Hi everyone!
Well summer is almost over for me and also for the cast! Yeeeeaaah!!
I have a question regarding the shooting date and the release date... It probably has an obvious answer but here it goes anyway: why are they shooting so early if they will be premiering s3 in almost one year from now??? Do you think that it is in case the original plan (new TV shows, I mean) doesn't work, so they can forecast BATB earlier than planned...? Just thinking (and hoping, and praying)

Oh, I could handle the return of Dr. Keller (scrubs, lab coat, stethoscope...but I digress)....So will they first say NO to the super secret organization and live a "normal" life for a while....doctor/detective by day, vigilantes by night? ..but then something will happen, perhaps related to Heather, that will make them have to work with the secret government organization....(perhaps Heather's hubby is not truly who he claims to be)....I wonder what will be going on with JT&T? Together or apart? ....that is the question. 8 months will just fly by, won't they...someone, please throw me a line....I am quickly falling into the bottomless BatB abyss!!!! For me it actually felt longer the amount of time that they took to announce the renewal for s3 than the 2 months hiatus! I guess it was such a long time that it just escaped from my imagination. It happens the same when I try to think of price of big houses, for instance... Too big numbers! So take it easy... one thing at a time... first the re-watches, then the awards, then other shows ratings (cause I am sure this is a key factor for when s3 will be airing), then sneak peeks, behind the scenes pictures, tweets from Austin Basis, Catherine Ashton, etc. And that will be it!

I think a bit better, over a million... However, I didn't know it was last night!!! I thought it was next week! Argg!! cacosa, día y hora, pleeeaaaseeee!! Tuesdays? 22:00??? What about Divinity channel??? Yeah! exactly! I saw a very cool promo a couple of weeks ago but they didn't say the returning date. Then I was checking Cuatro website to see if they mentioned it there and NOTHING! NADA! And then today I knew about this cause Anna asked me about ratings in Spain!!!!!! Last year BATB was around 1.3 million viewers. There has been a big drop from last year but considering 1. many didn't know the return date 2. competition: arrow, under the dome, etc... 3. they aired 3 new episodes, being the last one after midnight. Viewers from 1st to 2nd ep increased (from 750 to 900) then dropped from 2nd to 3rd (after midnight) to 720.000 I hope next week people is aware about BATB being back and we improve our numbers! However, the competition is tough but the type of audience also different... We'll see... edit: oh! and it's on Cuatro on tuesdays at 22'00. No idea if Divinity will air them too... Divinity tonight... from 1:45 am to 3:45 am!!!! Whaaaaaaaaat? Almost as it was airing in the States!!!

Last night was the S2 premiere of BATB in Spain, with these numbers. Slightly lower than last year, but we had against "Under The Dome" and "Arrow" premiere. Out of curiosity what were the numbers last year and how does arrow do I think a bit better, over a million... However, I didn't know it was last night!!! I thought it was next week! Argg!! cacosa, día y hora, pleeeaaaseeee!! Tuesdays? 22:00??? What about Divinity channel???

I voted for Sunday at 2 pm because it definitely works better for me than later times due to time zones (I am in Spain). However, it is not a time that works entirely for me because it is 8 pm in here and I am probably still in the middle of baths, dinners, etc. What would work for me the best is the time we used for s1: 4pm in the East Coast (I think), 10 pm in Spain. But if it doesn't work out, then I will watch and comment later

And someone else mentioned Virus. I am with you there. Viruses transforming people into Zombies or other creatures is certainly trending right now in television shows. How many virus-related shows debuted in the US this summer alone? I can see people trying to come up with new ways to make people into Beasts and coming up with Viruses as a way to deliver the transformation to the subjects. And the Virus then mutating and risking Beasting-out or killing other humans in ways not predicted when created. Would certainly be a good mission to send VinCat on BUT with the added risk of a immune-compromised JT catching whatever they brought back. Or else Vincent's powers being compromised as well as a result of the virus. No, please... No zombies... If zombies are in, I am afraid I will be out...

