Yes take what you want from the lily thing but it is used or represents both death and birth/rebirth or resurrection etc...Please don't even get me started on the mythology crap again. When she mentioned celestial birth I almost fell out of my seat. Rumors of mom being alive. Again I do not know what way the are proceeding with the mythology of this series but I have noted the use of 2 archangle names thus far in both Michael and Gabriel. We have medieval/bibllical bent here with possible use of a castle and or maybe a church. The use of a PANTHERhas signifcant mystical and mythological meanings as well as the chimaera. Again the story possiblities are endless then. I'm not say they will go all out there sci-fi but they could possibly be using these motifs for just enhancement. Then again it was Cat who brought up the Scully Molder reference in the early eps. Cat carrying a purple iris in ep 21 could fit in with this too.
PS the white calla lily as significance with the archangle Gabriel.
Forget thats enough LOL.

Or it could just be her moms favorite flower. lol
PSS if he is the one that tells Cat that her mom may actually be alive (real or fake) I will actually fall out of my seat and will explain this statement if it happens.

Lilies are usually the flowers that are bought for remembrance. They are dignified flowers and kind of the go to flowers at funerals and memorandums ... Anyway that is not the point. The point is ... how <edited>*ing sexy is Vincent with or without the coat. It's the way he looks at Catherine and responds to Catherine. The way he protects and loves Catherine, which is what is making this whole experience amazing for me. All that aside ... holy crap, I am in love with Jay Ryan! Just for the record when he was doing did laundry in Catherine's apartment, it was that bloody coat that he was putting in the washing machine. Lol ... just for the record now that BATB is getting a second season and the weather is finally getting a little better here in Toronto, my money is on them having a hot summer, when they start filming the second season. So bring on the sexier clothering and the long summer nights ... personally speaking I will be stalking them where ever they are .. so stay tuned ... I promise you I will find them. And yes I expect them to be hot and me to be on heat! lol In closing ... I am loving being able to see the different aspects of Vincent and seeing Jay playing more then just a one dimensional character. In the second season, I wish to see a stronger and valuable Vincent .. because that is life, us with all our strengths and vulnerabilities. Vincent maybe a Beast but we also want and wish him to still be connected to the man that we wants never to lose touch with. So I raise, a glass to you, Mr. Vincent Ryan Keller. ;-)

I love the way this show can be interpreted, on so many different, deeper levels. Let's just hope there will be no Cane and Able .. LOL!

CrazyforV- English major, lol. I'm not saying they will go that way but writers definitely look for inspiration to draw from when they write. Make a new modern story using Underlining themes or classics etc... People argue about the biblical references and significance in Harry Potter while others just appreciate the story. I like to know the frame work stuff. I have that picture KK put out of the back of the guy in the back of my head of what looked like some kind of very tall church organ or something. It reminded me of stuff I've seen in Italy. I could be way off it's just what speaks to me whether it is significant to the story is another thing but any elements of such being used is plausible even if just a tip of the hat to something. You could not even conjure up what 1/2 of Mumford and Sons songs are about without some knowlege of literary classics but that will not stop you from liking them and what it may mean to you but if you really knew it is very interesting. Geeky much... I say yes to Cane and Able not so much the name but the character, lol.

" CrazyforV- English major" lol ~ I am actually British but used to be a history teacher and now leave in Toronto ( because of hubby)! I accept my background, some times seeps through despite my lust of Jay Ryan being my primary focus! lol ... But you want to talk mythology and where the writers may or may not be coming from ... I guess, I could go toe to toe ... Just for the record I used to teach 15th century renaissance history in the UK. So I have the framework for a good ole healthy debate. And since I do like Mumford and Sons this could get interesting!

Wow that was awesome footage!!!! I need it to be Thursday now!!!!!!! Do you think that it's jealousy that Vincent feels by gabe? I don't think so.. he is an animal mixture so his instincts are for defense and he feels tied down..

Awesome preview.
Let me just say that I think Vincent is H-O-T, but he NEEDS to get himself some new clothes! Or at least a new jacket. I''d be happy If he just took that ugly one off. This is no fashion show, i know, but he is too hot to wear an ugly jacket like that! Catherine, help him, please!

All in good time Vincentfan After all, there is the swimming pool scene and the sparkly white hotel bath robe he wears instead of a coat. (seems it's one extreme or the other for our poor Vincent!) Cheers!
