btw did anyone see the pilot script someone once posted cause it's written that V's name in there is "Koslow" and they changed it later ..very funny. It must have been a tip of the hat to Ron Koslow who created the 1987 Beauty and the Beast. The current series is based on the earlier one. In the earlier series Catherine Chandler was called "Cathy" by some but Vincent had no last name, as I remember.

yeah I thought so too. I remember the original series well I always watched it as a child. and it's funny cause when I read the first time about it I thought wow finally they will repeat it after a very long time. so I was really surprised it was a new one. but I love it even more than the first one.
maybe Ron Perlman would be guest starring in it, who knows.

I saw Linda Hamilton on an episode of, I think it was, Lost Girl. So she is working again. Ron Perlman is insanely busy so that might be a problem for a cameo.
But it would be a lovely surprise - either one or both.
I remember in an interview KK said in Season One there were some tip-of-the-hat moments to the 1987 series. So I watched a couple of seasons of the earlier show but I'm not sure I caught them. Vincent and JT hiding out in the tunnels below the city, of course.
There was one episode in the 87 series with a masquerade ball. It was Halloween and it was the one night where Vincent, who is permanently-beast, could come out and walk around among people. It was charming.