THE only um dislike I have about this episode is 'LATCH' placement LOL .Don't get me wrong the song is nice but it didn't fit for that moment for me.. I mean a scene a lot of the time makes more impact when the song makes it more powerful. Great example Season one Pilot - Never Let Me Go Saturn Returns - Best Part Of Me Bridesmaid Up - To Be Torn Tough Love - Catalyst Partners In Crime -Stay With Me HEART of Darkness - Safe With Me Date Night - whirlpool Season. 2 Who Am I - I Can't Make You Love Me And the last few episodes of season 2 BLUE blood, Out Of The Scenery, Guiding Light, Palms All the songs made more of an impact on the scenes for me. Don't get me wrong the 'moment' was nice but it wasn't beauitful for me LOL As you can see it takes a lot more then just a scene for me to like it....I have to FEEL it. Music helps me do that. Truth is I don't think for me music has been so powerful in s2 as it was in s1, I don't know why. However, I must say that my favorite song+moment from both seasons was "Poison and Wine" at the end of ep 2x8 (8, right?). And then, of course, "Catalyst".

Okay folks been reading what Stuart Gillard wrote on twitter about letting CW know we want BATB at comic con NYC. 1. Online petitions aren't all that. IMO and experience (Rose Campaign) cough cough...The sending postcards or letters is much better. Now if you want I can organize something here. I can also organize weekly trend events starting next month.Remember these events are planned and booked in advance. So the earlier we start something the better. I do nothing on my own. I need people to join me in this If interested let me know and I will find addresses and start planning a mini NYCC campaign. Even if you can't attend.. I plan to be there if any cast attend so imagine all the goodies I can bring you guys? Count Me in! All for another campaign! Me too!!

It maybe cliche, but I wouldn't mind an arc that mirrors the fairy tale. Something goes wrong with Vincent's DNA and he's turned into a full fledged hideous beast, complete with fur and lion's face. You know, it could work in the Rebecca/Alistair story. What if he was your fully fledged hideous beast and they had a chance meeting that blossomed into a full blown love affair? As the love grew, and the inner beast softened, the outward appearance changed. We don't know how they met, and I would love to see more of that story woven through the current story in Season 3. I'm sure that I am not the only one that would love to know more about our Miss Reynolds and her Beast. No, you are not! I just posted the same in the 2x22 thread!

Because it's stupid, lazy and juvenile. Remember you asked. :-) it is a nickname anyway, not important i doubt they will grace us with their presence in season 3 I hope they do! It would be great to see how Alistair became a beast if it wasn't on a military experiment, but because of something else! And how did Rebecca find out about it? As I said before, these last two episodes had some stories that would have been worthier to develop in many more episodes than other red hair arcs ( ). And I agree with ArwenFan LOL... Ralistair sounds like Brangelina...

That is what I did after this last long hiatus because, as you said, my expectations were influenced by other people's opinions, speculations and expectations. And, honestly, I loved it! For me, it was much better to be amazed and surprised by things. For instance, I had no idea Sheckman's case was going to be the cold case, or that Beth would be back or that Gabe was going to become a beast again. Discovering those things while watching the eps made them worthier, IMO. if i had the will power i may have done the same lol btw i did not know about these things either and i follow all spoilers i think generally they are careful with what they release unless of course things are leaked which is what happened in last years finale I guess I am afraid that happens. For instance, after watching... 2x12 (Recipe for Disaster, right?) I felt I had seen the episode before I had actually seen it: I knew JT was going to be kidnapped, that there was a guy in the dungeon and that Tori ( ) died. Nothing new for me. It was a pretty empty episode, anyway, and maybe knowing things in advance made it look even more "bleh". I feel that even if they are careful with what they release, my imagination just goes bananas speculating how the story is going to develop. Then I was either delighted or disappointed. That is why I gave spoilers up. It is hard, but I find it worth it. You should give it a try!

