Netflix picked up season 4 last week and since I'd exhausted all my binge options, I picked up BATB at episode 2 (I could not bear 401 again). Anyways, I thought season 4 was a zillion times better than season 3, but still not as good as I would have liked (or even as good as season 2 for that matter). For sure there were some amusing scenes and some heart-rending scenes mingled with what had become normal WTF scenes and intense scenes. I was so happy that they didn't waste any time on Vincat babies, cure Vincent's beast or remain in NYC. I didn't like the jump to Paris, Cat's revisited first-class French or 6-month law degree. I thought KK looked fantastic. I'll miss JR's buffness and acting chops; NA's cuteness and fashion sense and AB's portrayal of JT. Heather finally grew on me (even though I thought the romance with Kyle happened at the speed of light and was totally unrealistic). My hate/tolerate/hate relationship with Tess remained intact (although, she had marvelous hair) and it was soooo good to see Marc Singer on television again. Evan's surprise appearance did not alter my opinion of the character, although, the episode he appeared in was a strong one for JR. Having blown through the episodes, I read all of your episode comments because you guys are really good at breaking down character motives and articulating your likes/dislikes. I'm glad that I waited until the entire season aired before watching because I would have been far less kind had I watched week to week. I'm also glad that you guys hung in to the end, especially you alwayscrazedbatbfan ...believe it or not I missed our spirited debates. Au revoir!

ARWENFAN!!!! You FINALLY saw Season 4!!!! (And I was dying to know after I saw 405 what you thought of Evan. . . )
And I JUST mentioned you on another thread when commenting over just WHY (again) I hate "Ancestors" so much. And I SAID that if ArwenFan saw my comment, I would hear it!!! (Basically saying Cat's conduct virtually flawless while Vincent would have deserved a quick kick to his lower backside region for leaving Cat in the embassy. TeeHeeHEE)
Somehow having Vincent and Evan interacting again in 405 was wonderful. Maybe just because it reminded me so of S1. Just had me all happy nostalgic, although I wanted MORE from this episode. Yes, Vincent made a brief appearance on the fire escape, but not with Cat. And that rooftop scene . . . sorry, but I definitely needed more. And Cat just deciding to run off with Vincent near the end in the alternate version. I mean, she barely knows him at all and has just seen her husband die in front of her like her mother did. Would DEFINITELY had been different in reality, but this IS Vincent's dream, so Cat just doesn't need time to fall in love with him---Vincent just considers it a done deal! (MIGHT could comment on Vincent's ego here, but since Cat IS his wife by this time, I shall resist.)
But would LOVE to hear your other overall S4 comments!! (Sadly, I have time now. Nothing good on television anymore. Sob.)
