Now Canadians, watch the pretty VinCat photo drifting back and forth before your eyes.
You are slowly slipping into a deep hypnotic trance. You will do precisely as I say.
You WILL give a play-by-play RECAP of this episode's events, giving particular emphasis to any potential VinCat scenes. You will then ADD commentary. You will be VERY loquatious. LOTS of commentary for my intensely obsessive self that has just hypnotized you. YEEESSSSS. . . .

I literally was on the edge of my seat the entire time! If I knew this wasn't just a tv show ID be really scared for VinCat.
Okay main points
Braxton (graydol) was behind the beast bounty and VinCat take him down, after Braxton puts Vincent through a bunch of tests, which these tests include cat stealing evidence from the 125th. Tess has to arrest her but lets her go with the condition she gets a "bigger fish" Braxton tells V, Cat, Heather, and JT that he did all this and the tests to stop the bigger bad. They don't believe and when Braxton gets taken in, he's killed. Tess show VinCat the body and they conclude Braxton was telling the truth and that there is another big bad out there.
So I have a few questions... Why/how did they conclude or did Braxton think it was another beast? And not someone else just pulling strings? And what's the end game of the other beast or whoever is controlling the other beast. And what was the point of setting V up if Braxton really needed him that bad? Also, did I miss it, when did cat get suspended? I thought Dillon was just praising her for her knack of finding him? Kyle, I don't get him. He's still fishy to me. Pressing heather to move in together? And why did he just randomly show up without Heather to Cats office?
I love the suspense and deseperation of the episode, the pace, but I'm still frustrated that we have just 3 episodes left and they are really essentially not closer to putting this all to rest and we don't know who Braxton was really after.

This episode definitely had a more action detective feel to it! I'm confused..I thought Vincent can tell whether someone is lying or not so to say he was lying and it turning out he was telling the truth :/ Something isn't adding up yet at the same time I get the inkling the answer is in this episode or should I say a main clue. I feel like the answer is almost staring at me in the face and when we find out, it's gonna be like darn it!
My thoughts were all over the place this episode! From Kyle, to the agent, to Braxton! Then thinking maybe there's some Liam connection to it because he's a beast...It's crazy my speculation about the big bad being a beast is actually happening! Gabriel even entered my mind coming back...I don't even remember his ending but he was rich right lol. I don't know even the ones killed off...I'm still speculating coz you never know! The writers can come up with some wacky storyline to their return :/
It did make me wonder whether it's really incidental with the photos on the agents table but if it was her, not sure how to connect the dots lol. Kyle genuinely looked clueless in what's going on...So I have a feeling the writers are trying to trick us with him but I could be wrong :/

I'm talking bout the scene where Cat snatches his towel whilst talking about being exposed and what Vincent does afterwards! He tightened and relaxed the muscles of his bottom in quick succession and they gave off a kind of 'smacking' sound. LOL. Sooooo cute. Do men do this? He looked really pleased afterwards.

I think my mind is in the gutter lol! I was thinking he tightened and relaxed his chest muscles then the smacking sound came from wiggling, well if you got your mind in the gutter you know what I mean lol But I watched it again and your explanation makes sense! Not sure if guys do it a lot? Lol