I've watched it several times now and I think they did an excellent job! So much to love and the ending was beautiful. After all the downs this season I thought they did a good job wrapping things up. There was plenty of VinCat/Ralistair to satisfy my cravings ( yes I want more passion but it wouldn't have been appropriate in this episode - although a bit of bodice ripping would have been awesome!!!!) I have gotten more emotional, the more I have watched it. I thought KK was heart wrenching as Rebecca crying at Alistair's death. This could have been anguishing if we had gotten to know both Alistair and Rebecca more!! that was a shame!!! This was definitely so much better than the Season 1 finale. Yes it wasn't perfect but I think TPTB's hearts were in the right place on this one. Gabe is dead. As in dead, dead. Will miss Sendil but glad Gabe is now done! Hopefully things are on the up for Season 3. I might change tactics in Season 3. I love spoilers so cannot even pretend to stay away from those. But I have found my expectations of an episode influenced by other peoples opinions in the early viewers thread. So will stop going there until I have seen episodes for myself. I came to BATB in January 2013 after ep 9 winter break. Going into those episodes not knowing what was coming was magical. Love hearing all Beasties opinions but will do it after I have made my own. That is what I did after this last long hiatus because, as you said, my expectations were influenced by other people's opinions, speculations and expectations. And, honestly, I loved it! For me, it was much better to be amazed and surprised by things. As to the potential for Tori coming back in Season 3, I DO NOT foresee that happening. That storyline was so unpopular in how it evolved on screen that there was no way to salvage it, particularly as it seems that fans left in droves. The Tori/Vincent having this "primal pull" that supposedly only Beasts can have is, in my opinion and as others have said before me, a real slap at the VinCat relationship as it implies that Catherine could never have the sexual satisfaction appeal to Vincent that another she-beast could have. Frankly, what I think the writers initially hoped to convey was that VinCat were clearly having relationship issues/disconnect that was happening due to Vincent's seeming enjoyment of his kills. Vincent and Cat couldn't agree on plans to determine Vincent's handler and over "justice" for Vincent/Tori, etc. and were just overall not getting along (Tess even comments on Cat's need to overcompensate with Thanksgiving decorations because of what was going on in her life.) Vincent's behavior and differences from his previous pre-amnesiac self were scary to Cat and obviously causing her alarm bells to go off. We twice saw instances on our screen of Vincent wanting sex from Cat and her denying him due to what was going on at the time ("Reunion" and then at the beginning of the episode right after Cat had seen Vincent pull Windsor's heart out). And Vincent, at that time, was so angry (leftovers from traumatic torture and brainwashing/programming to kill as well as from loss of his memories) that when he felt "betrayed" by Cat (at least in his mind), Vincent turned to whatever else was there, particularly as at some level, there was revenge against Cat. We CLEARLY saw in "Ancestors" just how much it bothered Vincent that Catherine had kissed a guy. Tori was easily able to play on that and manipulate, while also being vulnerable herself and a former victim, to the point that when you take all of that together, the Vincent/Tori sex actually makes sense from a practical standpoint. The two were virtually isolated at this point and felt like it was them against the world. And, importantly to note at the time, I DO think part of the old Vincent WAS under the surface that realized that his actions and beast inclinations were causing trouble/stress for Cat. Vincent had already seen the toll that "Beast issues" had taken on Cat in "reunion." Thus, the old Vincent guilt at what his relationship with Cat had cost her was easily able to be played upon by Reynolds at the time, WHO THREATENED TO EXPOSE CAT if Vincent continued in a relationship with her. Add in Tori's "beastly influence" power thingy, whatever that was (and YES, I would have like the writers to have better defined that, etc. but it is what it is) at the exact time of Reynolds threat, followed by finding out Reynolds was the cause of torture, amnesia, AND attempting to kill Vincent after having used him and thrown him out like garbage led to the Tori thing (because in Vincent's rage-fueled mind at the time, Cat valued justice more for her father than for him). At any rate, Vincent immediately became involved with Tori only to seemingly clearly regret said involvement following "Held Hostage." By this time, the "sexual pull" with Tori had obviously turned out to be basically empty, since Vincent would sneak out of bed, per Tori, every night to call Cat. Thus, WHO DO YOU THINK VINCENT was REALLY thinking about while having sex with Tori? Quite frankly, Vincent found that just primal sex did nothing for him other than make him long for Cat and a REAL CONNECTION with his lover. He didn't even think to