ooh and I forgot Vincent's eyes when Cat was with Evan blackouts are caused by his feelings for her ‼ ;D Oh and has anyone noticed how smiling and good looking Vincent came to Cat's apartament? He was smiling and wanted to say what he feels but I think he is still affraid yeah and what he is going to do when his ex comes? He was absolutely delectable this episode. I am still scratching my head as to how Catherine didn't just jump on him right when she saw him in her apartment... Yeah he was looking good and SMILING with that cute smile Does Cat needs glasses? ;D

I really enjoyed this episode. The B plot was interesting enough with the added twist of what really was happening at the gallery, and the interaction between Catherine and Vincent just goes from strength to strength. That was a really nice moment between them at the end, though I wondered at the "I have to go now, Vincent" line that seemed a bit tacked on. But perhaps they put that there in post-production or whatever, in order to put across the point that Catherine was gone when he went into his fugue state. I was very impressed by Catherine being able to zip up the back of her dress herself all the way. Perhaps it's just me who has problems with that sometimes! What I really like about this show is that people talk about things. I know that in TV, situations have to be expanded and dragged out in order to keep up suspense and leave us wondering. But it gets very tiring when characters are having a spat and you think to yourself, if you'd talked about it like adults, you wouldn't be half so annoying right now! And lo and behold, Vincent and Catherine talk things out a few times during the episode about her and Evan kissing and about where their relationship, such as it is. I even liked that her father called Catherine on her attitude but it was done in such a way that he wasn't being an ogre, more telling his adult daughter a few home truths without any extra drama going on. So now I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode and seeing how things develop. Can't believe I have to wait two weeks. As an only child who likes things NOW! even if she doesn't get them, I find this mean and is unsanctioned by me!

I loved this episode even though I thought the procedural story was a bit iffy. I'm thinking Evan is going to find out soon. It would be interesting if he became the Mike character soon like in Blood Ties without being AS MUCH of a romantic threat. So he would be against Cat being with Vincent but he keeps the secret because of his feelings for her.
Still, I wanted at least a hug in this episode between Vincent and Catherine.

Please can we get Kristin some better dress up clothes??? That Green Dress was Horrible.....I hope that isn't the final selection and we have to see it again at the wedding. Gastly! The black lace dress was pretty but too stiff looking....Tess looked great....Catherine could of been more glammed up. IMO Um, YES PLEASE!! Kristin is a beautiful girl and could really pull off wearing just about anything...well, except for that monstrosity of a dress that she tried on for the wedding. I don't think that dress will be the one worn in the wedding episode since both Cat and Step-thingy had a good laugh about it. I also agree that Kristin should've looked more glammed up, her dress was a little too plain. She already looks plain in every episode wearing her cop clothes, it would've been nice to see her wear something sexy. I'm praying that she will have a good look in the wedding episode. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was Catherine's Dad and the young "Mother-in-Law" ...........Just didn't buy the whole story. The connection of Catherine and her Dad wasn't working for me. The whole thing was off and I didn't care about it. It almost got me going when "Brooke" was caught kissing that guy....but then it just fell apart. Meh.... Also, agree with this. Cat's father did nothing for me in this episode. I didn't feel the connection between Cat/Dad at all. In fact I found him to be a big douche! I'm sure his appearance was there to be some sort of "lesson" or get Cat to to think about things, but I found their scenes to be a bit awkward. And though the Step-thingy situation was somewhat resolved, I still feel there is some shady stuff there. Vincent and Catherine ........they are great together. The way they look at each other would melt steel. I hope they really build this relationship and do it justice. I want honest dialogue and emotions .....I don't like teasing either.......Catherine looked like she was going for a kiss and then touched Vincent's face again and then the scene cut off. Some subtle teasing is OK but don't make it so obvious. If that all makes sense. Yes! I'm loving the chemistry between Vincent/Cat...so damn steamy and it keeps me wanting more and more. What I love about these two is how honest and open for the most part they are about their feelings. Yes, they are holding back a little bit but for the most part, it's clear as day how they feel about each other. They actually TALK and discuss things like normal adults in a healthy relationship do..I love it!! On the top of my head, in that episode they discussed the Evan kiss and how she waited all night for him to come to dinner...we hardly ever see scenes like these in other TV shows between couples...they are so open and it's wonderful! Love this relationship!! But...the teases need to stop. The abrupt ending to that wonderful scene with Cat touching Vincent's face was terrible. WHY, WRITERS...WHY? It killed the wonderful moment they had together....looked like a kiss should have occurred there..instead we get..."Alright, cya"...LOL.

More Random thoughts:
The Tess/Cat BFF relationship took a step forward in this episode. Yes, she wasn't totally honest with her about Vincent...but finally she told Tess there was/is a guy in her life. I loved seeing them discuss things like that like true BFFs do. And Tess kicks ass...I like here more and more each week!
Cat/Evan have chemistry and that "almost second kiss" was pretty darn hot. What I love is that the writers aren't just throwing them together just for the fun of it, I actually see mutual attraction between the two of them. And though I LOVE my VinCat, I kinda enjoy the flirty banter Cat/Evan have as well. It's pretty darn cute!
Catherine mentioned the birthday gift from Vincent, which I was happy about...but WHY no mention of what it was? I was dying to know what he gave her. I'm not on Twitter so I hope those of you that are can pester the writers for that answer.
Like many of you...I loved how Vincent's eyes glowed when he was jealous..so damn HOT!! It reminds me of Lana triggering Clark's heat vision...which I found damn sexy as well. I love jealous Vincent, and I hope to see jealous Cat when Vincent's fiance comes along.
That's it for now..we have a LONG 2 weeks until the next episode which looks great. I'm excited to see more Vincent and hopefully more of his backstory as well.

