I am gathering a list of known spoilers so you can come back as reference since sometimes speculating and spoilers get confusing. Continue discussions here Here's what we know so far: Episode 2x14 Redemption1. Episode opens with a funeral 2. “Beauty and the Beast” is giving Vincent a blast from his past in the form of a mentor played by Christopher Heyerdahl. The prolific genre actor will join the show for episode 14. Heyerdahl’s character is Dr. Nicholas Markus, a doctor at Vincent’s former hospital and the Beast’s one-time mentor (as reported by TVLine). Dr. Markus and Vincent (Jay Ryan) will meet at St. Benjamin’s Hospital when Vincent tries to save a person there. Whatever happens between the two men could spell the end of Markus’ career. 3. Ted Whitall who plays 'Reynolds' will make an appearance in this episode 4. JT breaks the bro code to Cat in The Gentleman's Club 5. in the Houseboat with a half-naked Vincent this afternoon. Steady yourselves ladies. Cat drops by for a chat. (Roger Finely twitter) Episode 2x15 Catch Me If You Can1. Norma Bailey is directing eps 215-our 2nd female director this season 2. @caracostumes: \#beasties should be happy 215 giving you what you love Episode 2x161. Another ball type of episode ..This one at The AGO art Gallery in Ontario which is the location of this event in which Catherine and Vincent will supposing be attending...Or seems Catherine will once again wear a ball gown and Vincent a tux 2. What have I missed?
Didn't the show say in 2x11, that the gem was stolen and murders committed in London? Wasn't that were Rebecca was investigating? So why are the beast team, looking for a dungeon in New York?
In 2x01 Vincent was put in shackles, designed to be stronger than S1 beast Vincent could break. S2 Vincent had been amped-up, and he just broke them to pieces, and yet was unable to break out of a two hundred year old cell? Are Mirefield beasts weaker than ancient beasts? The metal work didn't look that advanced.

I liked the article and I thought she was very accurate. This season's story has been all about Vincent......and Catherine, for the most part, has been collateral damage. The love story has been decimated. Now we are in a rush to redeem Vincent and in the process salvage the VinCat relationship.

Being a total VinCat shipper I find it difficult to decide the following I see/ feel /felt absolutely no chemistry between Vincent and Tori and none between Cat and Gabe Is it because there is none or is it being deliberately played/acted that way? Are the actors failing to deliver or is it with deliberate intent

The lack of chemistry was played to make the audience see that, no matter how right the person Catherine or Vincent are with, they're not the right person. Which makes me even more confused as to why this storyline was even introduced in first place.

I think the biggest problem presented in S2 is that Vincent isn't trustworthy. Sorry, I know it might look like I'm bashing him, but I don't know another way to put it. So, please, don't be offended.
But all that I can understand from the story so far, and that includes things that happened in S1, is that Catherine can't rely on him when she really needs it, when the matter at hand is big enough to break them apart.
Last season, there was all the not really solved Alex drama. After that, Vincent still was constantly trying to pull away from the relationship every time something happened that could expose Catherine. I know it's noble, but it's also very unsettling. It makes seem like he's ready to pack and leave at any minute.
This season, his missions always came first. Here he had the excuse of memory loss so it can be overlooked, but it's still in the pattern. Then, he pulled away when Reynolds told him to. After that, he wasted no time on replacing Catherine for the next warm body without even the excuse he had of a lost love like Alex. The worst of all was that he didn't even like Tori as a person. It makes look like everything is fair game to him.
So, how can Catherine ever think about trusting him again? How can she be sure that he won't follow the next she-beast and her “primal attraction” without looking back again? Most importantly, how can the writers make me believe that?

^ Hmmm... I don't think that's bashing. It's a fair point. I think he's more unpredictable that untrustworthy but you still raised some very good points here.

Most importantly, how can the writers make me believe that? no i think u are right in many of the things u are saying he definitely needs to prove himself to both us and catherine i think episode 12 was a step in the right direction but we need to see him "man up" more and be confident about what he really wants and fight for it. regarding reynolds and the tori arc i would say he was in a state (we know why, so wont repeat here) so I can forgive him for that provided he can show me how he has learned from his mistakes...i also want to see him being more assertive about his love and the fact that he will be by catherine's side no matter what and leave aside his insecurities and not worthy arguments that also made him unreliable in season 1
