"Please give us a one-word clue about this week’s Beauty and the Beast! — @itslulim via Twitter
Well, it would be cruel – yet accurate – of me to trot out the word “break-up.” But I am not a cruel man, so I’ll just go with “game-changer.” (I assume everyone has heard about the shocking death by now…?) For those who are not @itsluim and are OK with more than one word, you probably saw me tweet, “Oh damn” twice, as I previewed tonight’s episode. One was a sad “Oh damn,” and one was… not. Y’all are gonna be talking about this episode, because in the course of one unpredictable scene I suspect you’ll get more than you bargained for."

Beauty And The Beast Q&A: Nicole Gale Anderson Talks Heather Getting Involved In Catherine Chandler’s Love Life - article
Beauty and the Beast 114: Tough Love | Preview
Dinner and a groovy? A whole bunch of crazy goodness happens in tonight’s episode of Beauty and the Beast including an awkward family dinner, a fall out between two sisters, and danger at the Dubstep nightclub. POPULR had the chance to screen tonight’s episode and below we’ve provided a few scoopy bits from “Tough Love.”
GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNER | After catching Catherine and Vincent together in the apartment, Heather is excited to finally meet Catherine’s mystery man and the two sisters invite “Vincent Zolanski” over for dinner. Vincent agrees to attend to alleviate any suspicions Heather may have of him. Everything seems fine until a fourth guest arrives at the dinner table.
PARTY OF FOUR | Heather seems to be hitting it off with Joe Bishop’s younger brother Darius, whom she invites to join the three of them for dinner. Club promoter Darius has a secret of his own, and when he receives a mysterious text, Vincent hears Darius’ racing heart and suspects he is hiding something.
THE PROOF IS IN THE PICTURE | Vincent may have been at Mr. Chandler’s wedding for just a few minutes, but his attendance has been immortalized and captured in a photo, Vincent and Catherine learn at dinner. Vincent tries to sneak into Heather’s room to retrieve the photo and proofs until he is caught at the doorway by Heather who begins to lose all trust for him. Catherine manages to get the photo but things get more serious when the photo later appears online.
INTERVENTION | After a very questionable night with Vincent Zolanski, Heather teams up with Tess to run his name through the social security database and discovers that he doesn’t exist. The two stage an intervention for Catherine at the precinct’s interrogation room to warn her of his dangers. “He’s hiding from the law,” Heather tells Catherine after she suggests that maybe he had changed his name. Heather and Tess give her an ultimatum to try to save her from her “emotionally toxic” relationship and makes her choose between her relationship with Vincent or her friend/partner and sister.
CREATURE CONNECTION | Evan continues to press Catherine about the creature they had both been in contact with in the subway and the car crash. “It’s like it’s circling you like a predator does to its prey,” he tells her. In fear for her safety, a partnership between he and Muirfield may be imminent. “If you’re not going to protect yourself, I will.”

Ausiello:
Question: I have become addicted to Beauty and the Beast. Please, please, please give me something, anything, and I will love you even more than I do now! —Christina
Ausiello: Tone it down a scosh, Chrissy. Not too much — just a scosh. Maybe lose one of the pleases. Re: B&B, you know the near-kiss that had you throwing things at the TV last Thursday at 9:57pm? You’re gonna get at least one more of those before things starting going sideways again, and swiftly, for Vincent and Cat. (Little sisters, ugh!)

Beauty And The Beast Teasers: Five Things About “Tough Love” - KSiteTV article
Sometimes, TV series like to do “game changer” episodes around the middle of the season to propel a series toward the season finale. The Thursday, February 21 episode of The CW’s Beauty And The Beast is one of those types of episodes, as everything has been building to a certain moment, and just as quickly, everything can crash down into chaos. Certain character relationships will change in Thursday night’s show, and it’s the type of episode that will have “Beasties” anticipating what could possibly happen next.