tell Tori about Beast things that he learned when he was LIVING with her, preferring to share everything with Cat. HOWEVER, while I think the Viewer is supposed to REALIZE that primal beast sex was certainly NOT appealing for more than a blink of the eye, I CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE preferred to have Vincent SAY that to JT so that the Viewer would be left with no question who Vincent's sexual mate as well as romantic mate really is. Due to the above abyss that Tori created, potentially, for all She-Beasts and the history we have learned throughout the rest of Season 2, it is rather obvious that the writers would not bring in another She-Beast since that would only make fans fear another Tori-style incident, the rather murky waters created surrounding whether or not is really primal pull or not for beasts that would potentially override Vincent's good sense and judgment again, and the fact that, supposedly, Beasts all go bad in the end (unless they are loved and return said love), we are just not likely to get a She-Beast again (and certainly NOT Tori--mass rioting in the streets would be too likely. We Beasties can be a potentially vocal group when our VinCat appears attacked. I, for one, would go Code Yellow over a reappearance of Tori. And that coming from someone who is herself named Victoria but has gone by Tori all her life and now is quite afraid to ever use real name around Beasties after the above plot! I mean, I WANTED to like a character with ny namesake and all. Couldn't make it happen.). Despite saying the above, the Writers COULD, if done well, bring in another She-Beast in Season 3 as one of the experimented-on victims. Quite naturally, I think Catherine would then have a "Normal Couple" reaction to said She-Beast in being reminded of the whole Tori-thing and how she and Vincent never talked about it afterwards (I mean, really, they can't have. By the time they got back together in 216, Vincent got arrested the very next morning. So the Tori issues have never been discussed. And I would think that Vincent would NOT want to discuss the whole Tori thing since he has said that he "doesn't want to know about Gabe's firsthand anything!" Meaning that whatever happened during their time apart is not something that Vincent ever wants to think about again.). Bringing in another She-Beast and having Cat either react badly or behave distantly from Vincent, or really have any time of concerns at all, would force VinCat to discuss previous issues. And the Writers could then clear up for Catherine (AND FOR FANS) the fact that Tori never was loved by Vincent and that the "primal pull" beast sex was actually empty because not based on a REAL CONNECTION like the kind that VinCat have. Plus, as we saw, Tori never helped pull Vincent out of his selfish Beast phase. Only Catherine could bring him back to loving human after what had happened in "Held Hostage" when Vincent realized that he COULD trust Cat. Sorry, long post. But wanted to say why I think we WON'T see Tori in Season 3, but we MIGHT see a style of She-Beast just to create normal couple concerns (like Cat fearing if Vincent could again be attracted to that dark side and cheat on her, etc.). I hope you are right!! I would really like to hear this two discuss about Tori ( ) because we had to deal with the "Tori and Vincent have a connection that he will never have with Catherine" c**p, but we never heard him saying that that "connection" meant nothing to him and HOW he realized that Catherine was the one he needed/wanted to be with. Other than that, honestly, any reference to a potential Vincent and Tori's ( ) baby makes me feel like

One quick word on the comments that Gabe hurting Cat was out of character as he had always stated that he wanted to protect her from Vincent. This may be controversial but I think this was not his main objective. I think he kept saying this to justify his actions but I think he just wanted to kill Vincent because Cat chose Vincent over him and he dosen't like losing. He obsessed over her (like a stalker) but how can he have loved her. He attacked Cat in the last episode when she rejected him at his apartment and once she called him a <edited>*d and told him it was all over in this episode, he knocked her down and then went for her with a broken bottle. He didn't go for Vincent at this point, he went for Cat. This could have been because he loved her and was so hurt by her rejection, but I'm not buying it. Does anyone really believe Gabe was capable of loving anyone to this degree. Vincent loved Cat enough to back off and let her have a chance at happiness with someone else, even though it caused him pain to let her go. Gabe had nothing else to lose and the mantra 'I'm protecting Catherine' was just to justify his actions to himself and convince himself he wasn't that bad a person. Becoming a beast again was his worst fear at one point but by the time he injected himself, I think he knew he had already got there on his own. Let's not forget that he did not care about his s1 girlfriend, Tyler, when she got kidnapped by JT and Vincent; he basically told them to go and kill her. That does not show that he cared much about someone who loved him even back then...
