I do, remember, Hart of Dixie needed to outperform the Carrie Diaries in ratings. As of late, it has been performing the same, slightly better. Despite being in its junior year, it really can go either way. On top of that, if the network does grant short seasons to “The 100” and “Star-Crossed”, there really would be no purpose in renewing Hart of Dixie, as it would receive a short order no matter what.

Oh come on now! We got TWO seconds of season ONE promo scenes. Don't be greedy! We should be grateful that they put us in the same promo vid as their legitimate kids. Could they friggin' spare them? I try not to get ticked off with them ignoring us anymore, but I just can't help it sometimes! I know TVD & SPN bring them lots of money (I think!), but how about promoting our poor little show as well? Okay, I'm going into a spiel again...

The deciding factors would be production costs and revenue. Looking at from this perspective as well, given how much the network has on the table already, would the network really want to renew Hart of Dixie for only six episodes? Moreover, the fan base appears to be relatively minimal compared to the others and ours.

They have a show with a good-looking leading lady and man who just ooze chemistry and are in an "epic" romantic relationship. They could select clips that showcase their romance, their chemistry & sex appeal, and the action to entice their pea-brained base to give BATB a shot instead of showing them the BS they're already watching over and over again. Seems to me you pay some attention to the shows needing the promotion rather than the ones that don't. But...That's. Just. Me.

AArrggggg!!! I'm so mad!! so so maaadd!! Why so mad? Looking at the programme, can't see any other CW show attending apart from SC. Expect everyone else, including BATB cast are too busy filming. Just my opinion, of course Definitely a huge relief. where can i see the programme?

If the production costs for Star-Crossed are less than Hart of Dixie, the network would be losing money. Yet, given Hart of Dixie has been sold to other countries, there has been no word on how well it performs overseas. Bearing this in mind, if it is performing well, I can see the network renewing it, however in not, it would become a risky strategy for the network.

...at the end, the only thing that matters to all of us in getting a Season 3...and the more you discuss ratings, the more I am convinced that Reyna and Yolie are right...we have a Season 3; they just want us to sweat a little and, more importantly, they just want to continue getting more roses! LOL

it annoys me when people make assertions and misrepresent facts discussion on spoilertv Brandy Danforth Fede • 5 hours ago Back in Feb Reign was stable at 0.6-0.7 after premiring at 0.8 while TTP premired at 0.9 and by 14 episodes later had gone to 0.4,loosing half it's audience.Reign is a network fave, has better word of mouth, buzz than TTP, does better than TTP in a18-34/W 18-34& at times was doing better than TTP in DVr and Reign was/is the fourth most streamed cw show.Ive also heard that TTP has lost half it's viewers in the UK too.Reign improved its timeslot ( by getting slightly better ratings there than BatB did last season and secondly by decling less than anything in that slot in a few years)also while TTP didn't and was moved for underperforming after a high rated and very compatible leadin.Reign makes more ad revunue for CW too.An 0.4 out of 0.7 isn't that bad considering nothing on CW this week or last week got above a 0.9.TTP has also fallen to 0.3 and under a million viewers while Reign hasnt.Further, Reign grew out of its lead in in total viwers this week(like TTP did)& usually matches or grows out of VD repeats-at least it did when both were repeats-..It's spring and almost everything on the networks and CW are way down.Plus,TTP,CD,HoD,SC,BatB, weren't and aren't doing better than Reign. Also Reign won a PCA.Reign was also the fifth highest rated cw show til The 100 i thinkand networks usually renew thier top five shows.Since late Oct to Feb Reign did better than TTP for all but four weeks of that time.Between Oct & Feb Reign performed at 90% of CWs scripted average. 3 • Reply•Share › Avatar anna Brandy Danforth • an hour ago batb did better last year than reign does. reigns season average is 1.60 batbs was 178 • Edit• Reply•Share › Avatar Brandy Danforth anna • 22 minutes ago Wrong.Pedowitz even said Reign grew/improved its timeslot.Plus BatB started at 1.2 and by episodes eight got 0.5s ,and had already lost half it's audience.Months ago, someone posted BatB/Reign comparison and Reign was doing better, • Reply•Share › Avatar anna Brandy Danforth • a minute ago i said that cause i have the info/stats you can see for yourself - it lost more audience but started off higher, ultimately its average viewers were higher and for majority of episodes its viewers were higher. it averaged 0.6 and it did not get ever below 0.5 tvseriesfinale.com/tv-s... tvseriesfinale.com/tv-s...

Clearly, a person who does not know what he or she is talking about, especially when most of the information he or she is referencing is dated information.
