We need a bit of a break from campaigning, but we don't know how we will do in the ratings w/ the last 6 episodes. We could do well. Once we know more bout S3 when its gonna start etc and our ratings then we should start campaigning again. We don't know how the new shows will do, and how things will play out. We could get 22 episodes depending on how other shows play out or get another short season. Either way right now im just happy 4 these last S2 6 episodes n S3!

All right. Moving on to the actual speculation thoughts for Season 3. Do we think the Gem will still be around at this point? I can see Vincent wanting to use the gem to try to keep as normal as possible. However, we don't know what long-term exposure could do to him. Also, as of the point that we have seen on our screens at this point, Vincent and Catherine have never lived together. When Season 3 opens, will they be living together? Are we expecting to see a timejump of 3 months or will the season opener pick up right where Season 2 ends?
Plus, VERY interesting to note: in the official Season 3 description, it says "Detective" as to Cat, so even though we now know that Cat will get suspended from the police force, she will obviously have her job back by Season 3. It also means that she is sticking to her original career. Wonder what Vincent will do while she works? Will he still be following behind her covertly? I can see all kinds of potential relationship issues occurring with that. CAN'T WAIT for Season 3!!
And like others seem to have noted, I think the CW presented it to the BATB team that the 13 episodes is basically it for the show UNLESS something else happens ratings-wise. HOWEVER, for those who watched the tv show "Chuck," that show only got a 13 episode order at the start of Season 3. And it was doing well enough to later get the Back 9 order for a full season, THEN got a full Season 4 AND a 13 episode Season 5 finish. So, all hope is not gone. Again, the network doesn't want to totally screw over a VERY dedicated fan base.

You have made so many valid points. If Vincat are free to be together openly by the end of S2 and obviously Vincent is no longer legally dead, I wonder what he will be doing. I cant see him being happy to live off/mooch off of Cat. So what kind of job will he get if any? Will they be employed by FBI as an agent? I'd like them too to move in together. V's gotta get out of the boathouse.

Thanks anapi -season3baby :) for both articles Was loving the first one until I read...'' You also will see the continuation of Tess and JT’s relationship, Gabe pursing Catherine''.......all I could think of was Apart from that I loved the article the same feeling i have right now ? really Gabe ? again ? over and over ? when /if that will ever end ?!!!!!!!!!!! i also don't get what he exactly meant by ( pursing ) did he mean to put her under pressure to get to Vincent or to continue their love story which exists only in his delusional mind ?! if its the first ? shame on you Mr .Perfect fight Vincent like a man and leave his woman out of this ! and if its the second so wake up from your delusion and stop forcing yourself on a woman doesn't love you and never will ! for God sake she dumped you for an unemployed beast while your called (relationship) is still fresh ! what that could mean ? simply that they share something your can't compete with even with your normal beast free life , your powerful position , your fancy trips or any fancy staff your money can buy --- and that thing which beat all that is called ( True Love ) so take it like a real man , save your dignity and wish her happiness with the one she deeply in love with and choose him but of course for our torture you won't do it ok then remember you ask for it , so you will have to deal with all the consequences and you have no one to blame but yourself , i will just wait to see your body float on the river ( as on the common said) ! again dear like button i really really miss and need you

Good Morning Beasties
So I went back and read KK interview for Season 3 (x2) and I have to say I'm not getting the sense in KK words it's the last 13 episodes. KK mentioned she has a practical point of view of things and I think that's what she meant. It seems to me that the CW tends to only renew show for 13 episodes at a time and based on how things go from their whether you get additional episodes. The CW is really known for doing stuff like this most of the time which in my view is a huge pain in the butt and why most shows don't last very long on the network. Getting back to what KK said, I feel she is keeping an open mind to what can and will happen because she has been her before and nothing is etched in stone. In their line of work nothing is ever guaranteed and I feel she realizes this hence her choice of words. I honestly believe she really enjoy working on this show (hence the chemistry she and Jay have on screen which seems so real in my eyes). I think KK is true to herself and understands how things work in this line of work sometimes not knowing maybe for the best that way you don't see the END insight just yet.
I think she does a is great in this show and would follow her on any show she will do in the future because I feel she is that good and has the talent to be even bigger. Trust me I would love nothing more to have additional seasons of "Beauty and the Beast" to watch but also understand that things can't last forever that TV right?
With that said I'm so excited see what season 3 will bring, I just hope the writers get it his time and stop all the non-sense stuff like what happened in some of season 2 and why we lost viewers because of situations that just didn't sit very well with fans including me.

Um...by the way she worded things I don't see a season 10 ...something in the interview rubbed me the wrong way. ..not the interview per say more the 'wording' i said the same in a pm.... seems to me that that is it from the wording! that is the exact feeling i got specifically something KK said adn something Matt said Me 3 on this. It sounds to me that some1 may not want to do another season. JMO They seem a little to set on the #13 without any reference to the possibility of a full order. There seems to be no optimism for that, like it is a done deal. So they are closing it out. And in all fairness the show has been all over the place and it may be too late for a real direction to click with a new audience especially since I feel like season 2 was like a repeat of season 1 in may ways thus far. (by design) And this show feels so far off from what KK signed up for and what was depicted in season 1 and the ladies she worked with are practically gone leading to some dismayed beasties. She has to be reading the script sometimes in amazement like what? The characters are so different. KK is very smart I'm not so sure if BATB 2.0 was successful but it may be too early to tell so I'll be optimistic for the rest of this season to play out first but KK sees what the audience sees too. Bottom line not many shows could pull off a re-start like they tried to this season so that is the practical side but it also has everything to do with the writing IMO and the story progression. Its been at a turtles pace and we barely know more about the mythology than episode 2.1 with 6 episodes left even though we hand on for the Vincat moments etc...It really feel that has been the biggest downfall but still hope it can be turned around. Any way these articles tend to be heavily edited so we could be missing out on some things too so I'll hold my breathe and hope for the best.

HOWEVER, for those who watched the tv show "Chuck," that show only got a 13 episode order at the start of Season 3. And it was doing well enough to later get the Back 9 order for a full season Since BatB S3 is supposed to air at the start of next year, I'm not sure how that would work. Would they continue on into the summer? How did it work with Chuck? Did the Back 9 follow immediately after the first 13?

Literally, with "Chuck," they were thinking that the 13 episodes for Season 3 was going to be the end that they actually had all the storylines resolved in episode 13 AND got the main couple together. Then found out about the back 9. So there was a hiatus, if I remember correctly, like there usually is with BATB in between the beginning and end of the season. And they decided to keep the leads together when they came back and proved you could actually get the main couple together and keep the audience (yes, BONES did this as well, but "Chuck" did it first). They still threw challenges at the couple, but there were never any more third parties mess. I would LOVE to see BATB do the same.
((And can I also just add here that the last "third party" to come between Epic Chuck and Sarah was Kristin Kreuk's character of Hannah!!)) There is a commentary on one of the Chuck DVD sets that the writers NEVER (other than Season 4, I think) had a full season order of episodes for any season and so constantly had to deal with multiple arcs per season that got resolved mid-season only to have Bigger Bad Guy come forward for the back 9. It made for an interesting take on a show: you didn't get those "filler" episodes that often happen during a season due to the 22 episodes used to forward a storyline. Thus, there are many potential "benefits" to BATB by breaking up the season into the first 13 episodes and the back 9. And we also shouldn't forget that shows like "Sleepy Hollow" and "The Following" always have less episodes a season due to the cost of production.
