I say that we all should still vote for the PCA's due to the following reason: it's not over until it is over. "7th Heaven" got cancelled, and then tons of viewers tuned into what was supposed to be the final episode, and due to the viewership numbers, they uncancelled the show and gave it another season. "Family Guy" also was cancelled after 3 seasons. Then YEARS later after the DVD sales were through the roof, the show came back on the air and is still running. Although that is not likely to happen with us at this point, you never know. Any show buzz is good, in my opinion, including another PCA win.
You just never know. Maybe Season 4 finally gets placed at the perfect time in the perfect timeslot. And people actually discover it, and the writers finally get it right. So although the chances for more episodes beyond the Season 4, thirteen episodes is BEYOND slim, there is always that possibility of it being brought back sometime in the future. So I'm still going to vote and hope for another PCA win.
And I'm just thankful for the work that has been done on this show. This little show has certainly meant A LOT to me, so it is worth the time to vote, if for no other reason than to show the cast and crew how grateful the devoted fans of the show really are. So VOTE to show your gratitude. I've certainly enjoyed the show's run. And will love re-watching the episodes for many years to come!

For the CW, it is all about comic books and golden globe winners now. Anything that doesn't fit into that neat little box just isn't their concern. Sigh. I doubt they even advertise it as a summer show, although you would think they would want to, if only to try to break even.
What I absolutely DON'T want is for BATB to be stuck in some timeslot with no publicity at some strange time and place just meant to burn off episodes. (Like suddenly scheduling 6 or 7 episodes on two consecutive Saturdays as a "marathon" without any publicity at all, where no one knows to watch.) But obviously, we won't be airing before the summer, absent some miracle.

More... imagine for a minute that due to this surprisingly won PCA and a correct bunch of publicity a lot of people will tune into BATB when it will air this summer... How the CW can justify the end of the show and not trying with another season? IMO, CW will make everything is in its power to make less publicity, strange air time etc... to have fewer viewer and say proud to beasties that are numbers that speacks for them and cancellation is the only right decision. What bother me is that all this CW dummy things (in this case i have edited myself for other terms...) can affect careers of actors

I have a feeling that they will not bother with a lot of advertisement. There was no increase of viewership from S2 to S3 and the executives know now that it is hard to lure new viewers to this show, especially now that it has been cancelled. Why would anybody START viewing a show in its last season?
They also know that ALL the beasties will advertise amongst themselves about air time, etc., so why should they bother to spend ANY more money on this show?

Anyone know if Netflix licensed season 3? Unless I missed it, Beauty isn't on the list of Netflix's just announced May releases. With all of the original series that Netflix itself is now producing, I was wondering if they were being more selective about which shows they pay to license from the CW, but then i saw that last month they added the CW's short-lived The Messengers. Surely more people would watch season 3 of Beauty than one 13 episode season of the Messengers??

A different take on BATB. Normally the show is praised for its ethnically diverse cast, but not in this article. The title sums up the viewpoint: "ASIAN GIRL KILLS ASIAN MAN TO SAVE HER WHITE DUDE IN DISTRESS" www.kulturemedia.org/entriesdetails.php?iid=96Ummm... ...really?

My god, They obviously didn't bother with a S1 watch or even earlier S2, for background research

If that was the case, I don't think anyone of the cast would have like to be involved in the show! Most of them fight for ethnical equity rights and most of them are in a mixed couple in reality. ah sorry they left behind that a white guy (JT) fel in love with a supposed to be hispanic girl (Tess). I have no word!
