I certainly agree.
Thinking about 01x22 makes me remember something that has always bothered me. During that episode Vincent is cured by Gabe's pills but Catherine interrupts the transition by giving him a shot of a vaccine. During Season Two they never return to the idea that they had found a way to cure him. I realize he was a different Beast by the beginning of S2 but still - they once had stumbled upon a cure.
And that makes me think about Season Two (off topic completely here). The theme was supposed to be "Who Am I?" and Vincent certainly goes through that arc. I no longer grumble about S2 because I can see how much he grows by the end of 02x16. But what bothers me is there is no corresponding growth on the part of Catherine. At the beginning of 02x16 she is still saying "I'm with Gabe". She wakes up about her romantic relationships by the end of the episode but I can't really say she has grown over the season. In fact I think less of her by now than at the end of S1 / beginning of S2.
Her problem is being out of touch with her feelings so easily. I hope they can make some transition over the remaining episodes to show some personal growth. At this point the season seems one-sided.

At this point the season seems one-sided. actually that's a very good question , they just discuss the idea of cure him by causing his death or causing his heart to stop to kill his beast side then relive his human side , but they didn't do it because its too risky and didn't work with any beast but Gabe , but why Gabe instead didn't offer to give him some of his pills to try it again ? it is less risky and doesn't require him to be dead ?! who knows why they didn't get back to this topic again ? maybe they just forgot about it like they forgot a lot of things happened in season 1 ! as for the colored part i agree , Cat until the last part of e16 was out of touch with her feeling , but i see she did that on purpose after she got hurt badly by Vincent , so maybe she thought if she shut down her feeling and stop listen to her heart and let her head take control she wouldn't get hurt again ! like vampires when they turn off the feeling button because if the feel nothing they wouldn't get hurt ! but now as she and V are finally back together and she finally listen to her heart and let it take the control over her life ? now i think we will see her like she was in the end of s1 open and honest to her feeling , and see her make some real personal growth

I certainly hope so. I admire Catherine - at least most of the time.

Bill the beast and raniamahd, I will have to go back and check, but I believe JT had told Vincent that if he stopped the transition and reverted back to being a beast, it would be forever. JT didn't seem to believe that the pills could work a second time around.
