Btw, I was laughing at The CW and CBS not the show. I really don't get it. What's the point of selling the show to more than 10 countries? (I don't know the exact number of countries. pippin is the person who is good with this). If at the end ratings and support from all these countries don't matter then what's the point? What do they give hopes to all these fans? If only U.S will matter. I guess international fans only matter when it comes to voting for the show.

i dont know much about this at all, but many of their shows (not just BATB) are shown and are successful in other countries and i am not even sure how much money they get out of this compared to u.s. advertisers' money..probably less...

I admit I cannot be optimistic here. This season the writing has been confusing, rushed and off the mark. The ratings have been half of the first season. (Even with 2.01, which I thought was good. Maybe lack of network promotion was a serious factor there.) I've been critical of the writers rushing the plot movement and not spending quality time on the emotional moments - something Season One was much better at. But maybe they know something I don't? Maybe they feel they need to cram several seasons into this one. Episode 2.13 seemed like three episodes in one! According to this Deadline Hollywood article - and admittedly this was back on Dec. 12: www.deadline.com/2013/12/cw-shakes-up-monday-in-midseason-hart-of-dixie-to-friday-beauty-the-beast-benched/1. BATB will be paired with the newbie "Star-Crossed" for a romance-themed month, then 2. After March 10, BATB will go on hiatus "with return date for the remaining six original episodes TBD". The SciFi show, "The Tomorrow People", will get its time-slot. Not much room for optimism. The fact that BATB is currently the only TV I watch, that I love this show and vote online like a lunatic and that KK received a long overdue award - probably not relevant. I'm afraid I spend my hopes on the thought that the producers / writers have a contingency series finale in the works that leaves Vincent and Catherine together in some fashion. Bottom line: that's all I ask.

And I have a feeling it will be done in a satisfactory way where we will feel the chemistry and the connection .

When i first saw the trailer, it reminded me of Lost. i definitely think it'll pull a crowd esp in the beginning. so i'm putting my hopes on Star-Crossed to fail instead. but my prediction have been dead wrong before (esp for Reign! ) so i'm just going to hold my breath until i become blue

I guess a "short-order" means a 13 episode season? Better than nothing.
The way the writers are currently cramming 3 episodes in one - not a good thing.
The pace of Season One was much better.

Interesting ... "Those jumping to make assumptions about the rest of The CW’s shows shouldn’t. Despite only airing 10 hours per week (and therefore renewing literally half their schedule), The CW’s schedule is still the most fluid of them all going into pilot season. On one extreme, the traditional three new shows in Fall, an effectively airing-in-Fall America’s Next Top Model, and a standard-22-episodes-for-syndication renewal of Hart Of Dixie would mean The CW would be done with renewals for the season. On the other extreme, a scheduled-for-Summer ANTM, a Hart Of Dixie that does so disastrously on Fridays this Spring that it gets a partial or no Season 4 order, and a pilot crop that turns out so poorly The CW only airs two new shows in Fall would mean The CW would renew three or more of The 100, Star-Crossed, The Tomorrow People, and The Carrie Diaries. It is just too early to say with any certainty, though at this point I believe Hart Of Dixie gets a normal episode count renewal and The CW renews one other show, probably The 100." tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2014/02/16/bubble-watch-what-do-cws-renewals-mean-for-the-tomorrow-people-the-100-and-the-carrie-diaries/237366/?utm_campaign=WP%20%3E%20Twitter&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitter
