Oh pippin I can do you a few better: Vincent don't! We have nothing to worry about Get out of there - it is a trap We could loose everything we worked so hard for And that was only in the 10 second promotion. LOL. But all will be forgiven, IF we get VinCat moments and the photos DO raise my hopes. I'm not surprised at all with those line... this is Beauty and the Beast! Two persons in love with each other that are fighting to stay together, first because of their differences (policewoman - killer/vigilante and human - beast) and then because other people tried to divide them (rivals in love like the ADA or a parent like Bob or anyone beast related). It's epic love because they manage to stay together despite what happens around them and they are supportive to each other. Those lines fit well with my meaning of the show. VinCat sexy moments are a plus for us, not for the story IMO

Couldn't agree more I love JT and Tessa but together not so much and in season 3 like many felt that it was to much focus on them as a couple and it took away from Vincat so all these pictures of Vincat and love the promo of them especially the bike ride.
Downside for me is that here in the UK I've no idea when we will get to see season 4.

VinCat sexy moments are a plus for us, not for the story IMO I was not SURPRISED by the repetitive lines either. I think (I cannot speak for) pippin and I were just pointing out that maybe, just maybe the writers could come up with something else than those tired old phrases and scenarios. We were just poking some friendly fun at the things we were hearing in the promo, which we have heard over and over again BEFORE. In the second part of S3 Vincent did NOT have to be talked down from the ledge by Catherine anymore - he did it all by himself. So why are we back at this problem AGAIN in S4? Actually, I never understood how we arrived at this problem in the beginning of S3 at all, since Vincent was just fine at the end of S2 and did not have be talked down or 'whispered' to by Catherine when he for example killed the ADA-from-hell. Something really dramatic must have happened off-screen between S2 and S3 to make Vincent go back to being uncontrollably primal, but the writers did not see fit to explain why - they just presented it as a fact when Vincent was fighting Zane on the roof. I agree with everything else you say: they are fighting for their love - no question about that and no issue with that either, we were just talking about the repetitiveness while they are doing it.

I agree with everything else you say: they are fighting for their love - no question about that and no issue with that either, we were just talking about the repetitiveness while they are doing it. I think the explanation is supposed to be that in order to defeat super- beastly-Gabe, then super-human-Zane etc, etc. then super-human/super-beast-super-Liam, poor Vincent has to go further and further into his beastly primal side from which poor thing may not be able to come back. So it's he's never come up against a foe like this. Oh, no wait he's never come up against a foe like This. Oh, no, no no, he's never come up against a foe like THIS. They keep driving around in circles for 4 seasons, it's no wonder they get stuck saying the same things. I'm imaging the pitch for season 5 went something like: After killing the Ambassador of country XX, Vincent must go on the run as Interpol joins NYPD, FBI, and DHS in the hunt. As Cat and the gang work to clear Vincent's name or find someone else to frame for the killing, Liam's beastly off-spring arrives seeking revenge. Only VinCat's epic love can preserve Vincent's freedom and humanity as he goes up against a foe unlike any he's ever faced before.

Downside for me is that here in the UK I've no idea when we will get to see season 4. I didn't mind Tess and JT. I thought the writers seemed to have an easier time writing them in a more natural way than VinCat and JTnT's dialogue was less cringey for the most part. The JT storyline with the serum poisoning was actually something I thought they should have done with Vincent instead. Then VinCat could have had those different type of scenes to play with a Vincent / VinCat bucket list.I'm hoping this season VinCat will be written more like they were in Chasing Ghosts. But if it's going to be whiney Vincent and pleading Cat and those cringe inducing humanity / save us speeches, I'd just as soon keep the VinCat to a minimum. I'll take ten minutes of well-written VinCat an episode over 40 minutes of them rehashing the same things over and over.

I agree with everything else you say: they are fighting for their love - no question about that and no issue with that either, we were just talking about the repetitiveness while they are doing it. I think after Bob's attack and the murder of Tory's father Cat has few issue with Vincent going primal. Vincent can sense her fear and that makes him losing every bit of self-confidence. And that's a think that I don't like about Cat. In S1 and most part of S2 Vincent was afraid of what other people could think of him or to hurt people around him. He wasn't able to accept what he is, a human and a beast. Afetr he seems afraid of himself and what Cat could think of him. His beasting out is linked with his feelings. We can see that Tory's father and Liam, that probably were more dangerous than Vincent, in fact had total control of their beasts. Feelings are that things that keep Vincent alive but are even the things that could potentially take him to a point of no return because he is affected by people around him (every time Vincent is only around Cat, he is like a cute puppy, but near a raging man his beast side is overpowered. Anyway... I think people working for the CW could make a better work with those promo vids... Maybe those line will be lost in lots of episodes and will fit with the storyline, so why put them together AGAIN a 30sec vid? About JT in S3: I think writers put down the story of superhuman JT in order to give him an arc. Otherwise the character of JT would have been only a supporter and not a main. for me in S1 and S2 we have 2 leads (Cat and Vin), 1 main (Gabe) 2 supporter (JT and Tess) and some recurring characters (like Heather and Bob). In S3 we had 4 main characters (Heather is a supporter for me). Austin in one of the last interviews said the he suggested to writers that arc
