Seeing all the enthusiasm and voting activity here, I’m positive the forum members will bring in as many votes as last year. I hope we're on a good track to defend our titles! I’m still a bit behind, couldn’t do much on Thursday (was in a meeting till the evening), but got in 8.500 yesterday and hope to make up for it this weekend . Though with all those browser restarts I don’t manage more than 1.800 in 1 hour maximum. (The ordered additional RAM didn’t arrive yesterday, so I will have to wait till Monday) The idea with the mouseclick counter was great, now I'm getting at least accurate numbers 8500 is outstanding! I hope the RAM helps your performance. You are really investing in this! Bravo! The mouse counter is great a motivator. Thank you Chymere! I just did over 10,000 votes today!!! That's my new record. I'm going to try and beat it tomorrow. My four day total now stands at around 28,000 votes, actually it's more, as I'm not counting the votes I got in with the phone app.

Keep up the great work guys! I'm managing around 3000 votes per day. I still miss the FB voting option. It was a fantastic motivator and gave us a clue as to which categories were being voted most. We have a great chance at winning again this year. 'Together we can overcome anything'

Yes it was , but like BeastieBoy said, using the mouseclick counter is pretty motivating, too (not quite the same , but better than nothing ) So for the newbie voters some inspirational numbers of 2014 FB voters: (I kept some pics, lol) (that says 1.200.034) (that says 1.905.442) That will be hard to match, lol. I try to come close to my last year’s number, but it will be hard with the slower app. But the good thing is, other fandoms can’t vote faster, too. Speed is the same on FB and PCA. Although I see a slight disadvantage for smaller fandoms, because we rely on voting faster and more. So Beasties, prepare for some insane amount of voting this year!

May I ask what's the best way to vote through the app to save time. Imo voting through the computer on the website is much quicker when you use the 4+ open tabs. But when I'm not near a computer I vote on my phone. But it takes so much longer than via computer going back & forth between best scoff & KK. Any tips to speed things up?

ok need a break from voting lol. my eyes are hurting i have checked topsy and there is much less batb and kristin activity in the past couple of days. i hope people are voting and the lack of tweets does not mean lack of voting. there are much fewer of us this year and there is so much voting going on for Nina and Supernatural (based on tweets and the diversity of tweets - so many different people tweeting from the other fandoms, but only the same ones from our fandom). oh well, i guess we are doing the best we can do... will vote again in the evening. i manage around 20 votes per minute with multiple windows open and every 300 votes or so i need to reopen the windows due to memory issues. my hubby is finishing a project today so i will be able to vote for at least 2 hours this evening if not more.

I hope for the same. I don’t look at twitter so often, and it’s hard to compare with last year’s twitter voting, where every Beastie on twitter tried to tweet the hashtags as much as possible. TVD fans also tweeted about voting for Nina a lot more than us, but I had the impression they were more talking about voting then actually voting. Here at the forum a few of last year’s strong voters are missing, but we gained some new power voters instead. Have you tried to customize a "back" and "next tab" key? At the beginning I can do 40 per minutes, for about 100 votes. Then it starts to slow down, until after about 300 votes the tabs start to load with different speed and the "hit+click" technique doesn’t work anymore, because you lose the rhythm and start to click on the lady with the hat or Masterchef Just finished another 1.000 in about 37 minutes, 9k total for today. Some mentioned they found a way to vote super fast by phone now, maybe they could share their technique? Beasties, we can really use any extra vote, even if you are slower at your PC/phone, every vote counts!

I've discovered a fast way to vote at the same time with app in my cel phone and in my ipad at the same time! I'm doing better than in PC. Voting like crazy now Can you explain please - I'm on iPad and iPhone too. Trying to get faster! Sorry. I just saw your post now... Well, as I do not have many computer habilities I think I am doing better with the app, because I do not know how to change my keyboard. It is simple and there is no magic, I just put my iPad and my iPhone in the desk. With my right hand I vote in the iPad and while it is processing the vote, I vote with my left hand in my iPhone. While the vote is processing I come back to the iPad, slide the purple title returning the page for favorite fantasy/ sci fi show and vote again. Then, I do this over and over. I Know is not the fastest way, but with my skills that's the best I can do. I am making 30 votes per minute. I really believe we can win for the third year and I am sure i will not regreat the time I am wasting with it! There are beasties all over the world doing their best. I like to think that while I am sleeping, there is a group of fans in the Other side of the World voting. I am very glad to join this good energy and vibration!

Well that's exactly the way I'm voting too, when I'm at home. When I'm on the move it's just the iPhone and sometimes there goes a vote accidentally to Ian Somerhalder but I'm trying to make use of every possible moment to compensate the slower voting with the app. And I too believe that we can win and I'm proud to be part of it. So let's roar beasties!

Hopefully beasties are too busy voting to tweet in force. Since every fandom is in the dark relative to the other fandoms, this might be a good thing. SN, TVD & Nina fans may see the lack BATB tweets and let up a little. But beasties are in a do or die situation for our show, that's a big motivator! The other fandoms mostly want bragging rights. I'm in it to win it because I believe it will help our chances for S4 renewal. I firmly believe we can repeat again!

I too believe that while other fandoms might be bigger in number not all of their fans might be this committed. Meaning we are kind of even in that case And i've got the feeling that some of our committed fans out there might as well be silent voters. Seeing other people's efforts is really encouraging though! makes you wanna vote more and more..
Not to mention they might not have all these techniques

Not to mention they might not have all these techniques I hope so, lol! Out of curiosity took a look on twitter at some SPN fans who voted the most last year: This was the one with the 400.000 FB votes: twitter.com/SPN_Sherry : not much to no talk at all about PCA’s Same with this one: twitter.com/raining_silenceThis one named herself Vote For Jensen last year(one of the tweetdeck cheaters) twitter.com/Mz_Spn :ditto, not much.. Without the FB app and twitter voting these guys really don’t seem very motivated this year , but there might be others They also seem to try to all vote for Misha Collins, to avoid a repeat of last year’s loosing against Ian Somerhalder. I read something like this a few times S. E. Hinton @se4realhinton • PPC awards--vote 4 Misha fav actor, J&J for fav duo, & the vote won't get split like last year with the award going to cute snarky VD actor not saying that Misha deserves it more than either J, but last year the fandom voted 4 one J or the other, & the result was VD actor winVoting super fast this evening on PCA site, so back to voting 1000 in 28 min 22 sec(2 restarts included)!

I'm barely on twitter and rarely tweet. But I'm voting like crazy!
BTW, for PC users who want to use the mouse counter, but are using the mouse to hit "next tab"and/or "back" and then "vote", just divide the mouse counter total by the number of clicks to get in the vote (e.g. 6000 mouse clicks divided by 3 would mean 2000 votes). I know, it's simple math, don't mean to offend anyone's intelligence. Not trying to preach or push the the mouse counter on anyone either. But I find the mouse counter very motivating to track my daily progress.
For those of us who use the keyboard for the "next tab" and "back" functions, and only the mouse to "vote", then the mouse count is 1:1.
