I'm glad to have entertained but I really wasn't trying to be funny. Here's what I'd tell Cat if I were Vin. "You're sleeping with some slimy lawyer who you're not in love with, you come over here last night and we have a terrific time, and then you call me the next morning and tell me it was a MISTAKE? I love you, but don't call me or come see me again until you get your head figured out!" I got you. But after everything he put her through he should tone it down, right? Just saying.

According to Gabe's last line, are we supposed to assume that Gaberine are done? He actually meant that he thought that the 'Vincent' issue was resolved. ..hence why he said the last line lol...I think he knows he has his throat in the ringer and knows that GabeRine hours are numbered. Gabe just thinks that because they arrested Sam that the beast stuff would go away or be gone too thus the disappointment that he escaped and therefore he assumes this will be prolonging the Gaberine problems (as if that is all there is) and having to be around Vincent. It is obvious to me that at this point he does not know that VIncat spent the night together and that she is hiding it and has not come clean about it. She was suppose to have told Vincent as Gabe's ordered (LOL) that he can not be around so in the latter statement he is lamenting that Sam being out will inevitably keep Vincent involved in their lives and that he was thought they were done with that too. I'm just wondering if this is before or after the ball.

THe only downer about this whole thing is that at the ball which we know is probably taken up a good portion of the middle to ending of the episode is that Gabe still does not know that Vincat spent the night together because he is still telling Vincent to leave Cat alone when he would be gone if he knew they slept together or at least you would think. Redic sneak peaks. Who cares about Gabe lets see some VIncat convo or passion. Its amazing these PR people have PR jobs. What were they hired by Disney or Nickelodeon?

I'm secretly hoping the Gabe/Cat scene in the car is on the way home and that Cat tells Gabe "enough with calling Vincent a beast, he is also human" and actually sticks up for him and then to "take her home,it's over" among other things. LOL And.......hopefully Vincent is waiting for her there. It's my dream anyway. But I will alway be stuck on them actually sleeping with other people in a span of a few nano seconds but I suppose there is a reason for that too.

Okay, I have to just say this. I don't want the writers to waste one dang minute of this episode of Gabe finding out what happened at the boathouse. I mean, really, we only have roughly 42 minutes of episode. Every moment on the Gabe/Cat break-up just takes away from VinCat goodness. Does Gabe really need to find out about this for him to be gone? Supposedly, Cat has been "living" with Gabe, although due to her reaction about the key, I seriously doubt that Cat has brought any of her clothes or actual belongings over to Gabe's. She has not edged out half of Gabe's stuff from his closet yet. Cat's conversation with Tess in the last episode at the precinct about the key shows that Cat ISN'T interested in rest-of-your-life stuff yet with Gabe. It is clear that she recognizes that the key means more to Gabe then to her at this point. And to Gabe, the key actually only means ownership of a new coveted possession. He tells Vincent that Cat is living with him, but he certainly doesn't mention that she balked at actually taking his key. And we all know how Catherine immediately took Vincent's key after just one kiss ((remember JT's adorable comments when Cat shows up and lets herself in for the first time? "Look who got her own key." And also, "you're seriously going to go with that?" when Cat says that she has come over to spend some time at the warehouse doing "nothing" with Vincent.)). And Gabe is so unsure about this relationship that he goes to Vincent to tell him to stay away from Cat since he can't even trust that his ultimatum to Cat will do the trick. We know where Cat's heart actually is and so does Gabe. He tells Vincent to stay away from Cat at the ball, and Vincent replies, "or what?" If Cat ultimately leaves with Vincent, Gabe doesn't need to know the actual details of it. He isn't blind (now controlling, petty, and vindictive--we all know he has been those in the past and has shown them in the present. Just makes for interesting future episodes in how far he will go to take vengeance on Vincent.). Really, Gabe would just use the boathouse incident against Cat by trying to keep her through guilt. So no, I don't think we need to have Gabe find out about the boathouse and waste screen time on it. Just my two cents worth as I want as much Banana Republic time as possible for VinCat during this episode. I have my Iced Tea waiting right by the television remote.

alwayscrazedbatbfan, I will give David, the police psychiatrist, a call so he can set up an appointment with Catherine to help her get her head straight before the ball. That way you can enjoy this episode with several gallons of iced tea to keep cooled down. ;-)
