WHAT THE SAM HILL IS GOING ON................... We don't even have Official Episode Descriptions for the next few episodes.........are they doing rewrites and they don't know? I mean we keep getting things like "Beasties will be happy...."........."Epic"........"...fill in the blank"..........I had a feeling that since we were getting NO SPOILERS or Descriptions, etc. that something wasn't right!! This is a sad day and the reality is that they can't afford to keep making this show even if it moves to another station or gets a Summer showing. It is expensive to choreograph fight scenes, film on location/NYC, and CGI Beasts........... This Hiatus just got longer and sadder................ Can they just condense the Tori episodes and just write in more VinCat? Let's end on a Happy Note!! Please................. Okay suzieq I checked this before writing this post. It doesn't mean anything that we haven't gotten spoilers or stills or descriptions yet. The first thing released for Seeing Red was the episode description on January 2 then two days later on January 4 we got the official images that's 17 days before Seeing Red aired. So we can't really go by that assunption. Although I agree rewrites are in the works but not for the episodes done already but those that are yet to be filmed.

Really? Then explain to me why the show lost half the audience on the 1st episode! Explain to me why a lot of fans gave up the show as soon as Tori was announced! You can lie to yourself all you want, but the fans abandoned the show because they wouldn't stand to see another Alex arc, which is exactly what this ridiculous plotline is, as much as people here try to convince themselves it isn't. The show runners knew very well that the fanbase they had wouldn't support a love triangle and they still did it, clearly telling the fans that they didn't care to lose them. If you don't care about your fans, your fans will eventually stop caring about you. the ratings havent changed much since episode 1, they were really low then, they are equally low now I'm talking about S1 fans. We had a lot more viewers back then. This excuse of time slot is laughable. I saw a lot of people giving up due to the announcement of a "temptress" to Vincent. No one signed up to this show to see Vincent running after the first one that came into his sight, exactly like he did with Alex. I thought about not watching this new season myself, but I was naive enough to think that TPTB wouldn't betray its fanbase like that. I wish now to have followed my first impression. This whole thing was a primal error. One would think the people behind this new season didn't have any experience before the show. If you don't want the fans you have, you should, at least, look for other fans before stabbing them on their backs.

^ First off..I don't think we'll no I know that the idea of giving the show a new direction wasn't intended to doom it...I believe the idea was to get new viewers to actually save it. BUT I think it backfired on them. I don't think a company and network would put so much money into bringing better sets..stunt coordinator and over all production to want a show to fail. They wanted to give it a manly appeal and in the process they messed with what worked to begin with. It was a strategic move that instead of leaping forward pulled the show backwards.

Just read the news! Guys, PLEASE, PLEASE don't give up yet! We need to fight till the very end! Even if a 3rd season is a long shot to happen at this stage, remember, miracles DO happen.

I too believe they didn't do it on purpose. The whole "new direction/demographic" thing was just counterproductive. I'm still keeping my fingers and toes crossed (BATB has had me tangled for a while now ) that everything is gonna work itself out.

We don't know for sure so there's still hope, as thin as it is.
I wish I was wrong when I thought that S2 ruined our show and our chances to have a continuation for the story we fell in love with, but it seems like I wasn't.
And TPTB have only themselves to blame for this possible cancellation.

There was a two week break from March 28th through April 18th in Season one. That would of been the case if a new show and Tomorrow People hadn't been put in that time slot and also Hart Of Dixie got a new day and BATB didnt. Also it's confirmed that the remaining episodes won't return until the summer. I did say a while ago that the crew were already aware..Austin tweeted about 2 weeks ago that things weren't looking good. He did? what did he say?

I have a stupid question to ask but I really don't know the answer. What does TPTB stand for?

I have a stupid question to ask but I really don't know the answer. What does TPTB stand for? not stupid. i've asked the same question before, some time ago. The Power That Be - those people behind the scene; show runners, writers, producers, the network etc