EXACTLY!!........it is like we are of one mind.....!!! We will have to compare notes on the next episode!! Definitely! You make a good point of Cat's honesty........She really puts it out there, but it isn't in your face. She seems to help Vincent to come out of his shell too. I don't like games and manufactured angst......let the emotions come out but in an honest and genuine way. I don't mind a little sassiness mixed in. Tess cracks me up........Cat and Tess have a great rapport with each other. I wasn't so sure I would like it at first but they support each other and can kid around and there are no egos in the way. They make it work. JT is a little more "relaxed".....I hope Sarah stays around.

Sooo...about that street vendor who sort of recognized Vincent as a "Keller"...he said Michael Keller used to come by there every day to buy a paper, I guess, and he lost 2 sons in 9/11 and one son in Afghanistan. So, if Michael Keller "used" to go by there every day, I wonder if he (Vincent's dad) is also dead.
Which made me wonder: WHO in Vincent's past is still alive besides the fiancee? What about J.T.? Parents, siblings? Vincent must have REALLY wanted to see Cat to chance being in his old neighborhood (Astoria?). He must look like his father to remind the street vendor of him.
So, yeah, now so curious about how many people from Vincent and J.T.'s past are dead and how many have simply been left behind. Because, I mean, if J.T. doesn't even see his family--that's like brotherly love for you. Although, J.T. does have somewhat of an outside life........
Inquiring minds!

YO!!! The best thing the writers have done in these last two episodes is parallel the case of the week with the Vincent and Catherine relationship. That is getting me to watch the entire show. Normally, I zoom thru all that cop stuff real quick. But the writers are doing a good job at keeping my attention.
Loved all the Vincent and Cat scenes and how open they are trying to be with one another.
But the parallels were so strong. Even the step-mom-to-be made a good point at the bridal salon when she said, "On the surface there are all these obstacles but for the right guy it's worth ignoring them." She hit a cord right there with Cat and even Tess noticed. "She's not a dumb blonde after all" is what I thought.
I am glad we are getting close to a kiss. We almost saw one. But don't worry guys it's coming.
Gots more to say. I want to read all the posts and comments.
Yo! West Coast Beasties, I love late night talking.

I did really enjoy this episode too. So intense! - Vincent's eyes glowing: awwwww pure jealousy! - the artist's studio scene: I admit I cried. It was so beautiful, heartbreaking. He spoke with his heart and "DO IT again, Vincent" His low tone voice made me shiver at that moment. How he mentionned the artist's point... the way he finally exposes his own feelings. Acting was so wonderful, chemistry between these two is killing me! - the final scene: I didn't expect a kiss. Really. Not in this episode. Slow burn!! Everything in emotion. The way they look at each other, it's hard to find such a chemistry between two characters. The way she tells him she's waiting the next moment to see him... The way she tells him he's the best thing in her life... What have they done with my heart? The way he tells her he was jealous, and how she receives this feeling. For me, this is their turning point. No come back. Now they've accepted their feelings for each other, these are going to be deeper, more intense, stronger. Their love's growing. This love is going to help them to go through the obstacles around. I love this couple so much. It's so nice to see them talking like adults. FINALLY. Be honest to each other guys! Waiting two weeks, it's pure torture!!!

To: Adm Vincent Keller,
That was a good recap and review.
I read it all before watching the show. I always do this. I never watch live. Too many commercials.

The whole thing was off and I didn't care about it. I so agree. I don't care for Cat's dad either nor her sister. All of that just shouldn't be part of the story IMO. I think the dad is boring and has no connection with her. The sister is an air head. I am so glad that she was not in this episode. Cat should be without these folks so that she depends more on Vincent. She has a partner in Tess and that is enough. I don't want more and more characters on this show to complicate things. Even the Vincent and J.T. background. It would be excellent if we knew about their pass from time to time but I don't need it in every episode. I liked the newspaper stand man. That was a nice touch. That whole scene there was nice. We learned a little about Vincent and his pass and that was enough for me for now. I don't need Vincent's father popping up from time to time if he is alive and the friends. Once in a blue moon yes. But the more characters into the show, the less Vincent and Cat we get. ~Milo

Oh yeah, her dad. He looked so fake to me I think in the future her "step-thingy" and her dad won't be together

I like the fact that Cat wants her foot in both world but I am more interested in Vincent's world than I am hers.
Cat and her father seem to have no connection.
JT should be an excellent confidant for Cat as far as we getting to know more about them. About JT and Vincent's background, JT can tell us a lot. We don't need to have some third party tell us about them except for once in a while.
I don't think Tess needs to know about Cat's secret. Let her keep guessing. If Cat needs to talk, she can be straight with Vincent and/or she can go to JT's school or any where else (he is not the one hiding) and talk about Vincent's issues there. JT will understand now that he is warming up to Cat and his new relationship. Tess might freak. I think Tess can be strung along for the whole season. She don't need to know. Let her believe that Cat and Evan have a thing going on.