This was a good solid episode (with a bunch of plot holes, but I will not moan about that too much).
It is 3 days later and we open with total normalcy at IL Cantuccio's with Catherine and Heather talking. Catherine has been suspended for her stint at the cabin. She is drinking tea of all things and she is calm, cool and collected - almost serene - and I go huh? It was such a contrast to where we left off. She tells Heather that they made their decision and they have to let it play out now and there is no sense for her to her all worried. Also, there is a plan B, which is JT surveilling the comings and goings at Graydal in order to find out who the buyer is. Heather tells us that Kyle wants her to move in with him.
Tess is getting herself some coffee and she sees the girls and comes over: awkward situation and Tess tells Catherine to be careful and leaves. JT is feeding the surveillance footage to Catherine's laptop and the girls see that Agent Dylan is pulling up outside for a raid. They run to the Guild.
At Graydal Braxton is greeting the Feds - they have a warrant, but they do not find anything and leave again.
After they leave Braxton goes to a secret part of the building and opens a concealed door. We see Vincent in chains and some diodes on his arms (like the photo we saw). Braxton says he has to find out what kind of a beast Vincent is and tortures him with high voltage current. Then he tells him that he is free to go, but he will be contacted by the buyer via the burner phone he gives him. Braxton taped Vincent beasting out and he uses that to blackmail him into going what the buyer wants.
JT, Catherine and Heather are at the Guild when Vincent walks in. He looks like hell and Catherine and he hug. He fills them in and then the phone rings. Vincent is supposed to steal evidence from the 125th precinct. We get a cute shower scene where we see Vincent's upper body with Catherine watching him. She tells him that SHE will get the evidence. She pulls his towel off and says that he cannot risk 'exposure'. LOL.
Catherine goes to her old precinct and sweettalks the guy at evidence to let her have what she wants for old time's sake and he does. On her way out, she meets Tess who wants to know what she was doing here. They briefly talk and Catherine carefully avoids blatantly lying to her, but it is akward again. Catherine gives the evidence to Vincent who is instructed to give it to a Triad criminal. It is the gun he committed a crime with and if he gets it back the case falls through. Vincent follows the instructions he gets via phone and delivers the gun to Lee - somebody is filming the whole scene.
JT has unsuccessfully tried to hack into Graydal, so now he decides he has to go there and do it from the inside. He picks up Heather to pose as his wife from her dinner date with Kyle. He uses the excuse that an alarm went off in Catherine's office and she has to let the security people in. Kyle looks really suspicious and wants to go with them, but they refuse.
Tess gets a visit from Agent Dylan who shows her photos of Vincent giving the evidence Catherine stole to Lee. Tess goes and arrests Catherine. Without telling her a lot Catherine convinces that she is letting go the little fish (Lee) in order to capture the big fish (the beast buyer) and Tess gives her 48 hours to catch the guy and lets her go.
We see Kyle going to Catherine's off-site office which has been taken over by DHS and is fully staffed and computerized now. Very strange, I mean do they NOT have a whole building with staff and equipment?? Anyway, Kyle just wanders in - so there is also NO security here - and he starts to ask questions. And low and behold the agents do not throw him out, they actually answer his questions. Agent Dylan even tells him that JT and Heather are apparently married and we see them entering Graydal on the surveillance computers. Yeah, yeah, this was done for effect, I know, but it is unrealistic.
Heather and JT are posing a rich couple needing security and they have a meeting with Braxton.
At the apartment Vincent is showing her a bag of explosives he was instructed to pick up from a dry cleaners. They discuss that they are going to draw the line right there and NOT blow up anything. Catherine tells Vincent that she cannot find any money trail pointing to the buyer from Graydal's files and that there were no emails or other communications and then she has the epiphany that Braxton MUST be the guy behind it and that there is no buyer. At that moment they get a call on JT's cell, but it is Braxton who is holding both JT and Heather at gunpoint. He wants Vincent to blow up DHS with the explosives.
VinCat comes up with a plan to have DHS take down Graydal and Vincent is going to lead them there. He tells Catherine that there is an underground tunnel which gives her access and she can come and rescue everybody. Then he goes to Grand Central Station and looks up at the surveillance cameras until DHS is alerted and they start chasing him right to Graydal. Catherine watches Braxton access the secret door and she jams it with a fire extinguisher and follows him. He has Heather and JT tied up but Catherine disarms Braxton and frees them. Braxton implicates himself and JT has everything on tape. Vincent arrives and they lock Braxton in where he had kept Vincent and get out of there. Braxton threatens them with the fact that he has tapes of Vincent beasting out and that DHS will find all that now. Then he tells them that he did not need Vincent to DO something, but to PREVENT something and that there is another breast out there, but without him Vincent will not know how to stop him. Vincent says that he does not believe him (plot hole because Vincent should be able to tell if he was lying or not).
Tess and Agent Dylan talk after the take down of Graydal and Braxton's arrest. Tess is back on my Christmas list because she plants the seed of doubt in Dylan's mind that Vincent is maybe not so bad after all. He DID lead them to Braxton when he could have just stayed in hiding. Dylan is still skeptical, but she is starting to think about it. She says: let's see what turns up on Braxton's computers. Dun, dun, dun, Vincent as a beast might turn up....
VinCat bedroom scene - so beautiful and they are cuddling really close this time. They are contemplating to run away together. Catherine is thinking that there might be another beast, but Vincent is still convinced that Braxton was lying. Knock at the door and they open it without checking who is there first. It is Tess and she takes them to the morgue where the remains of Braxton are. He was mauled and killed by a beast.

