In the I told you so department: this morning Mark Pedowitz said 8:35 AM ET: "One reporter wondered why Pedowitz had renewed Beauty and the Beast but not Tomorrow People, which did better numbers. Pedowitz reminded the reporter he’s always said CW was a “very different type of broadcaster” and ratings aren’t everything. Beauty and the Beast has “great upside potential for our audience.” It’s a great business model in that the series works in the international marketplace as well as digitally, etc. Tomorrow People was a “really, really good show” but “just didn’t have the same level of social engagement or digital that Beauty and the Beast had,” he said. www.deadline.comIn other words "international marketplace" means: huge number of non-US Beasties. "Digitally" means: online viewing does count, and "social engagement" means: huge, huge number of Beasties on Twitter and elsewhere. In more other words: number of Beasties won the day. I found it hilarious that after Mr. Pedowitz said ratings aren't everything, the reporters basically fell silent. They should line up with all those who confidently predicted the show would be cancelled. Clueless.

That's what MP meant by what he said....international....social and digital viewing was key..ratings don't matter..didn't I say that a long time ago? Didn't Reyna and I say that the show is a good money maker overseas? Didn't I say that online viewing g such as hulu, netflix, and CW site counted? It's what got a renewal and the fan base cause indirectly and directly that's what MP meant Now I'm so glad we sent him the cookies and brownies the man truly believes in the show and in the fans. He proved that season 3 is testament of that
