^ Well I wouldn't say I'm okay with things when I'm not - but I do think there are others in the fandom who would do that… I'm not pointing fingers, but I do think there is a bit of that going around lately. I think people would do that because they fear cancellation. Period. Full stop. I would rather have two good seasons than 5 craptastic ones. I'm a realist about the situation. I will support the show, but I draw the line about lying about how I feel about creative choices they make. To me, Tori was a bad choice, all the way around, particularly how they introduced her. It almost made me quit the show. Good creative choices peak your interest and draw you in, not make you wish you had never watched a show to begin with… I'm not interested in Tori, or her backstory, or anything else about her… And because of all those articles and statements issued earlier in December before they went on break, all of which talked about how interesting it would be to see Vincent and Catherine separately exploring and finding themselves individually and by "pairing up" with others… I knew there would be several episodes post hiatus that would be hard for me to watch… I can't be positive about things just for the sake of promoting good feelings in the fandom. Anyway, I'm glad that I'm in the minority and that others feel optimistic. I would just like to fast forward through the next three or four episodes… I feel like they have given us a pretty good sense about what is to come, and I'm dreading almost all of it. Exactly. Most of them are the ones that call themselves "true beasties". I don't know how a person can be "true" hiding behind lies.

My logical mind demands a purpose for Tori - her father was Trump rich with his own private security that knew he was a beast. He made enemies because of his business dealings. The danger to Tori could be from that - and why isn't her father's security protecting her? Someone that rich does research before they invest - what info is in those files she now has access to? Marz, I like the way your logical mind works; you had posted something interesting some time earlier I had intended to comment on, and then it escaped my mind. I hope I welcomed you to the forum! I am being fascicious about Tori; I also hope she has a purpose; and you might be on to something.

lol lol lol having said that, i also like the angst and i dont want to skip the next four episodes. i want to see them grow close again, the slight animosity in the beginning, the yearning, all that angsty stuff not sure how long that is going to last for in terms of episodes but really looking forward to that bit having said that, I do think that this was their intention from the beginning to be fair, break them up in the first arc, starting to get them closer in the second arc and then them together sometime in the third arc fighting against whoever it is. btw, the fact that they will more than dance does not necessarily mean that they will be together....lets see... Maybe. I think their intention was to have them apart as long as they could “to attract more viewers” and/or as long as necessary to erase S1 completely. Since they'll put Vincent in a talk show, I don't think they aren't still working on the erasing part. I think it's save to say that we'll never know. Either way, I still think they didn't need to stoop as low as they did to break VinCat up. As I said before, there's enough drama surrounding them to resume on making Vincent a cold and hatable man and Cat a weak and hypocritical woman. I agree. To me, their intention is really erase S1 and work over character assassination. They took S1's fans for granted and didn't care if they would accept this downgraded version of the characters that made the fans fight for the show. Unfortunately for us, beasties, they played with fire and got severely burned.

Wait a second.... so if I don't HATE season 2, last 2 episodes, Tori, Brad Kern, the writters and all those things you both do hate I'm a lier??! I may not like V kissing Tori, I could prefer another ways to enhance V's beast side and keep VinCat separate, I definetely prefer to "enjoy" the lovey dovey of VinCat and many small details from s1 but I also see great improvements in s2, understand where writters wanted to bring the story (with more or less success), try to watch the show with an open mind (even when it hurts) and the same way you can't help feeling horrible and disappointed with season 2 I DON'T feel the same way. Why your way of feeling and seeing s2 is more valid than mine? Why seeing things in a more positive way implies being a lier?? I won't even comment that I, as one of those "others" who don't see things like you do, could feel offended by being called "lier" by 2 members of our fandom. I try to respect your opinions although I may not agree with them. Why can't you just do the same without implying that we are hypocritical and liers just because we don't share your POV?

Okay Matt I know your in here somewhere! LOL
You are killing us MAN!!
On Beauty and the Beast, to what extent (if any) will Gabe’s feelings for Catherine bother Vincent? –Mac From what I have seen thus far, Vincent hasn’t picked up on his potential rival’s scent, yet – being busy fighting to stay alive and all. But given how the winter premiere ends for Cat and Gabe, it’s probably just a matter of time.

I try to respect your opinions although I may not agree with them. Why can't you just do the same without implying that we are hypocritical and liers just because we don't share your POV? Whoa! I did not call anyone in the fandom a liar - I said that I cannot push down my own personal feelings for the sake of being positive - something I only suspect others may have done. I certainly didn't point fingers at anyone. It is just a feeling or a hunch - not something I would say anyone specific is doing. I mean, I think we may have all been in the position before of trying to see the good when we did not particularly like what was going on - but in this case, specifically, I said that I just can't do it. The fact that I feel like others might have done that is not accusatory towards anyone specific. I'm sorry if it sounded like that is what I meant. We all want to be positive for the sake of the show and the fandom, or at least I think we do… What is true, for me personally, is that I can't do it when what I feel is totally the opposite of that… I'm supporting the show, but not some of the choices they have been making lately… Anyway, I hope that makes sense. ETA: I could give the example of the Alex story arc as a time when I tried to stay positive despite things that I didn't like happening, tried to look past it to the good stuff that was coming… That's really hard for me to do right now. I'm down the rabbit hole, and it is hard to climb back on the happy train. I think it is nice that it is lonely down in this rabbit hole though :-)

So there is kiss between Gabe and Cat, right? Believe me, that's make sick too. I can only give explanation that Cat is weak due to what happen with Vincent. That's a moment of weakness for me and not a reason love interest. Only by Gabe side maybe but this cannot be survive between them. They are totally different.
