Every vote counts, so we'll all do the best with what we have. Based on the Facebook numbers from last year, does anyone have an idea on how many total votes were needed to win our given categories of Fav Sci-fi/Fantasy TV show & Actress? Using my current technique, I can get in about 30 votes per minute easily. Yesterday, I was so inspired by BATB & KK getting nominations I spent 4 hours voting, good for approx 7200 votes. If I average at least 2 hours a day for the next 30 days, that's over 100,000 votes. Of course I'll try to do more! A Facebook counter sure would be nice. But I can't wait for that. I think my time estimates are close enough to approximate how many votes I'm getting in. 30 votes per minute? what technique is that? boy, i'm embarrased with my effort..i did timed my votes 15mins on BATB and 15 mins on KK..maybe on a Friday, Sat & Sun nights i can increase my mins. I explained this technique on page 1 in the 2nd post of this thread. This is for voting via the PCA website on a PC. I also have ad blockers, a PC with 16GB of memory, and a strong internet connection. So it's very fast. The elimination of mouse cursor movement and use of multiple tabs is what saves time (and fatigue). With this technique there is no cursor movement needed on the screen to select the next tab or reload the desired voting page back. I also keep the BATB & KK voting square in the same position in each Tab, so no cursor movement is needed to select the vote either. It's just 3 fast clicks, no cursor movement at all. One click moves to the next tab, the next click reloads the voting page, the final click gets the vote in. What does take some concentration is keeping my right hand and left hand finger clicking rhythm well coordinated. But once I get going, I go into robot mode. Everyone has got a technique that works best for them depending on their setup. I'm always looking for tips to speed up the voting process. bbat mentioned using last year's phone app some could get in 100 votes per minute. Which is amazing, since that means getting around 1.6 votes in per second.

I think I'll stick to my mouse & click then it reloads, I'm so low tech on my gadgets & im not use to the tabs.

Are the reps and Brazilian Beasties still on Twitter? I guess it's hard to tell where most of the votes are going now since Twitter and FB voting have been suspended this year. I have high hopes we will make it a hat trick and win 3 years in a row On my phone app I can vote between 30 and 34 votes per minute Happy voting everyone!! Hope those twitter reps, whoever they are, are all in again I found this quote on their tumblr page wearedestinedbatbrp.tumblr.com/ "collectively, the RPs voted for the BatB and Kristin Kreuk almost 5 MILLION times to help us secure our latest People’s Choice Awards victories" so I have to correct myself, they voted even more! Seems some are already on it: twitter.com/JTForbtwitter.com/DetCatChandlerBeasties are crazy, lol. Some voted literally day and night. But fans from TVD and SPN are as crazy as us, so no time to rest! Though it sucks that we are totally in the dark this year But can't change that, so on to my early morning office voting round!

I use my keyboard (key config plug for firefox) to change tab ( 2 "keypad") and reload the voting page back ( Enter "keypad too") and my mouse just for vote so you don't have need to move it. I zoom out (CTRL + -) the PCA page and reduces my window to the maximum (Firefox takes less RAM).

I never wasted one thought about the RAM usage of my PC before, now I already ordered 4 GB additional RAM at Amazon, I expect the delivery today Chymere, do you mean you make the window as small as possible to use less RAM? I've read that Firefox is only able to use 4 GB RAM maximum, but there is a Firefox clone "Cyberfox", specially designed for 64 BIT systems, with which you can use more than 4GB, so I will install this browser then...Hope it works, so I don't have to restart the browser every few minutes and get more votes in!

Thanks! Like you, I use no mouse movements to vote. The beauty of that is I can multi-task on my computer. I usually watch videos, listen to music, or watch a DVD while voting. Since my fingers are on auto pilot, I don't need to keep my eye closely focused on the PCA voting window, while I watch a video in another window. But mousotron will probably catch my clicks when I do stuff in other windows, so hopefully it can be turned off when I don't want it to count my mouse clicks. I got in well over 3 hours of total voting time today. Good for around 5400 votes based on my time estimates. I'll see if I can get the mouse counter to work.
