The numbers should either remain steady or adjust up. Sacramento and San Francisco are both on Pacific Time (West Coast). The Preemption matters depending on the size of the viewing market. I don't think Sacramento/San Fran is that big of a viewing market,.......if it was NY or Chicago, etc. the numbers would be inflated . In this case, I don't think it will adjust down, if very little. Exactly.

Why would a preemption in a West Coast market be any different than one on the east? The Fast national numbers include the West Coast. The size of the market preempted is what matters and then, I think, whether the show was broadcast at a later time that same day to be included in the same day viewing numbers. I don't think Sacramento/San Fran is that big of a viewing market,.......if it was NY or Chicago, etc. the numbers would be inflated . In this case, I don't think it will adjust down, if very little. San Francisco is the 6th largest market in the country. Sacramento is 20th. But the CW was NOT preempted in San Francisco on Monday, only in Sacramento. I checked in with someone I know who lives there and watches the show and they said that it was supposed to air at 11pm Monday night but didn't actually start until later so when they DVR'd it, they only got the first 20 mins or so. This is only to make you a little happy: ITALY, Jul.03, 2014 (official press release Rai2) La serata televisiva prevedeva su Rai2 un doppio appuntamento con il telefilm "Beauty & the Beast": il primo episodio (Who Am I) ha realizzato 1.125.000 spettatori e uno share del 5.24%, mentre per il secondo episodio (Kidnapped) 1.041.000 con il 5.06%. Please smile! That's great. Thank you for posting the numbers. Beauty is going to start airing again in Australia on Fox8 www.fox8.tv/shows/beauty-and-the-beast The channel also airs Sleepy Hollow, Falling Skies, Arrow, Strike Back. Also read that it will be airing again in Germany. Here's a pretty good article about ratings for those interested. www.spottedratings.com/2013/09/intro-to-nielsen-ratings-basics-and.htmlIn the article, an ABC exec. says that they calculate the Nielsen margin of error to be plus or minus 0.2 for the 18-49 rating. If that applies to the CW with all of their shows now basically under 1.0, it is no wonder they aren't focusing much on Nielsen ratings.

One, with the exception of Los Angeles, the East Coast has a larger market. Second, the preliminary ratings include data from (5:00 PM – 3:00 AM EST / 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM PST). Based on your post, I am assuming BATB only aired from 9:00 pm – 9:20 pm PST or so. With that said, the ratings would only include data from that period or whenever BATB actually aired.

I am telling u this show lol is made for countries like Italy Spain Greece lol we love that type of stuff If the show was not on Paying TV in Greece it would be a huge hit for sure Regarding Anna's comment I have an idea that keeps in my mind for a long time. It is about a trending event addressing a Greek channel to buy BatB but please guide me as to where should I post my ideas.

ok final numbers out we stayed at 0.3 but... numbers of viewers significantly down at 760k! We remained steady. Meaning, we will make up the viewers in the Live +7 DVR ratings.

I thought originally you were trying to say that being preempted on the West Coast didn't effect the fast national ratings for some reason, as if the west coast numbers weren't counted. But being preempted on the West Coast in Los Angeles (2) and San Francisco (6) would have a potentially bigger impact on the final ratings then being preempted in Miami (16) and Pittsburgh (23). Beauty and the Beast was preempted in Sacramento. Baseball was shown instead running during Beauty's normal 9 -10pm pst timeslot. The Sacramento station advertised that the finale would air later that evening starting at 11pm pst but it didn't actually start until 11:40pm pst so anyone who programmed their DVR's from 11pm-12am only got the first 20 mins. of the show.

Regarding Anna's comment I have an idea that keeps in my mind for a long time. It is about a trending event addressing a Greek channel to buy BatB but please guide me as to where should I post my ideas. what channel are u thinking of? and buy?? with what money?? lol ... they are all showing s..t at the moment!! I was thinking about our "Cw-esque" channel, STAR Channel which aims at young audiences and during the weekends airs or has aired many CW shows. From Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill to Smallville (all seasons!), Secret Circle, Hart of Dixie etc. Currently it airs Nikita on Saturdays and Sundays but after midnight there is Supernaturals's 7th season and Fringe (love it!), plus the summer schedule starts on Monday the 14th. Actually I came up with the idea when I tweeted to Brennan Brown about watching him on Person Of Interest (which airs every night at 9pm) and the channel immediately favoured and retweeted me. So, I thought if we could trend asking for BatB to air, that would be noticed and who knows? Maybe Greece is a small market but it is an international market after all. Take a look at the shows they air www.star.gr/tv/el/Pages/SeriesIndex.aspx?page=1
