Reynolds again brings up "speaking of boyfriends" when Cat and he go to question Windsor at his apartment. And Reynolds states that he hopes Cat can TRUST her boyfriend. And Cat, of course, doesn't know where Vincent is at that time.
AND since Vincent KNOWS about the tracking device in Tori, HE SHOULD have warned Cat who would OF COURSE be looking into the boathouse once Tori goes missing. Vincent still won't voluntarily work with Cat on his missions until she forces herself into the scene.

Love how we see V already packing 4 his camping trip w/ Cat. You see the win and duffel bag on the counter when hes talking to Reynolds. V doesn't even know how long his last 2 missions will take, but hes ready to just bolt w/ Cat as soon as he completes them. Its so obvious and absolutely adorable

Also, director makes sure to leave out a bowl of apples on Vincent's table that we see as Cat walks in. Apples is traditionally seen as the fruit of temptation in our fairy tales (Snow White) and in the Bible (apple gets blamed for Eden). I find that interesting considering where the relationship with Tori is going to go.

At the point of the episode where Tori first appears. We have another 6 more weeks of her (shudders)

I also LOVE how Vincent has already bought the bottle of wine that he is planning to take on the camping trip as well. He is SO looking forward to being done with his missions!
Also, it is heartbreaking, at least to me, that Windsor's men steal the picnic and wine. To me, this is symbolic of it being a WINDSOR that steals Vincent from Catherine and halts the picnic from every taking place. Major foreshadowing in this episode.

Seriously how does Tori not even hear V? I didn't think he was that quiet. LOL

Ugh! Even the way Tori is presented on the screen when we first see her! It is like she doesn't know what to do with herself. Felt that was symbolic of the character as a whole.

Tori inadvertently saves V's life by walking in on her father and V. Should we b thanking her? LOL

And SOMETHING happened 3 years prior, it is said, to ACTIVATE Curt Windsor. Was it his daughter? It never actually says, but to me, this makes the most sense. Tori, an actual bred beast, ACTIVATES the dormant gene/serum in her father upon coming of age maybe? And the mother also died 3 years ago making it seem like Windsor could have killed her? I REALLY wish that they would have tried to fill in some blanks regarding Tori.

A little foreshadowing by Bob "Maybe you wont fall in love w/ a lost cause" Cat is being wise about Reynolds. She knows hes given her no real reason to trust him

We see Tori "activating" both Vincent AND her father in this episode, to my eye at least. We don't actually see her eyes "glow" until the end, but we DO see her touch both men and then they change.

BUT the problem with Reynolds words is that they STAY WITH CATHERINE. You will notice in her conversation with Tess at the precinct that she tells Tess that "Vincent is NOT a lost cause." And Tess points out that SHE never said he was. Meaning that Cat was dwelling on her father's words. He has an influence on Cat, whether we (or Cat) want him to or not.

When Cat goes into V's place and sees the camping bag and bottle of wine, its so sweet. Cat even starts to realize a bit how much V really wants to get as far away from these missions as possible. Even though she knows this V isn't her V 1.0, its still evident how much she loves him and how much shes hoping that they can move forward from these missions, even though right now shes not really sure how they will do it.

Tess does want whats best for Cat, but Tess always approaches that and voices her opinion about Cats relationship w/ V in the wrong way.

Interesting thing to note about the café scene between Cat and her father. Reynolds tells Cat that "he was the FBI liaison." To what? He DOESN'T admit his actual INVOLVEMENT with Muirfield. We know he was ACTUALLY involved in Muirfield's founding AND in approaching Zaho (or however you spell his name--they guy that was supposedly the whole head of Muirfield yet only appears and goes down in one episode) for purposes of creating super-soldiers for Black Ops work. Reynolds DOES admit that Vanessa was involved in Muirfield at the time that they met. He tells Cat that he can fill in the blanks for her, BUT he is already lying to Cat about his own deeds with Muirfield.
