really had not done wrong on him cause he did not knwo about them two

Hopefully my opinion will change? look, the thing is i was pissed at vincent. i am sur ewhen i rewatch this episode again being less pissed with vincent i will enjoy it much more. crazyforv mad ea good point about vincent being in a bit of a state when he joined the army. btw a thing that i liked a lot about this episode was vincent beign very protective of catherine and also the tension between gabe and vincent which is becoming apparent, that was sexy anyway, i do not think it will be a non memorable episode, but just need to forgive vincent for his kind of cheating lol

So I just read an Austin Basis Tweet begging Canadians not to spoil the ending?? WHAT THE HECK??? Could someone (Dear Canadian Beasties) please share a bit more of the episode please?? Thank you! You know, after the whole Alex debacle, .......now, to see Vincent go for it with another chick, this time scantily clad is not something I really want to see. Especially when they didn't show any of the VinCat loveboat Reunion! AND........so Vincent was on a "break" from Alex and knocked boots with another woman? Glad I know ahead of time because I may be in a Vincent bashing mood tomorrow. not sure why he said it, to me the end was a bit silly really and nothing spectacular. ok because i have just watched the episode and have so many thoughts in my mind and really not sure how i feel about this now (a bit angry at the writes maybe?) i need to go back to sleep (very late here!) and hopefully wake up in a better mood. there are some things i liked about this episode, but then some others I did NOT, especially how old Vincent is portrayed. ok i understand vincent is a guy and that nobody is perfect but based on last season what he had with alex was solid (remember all these letters?). do the writers have amnesia? to me that is a big no, no! also gabe - ok this episode they really made it clear that he has feelings for catherine, and i was so pissed at vincent that for a little while i was, you know what go for it! ok i did come back to my senses. oh and that scene with gabriella, or whatever her name was, that wa snothing special - very typical make out scene and very brief as well. it is not the scene that annoyed me it was the fact that he cheated on alex for a few weeks while they were supposedly on a break. and i say supposedly because really this is not what we were told last season, supposedly the relationship was very solid. and if it wasnt why the heck did we have to put up with the whole alex arc? oh and the beast of the week as predicted by moi and others was not a friend really, but again this beast had a personal vendetta against vinceent the second to last scene between catherine and vincent was very brief and he delivered a beautiful line and when he was delivering it i was like whatever, i am not sure i believe u when normally i would be smiling and happy... i really didn't feel it at that moment oh and the daddy is still a softy and u can't really hate him or dislike him right now ok i will sleep now adn when i wake up i will love everything about this episode.... Oh my goodness I had the same feelings while watching this episode! SO much anger towards Vincent for most of it. Especially how he was so fast to be buddy buddy with Zach again after he tried to killed Cat! And also the scene at the bar...his face when he gets flashes of the Gabriella girl. Urghhh urgh urgh. But yeah being pissed at Vincent completely ruined the ending scene even though it was meant to be sweet...all the things he was saying, like you said, I wasn't feeling it. I also don't really like how Cat ends up finding out who her dad was, I feel like there really must have been more interesting way to have her find out rather than by seeing him in those pictures.....

WOW .... So strange how we all think so differently. So quick with the judgments on this thread! So here are my two cents ... First and foremost JT said, that he had broken up with Alex for a short while before he joined the Army and the fling was very short lived. Now just to recap Vincent's state of mind at the time from what we know, he had just lost both his brothers in the Twin Towers and had definitely lost his way before he joined the Army. Anyone who has suffered from bereavement, will tell you that the loss of a beloved one can make you do crazy things! In multiple episodes Vincent has talked about his state of mind before and after he joined the Army. Perhaps once deployed Vincent realized, that he did what to be without his childhood sweetheart Alex after all? As for future love scenes between Vincent and Catherine, I personally think they will be hotter in the future. The tone of the show is definitely darker and sexier ... right now they are not giving us too much because they are slowly building the love story to a "musical crescendo" Very cleverly the writers are playing us like a fiddle, just building that sexual tension. No way are they giving Vincent a sexy scene with another women that Catherine cannot match, especially knowing what rabid fans we all are! Like Jay said, we want 50 shades "sexy time" " sexy time on HBO!" they know what we want and they are wetting out appetite for the big kiss scene that we all know is coming, we just have to be patient. As for those who doubt Kristin, she may surprize us all. I have faith because I don't think she is about to let the story down or Jay and the writers who seem to be willing to amp up the pace this season. But what do I know, I am just willing to sit in the passenger seat and enjoy the ride! LOL!!! regarding the cheating, u have a point there with the bereavement thing, I feel better now, maybe vincent wasn't a huge ass lol regarding the hot and sexy scenes, oh yes i ams ure we will have more of these in the future didn't think the gabriella scene was spectacular, nothing special really, she was just in underwear, so what. now that u mentioned J.T. lol i did feel sorry for him, he played the part so well lol (austin i mean) - two alphamales and HIM in the bar, that was hilarious

If Vincent was on a "break" from Alex and was with another girl, I don't really have a problem with it. I just don't want to see it played out in an overly sexy way, .......especially since we are all on "waiting" mode with VinCat. Same goes with Catherine.......I really don't want to see flashes of her with an old Beau! But, that's just me.

Kind of wish we were all watching this on the same night. A whole lot less confusion and jumping to conclusions without all of the information. Thanks for your insight, crazyforv. You are most welcome. I just don't get why people are always so harsh on Vincent after everything that has happened to him. I chuckle as I write this because I just realize that in life, I steer clear of very judgmental people. I realize that we are all flawed in one way or another and a product of our own up bring! As for me, I like to keep an open mind, when it comes to loved ones and never make judgements until I have all the facts. Just for the record, personally speaking, I am starting to fall in love with Vincent 2.0 and trust me I am surprized to say that because I loved Vincent last season! In the beginning, really did not think that I could love Vincent any more. BUT Vincent 2.0 is flawed, has a great heart and a depth that we are only just starting to scratch the surface of! Vincent is a flawed hero and who does not love a Rogue?

For those who have seen the episode and have shared some things....Thank you....just remember for us in the US who have to wait till Monday night, the suspense is a bit frustrating! So, please know that I am reacting to what is described and yes, my first impression of knowing Vincent was sleeping around with another girl when he was writing letters of love to Alex (and yes, they were love letters) is not going to be a positive one. Vincent did leave Alex without saying goodbye, etc. ...so I think it is a natural response to be a bit "judgmental". So, I will wait until I see the episode and at least I can view with a little bit of info under my belt.

Vincent is a flawed hero and who does not love a Rogue? Here is the problem - this issue has nothing to do with V "after everything that has happened to him". This happened BEFORE all the bad things happened to him from M. Second problem - these things don't match up with last season's "canon" if you will. We were made to believe the character of V was something specific last year. That is why the Alex arc hit so many people as hard as it did. It changed what we were led to believe was true. This is just another instance where we are left to doubt that character again. Thus the harsh reaction. It is like the writers aren't trying to be consistent with what they have already told us before. It is not judgemental - V is a character, not a real person. It is a plea for some consistency! I know the staff at BATB is not entirely the same, but I think they need to have SOME continuity between the two very different seasons. You can lose viewership if they don't have it.
