I think it all depends on how and when Vincent found out the truth about her parents. If he has known all along, then Catherine should be very very angry and filthy with him, but if he just found out recently after being captured in 'HOD' or during 'Trapped' when he had those flashbacks then I think the situation is different and I can understand why he would hide it from the woman he loves

Hummm...I don't know, Zena. Even if Vincent has found out the truth recently (which I don't think he has), it's not like he hasn't had any opportunities to tell Cat. I don't think she'll buy that.

I agree with Liv, either way he kept things from her..as much as it was to protect her he was wrong in keeping it from her...BUT I truly think that he'd known all along.....shortly after afgan or before Vanessa died. I could be wrong but JT and Vincent way before always talked about hurting her and not telling her things...this goes back before Trapped..So he did know something. But then again it doesn't make sense..cause if he started remembering he knew Vanessa in Trapped then how can the writers change that? I dunno LOL...I am so confused right now, I don't know anything at this point. Useless post LOL

But wasn't it Vincent who told Catherine in episode 7 or 8 that he thought there weren't any more lies and secrets between them? I just think that he found out recently ( maybe during Trapped or HOD ). I'm against lying and keeping secrets but with everything going on around them including Gabe, Alex, Evan, Muirfield, Tess, Vanessa's death anniversary and the cure, when was it the right moment for Vincent to tell the woman he loves that everything she knows about her life and family is a lie? It's not easy to say that to someone you love because you know that the truth will probably destroy them I'm not saying he shouldn't ever tell her, but I don't think there was a right moment for it yet

Hope she listens too. Was he taken away in the jacket?
I don't think Vincent has known about the father all this time but did remember recently. Not sure how he could remember that but not Vanessa so I think it was a suppression thingy etc... That being said her real Daddy totally killed Tyler in cold blood, Gabe is having nightmares about him, perhaps he was involved in the mothers murder and Vincent knows and now he is back in the country like he was kept out so Im thinking Vincent thinks he had good reason to think that this guy was a threat to Cat and he is protecting her. He really hasn't had a reason to tell her yet or until Muirfield found out about her. Not sure she will be all too understanding at first. And I really don't think that fake Daddy loved Vanessa or they had a relationship. Its weird. Perhpas it is a casting thing.. I just do not see it. Maybe Cat was made in a p-dish with their DNA then. LOL Something is off with this whole thing. Someone moved Vanessa's body and I don't think it was fake Daddy but someone with a family connection, a sympathizer. There is another player, IMO.

Yolie - I hope she listens too. Vincent could definitely use a new pair of jeans, coat and a collection of wife beaters. curly - I beg to differ. Vincent should have told Cat the truth with or without a reason for doing so. I predict that this secret will be the reason for a separation in season 2. More than Muirfield or the changing DNA. And it sucks big time. By the way, where will Cat/JT/Tess start looking for Vincent?

well, Cat's mom hadn't told her about her real dad and I guess there was a reason for that! I don't think Catherine will be too mad at Vincent for not telling her. I mean he just got captured by Murfield trying to save her and he has made so many sacrifices for her (not that she hasn't of course). i think when she finally sees him she will be so overjoyed and happy that she won't be angry for too long. so I dont think they will separate because of that but they may separate cause the real dad poses a threat

The more I think about it now, the more I'm starting to believe Gabe might survive. Not sure right now if that's a good thing or not...lol, but would be interesting if he tried to help them find Vincent as some sort of act of contrition and as revenge for killing Tyler. I do believe he truly loved Tyler and only said what he did because he knew Vincent would never follow through with his threat. As an added bonus they would have access to his money, resources and contacts. That would come in handy for the search.

So you think Gabe was bluffing when he told Vincent he could go ahead and kill Tyler? Interesting...

So you think Gabe was bluffing when he told Vincent he could go ahead and kill Tyler? Interesting... Absolutely. Gabe knew enough about the kind of man Vincent is. He knew Vincent loves Catherine, that she was his weakness and he knew he would come for her, giving up his own life if that what it took. Not the kind of man to take a life so cold-bloodily.

You may be on to something here, xraygirl. Looking back at the scene, Tyler didn't seem shocked or surprised that Gabe threw her under the bus.

About the *bigger problem* Tess told JT they might have.... If you recall in Date Night , The Tess and Joe convo was interrupted by Mr. Rynolds (REAL DADDY and M) So when Tess saw Catherine's dad tablet and saw the picture of the guy..She knew who he was cause she recognized him from when she left Joe's office and he walked in.