It is Tess and she takes them to the morgue where the remains of Braxton are. He was mauled and killed by a beast. Great re-cap. On the couple of plot holes you mentioned, I have some suggestions. Vincent can't tell that Braxton is telling the truth, maybe, because Braxton is very agitated at this point and shouting at Vincent to get him to listen to him. Vincent uses elevated heart-rate to tell if someone's lying so maybe Braxton's heart-beat was elevated for these reasons and Vincent thinks it's because he's lying. The only reason I can see why Vincent and Cat answered the door without checking who it was first is that they knew it was a friend. If it was the NYPD or DHS, don't they have to announce themselves? Also, Vincent tells Cat that he doesn't want to run any more, when they are cuddling in bed and she tells him he should leave because it's not safe for him. So maybe, he thinks whoever it is at the door, he will just deal with it. Thought this was another really great episode. Some very nice VinCat moments amongst the mayhem. Loved Vincent checking himself out in the mirror too and looking pleased with what he saw. And why wouldn't he?

He tightened and relaxed the muscles of his bottom in quick succession and they gave off a kind of 'smacking' sound. LOL. Sooooo cute. Do men do this? He looked really pleased afterwards. Yeah.. I think my mind is in the gutter lol! I was thinking he tightened and relaxed his chest muscles then the smacking sound came from wiggling, well if you got your mind in the gutter you know what I mean lol But I watched it again and your explanation makes sense! Not sure if guys do it a lot? Lol No we do not. And to me, he did a quick swivel like shake of his hips. My impression was that the smacking sound was coming from a body part in the front, not the rear. LOL. I couldn't believe he did that! A borderline ridiculous scene to me. But I'm sure most Vincent/Jay fans got a real kick out of it!

I really don't know what to say about this ep. It moved the plot forward, but another beast? Really? Can't the writers come up with something new? Honestly, I was kind of a let down by this ep. I was really hoping for so much more after the last episode. (I knew I should've kept my expectation bar low on the ground, but my hopes were up after the last ep. LOL.) Poor Kyle, all the guy gets to do is mope around because he's left out of the loop. I wish Heather & Kyle would have had more happy relationship building moments to their story arc. Because this was never shown, except for ep 1, their story just feels hollow to me. Still not sure if he's just a harmless character or if he's tied into of all of this. Could he actually be the beast? The feel of the last 3 episodes have been so wildly different. Ep 408 was a fun and zany caper case, 409 was very dramatic and so serious, and now 410 just feels like we're back to the same ol' ol' S3 formula style of story telling. bbatb - I don't even want to get started on the plot holes. I've only viewed it only once, but there are many things that felt off in this one for me.

[b I think that's what bothered me a lot about the episode is that it's another beast and that I feel like they are pretty much back to square one in figuring out the big bad. I wish we didn't have to go through the writers making us think that 3 people could've been the big bad...hill, Braxton and now another one. I mean it's episode 10 already. And like you mentioned another beast? Seriously? I was kinda hoping VinCat greater purpose wasn't going to be chasing beasts for the rest of their lives.

I called it a solid episode and I meant that in view of moving the plot - just like you said BeastieBoy and I think I was very good for only mentioning 2 plot holes. LOL. Looks like I am really mellowing. Kyle is off my suspect list - too shallow. Agree that his and Heather's relationship is practically non-existent and just made up of maybe 6 minutes of screen time alltogether. But that does not bother me, my eye is on the main event and it bothered me AGAIN that the tender moment at the end was again filled with lots of dialogue. They could have extended this and have Tess just call instead of coming all the way to the apartment. Like I said before in the Sensitive Spoiler section (where you will NOT read it - I know) the writers are giving us more VinCat moments and they are cute and tender, but mostly spoiled with dialogue diarreha - like the shower scene where Catherine just would NOT shut up or the bed scene in the tunnel/dungeon where she is sooo preoccupied with the darn remote. So it LOOKS better on the surface as far as romance goes, but not really.
