I think the same BeastieBoy ! This time Vincent reactions sound a little bit odd because he doesn't seems so desperate. Or maybe he doesn't show that. First I thought he used accupressure point to make the guard faint down, but as expected, the blond tasted his pulse just to make sure it wasn't a fake death. Maybe Vincent was expected that and decided to try hisbest move to save all. I think Vincent was not that happy that Cat killed the blond, I suspect that she had more information that it seems amd Vincent surely could have some kind of influence on her if you understand what I mean... If a man like Vincent want to charm a girl, surely he can do that with no problem, even an assassin girl. I have my personal theory about the mood of the episode: as most of you know I love episode with some sort of comicity (as Primal fear) but this time it catch me in the bad way. I think that writers decided to enlight the episode because the sight of Vincent with another woman in a serous context probably would have made lots of beasties angry. This way you can't take the blond short arc for real neither for one second Hmm. I think I will need to watch this episode again. I am with you on liking the comedy and had a good laugh when Vincent pushed Cat into the pool, but you made a good point about it being a little off. Maybe because with this Graydol entity/beast bounty plot, the scenes should be more serious. The fake marriage setup felt more like a way to show Cat jealous...not true to character or fitting for the forward movement on story. Humor is what Heather and JT bring to the show...at least that is what I feel to be the case.

I was okay with the comedy, it made parts fun and funny, but I do agree that it took away from the overall episode. I know many hated Ancestors because of Tori and VinCat acting mean to each other. But that episode worked for me due to the Mr. & Mrs. Smith like sexual tension between VinCat; I really felt like VinCat could have had angry sex at any moment. Here in this ep, we have a similar heist caper going on, but the Blonde is there more for comedic relief between VinCat. So Cat can get jealous, but the blonde is really no threat to the relationship. The VinCat moments were more romantic comedy instead of sexual tension or real romance, hence I liked Ancestors better than this episode in that regard.

youtu.be/vft4Ayr9Os4Omg I missed this scene! Haven't watched it for awhile! But you can see the difference, I guess why Vincat chemistry doesn't feel the same. But it's hard to compare as their situation is different back then. And I think this was their 1st time, so the writers made a point to make it extra special. But I think there were elements, they could take. Main one being Cat doesn't talk while they are kissing but rather before they make out. But what made this scene so epic was the music, camera angle and how they looked at eachother. I guess for them it would be awkward but I think Jay is used to it from other shows? At least go girls? I guess the difference is he is used to the romance being more light headed, comedy like rather than intense perhaps. And probably it's easier to act out a romantic scene more light hearted than intense. But I hope we can get a scene somewhat like this. I know this scene is hard to beat but before batb ends!

That's the director's cut version, which is even slightly hotter than the original.

Just a random funny chuckle I got from the part in the beginning where Cat is talking to Tess & Heather about her woes: Heather: "And get your happily ever after back." Cat: "What does that mean? I don't even know what that means?" Heather: "Well I don't know, don't look at me, you're the one who keeps saying it." It's like the characters are now starting to make fun of the redundant lines that the writers use over and over. It's like a parody of what's already parody. LOL! Like I said, this episode was bananas!

Well, Pippin was saying that they were implying oral sex in this last scene. It takes some imagination, but it IS possible. It took very little imagination on my part, that's exactly where my mind went (won't blame Zelly this time or Pippin - as I was spoiler free). Thankyou for not blaming my innocent head in this instance . And I too went straight to that thought - easy peasy, imagination at full play. I'm glad we got some fun-sexy bits but geez, I wish we could have some sexy-sexy bits.

I realize I was hoping for more of an episode like Ancestors.

YES YES YES to the first phrase!! How could her talk while he is busy with her body? it is not real :-) In go girls you can see every sort of sex scene from funny to romantic to pure sex but even in other show from the beginning of Neibourghs he did every type of sex scene. I think the problem that make them turn those scenes into a more light ones is beasties' obsession: after S1 everyone asked for JayKris and not VinCat trying to find prooves of their relationship in those scenes. In fact S1 scenes were quite real more than the most part of the same type in other show. Maybe they thought that this way viewers cannot perceive any type of sexual tension between them, real or faked

Good point! So Jay should be an expert then lol!? I don't like to think it has much to do with the actors choice or preference given their experience...Yes it's awkward and probably one of those things that always would be but I like to think we could give them credit for knowing how to be professional about it and deal with it. I mean I could be wrong but at least from Jays side, I didn't get that vibe hearing him in interviews talk about beasties liking the vincat romance. He seems to vouch for the romantic element. I think it's good to have a mix of romantic scenes though...I mean given how tense vincats situation can be, it makes sense to have a light headed romantic scene but it's like the writers are making it light but it's not at the same time because the dialogue goes back to their situation. Personally, it was cute to see once but I think it's more effective to go fully one way or the other in a scene. Lol we so need that scene where Vincent says shut up and kiss me The dialogue about how difficult their life is driving me crazy. Of course it makes sense given their situation they'd do that but still...Lol maybe even Jay is like omg this dialogue again because you can sense the way Vincent reacts it's like come on lol

I remember a question to kk about kissing J or Tom and she wasn't ready for answer (in fact J answered for her putting kk in a more awkward situation) or to J about fans' obsession towards him... he answered with an eye rolling. I mean the last scene would have been just cute if Hitower didn't push our expectations to higher level. I was talking about Jay's face in a FB group... he has the face "i'm kidding you" for all the episode.. and that doesn't fit much with all the situation (even if he is kidding them all) and this is strange coz Jay is always so precise in how he looks

Changing subject... i want to focus on JT. He is the most loyal friend someone could have. Vincent is in trouble so what else he has to do but save him? Yes JT maybe it is your gratest porpouse, helping people in your own way, make them safe. This time the show reminds me of "person of interest"... I think they used the same type of techical equipment.
"What else I have to do? I'm a single unemployed person".. poor JT! JT to Cat "He bag me to make you meet him" ... yes JT you could save VinCat even from their own error.
But Tess's date at the end is real or she manage to let JT know that she could possibly have a date to see if he would try to win her back? we see a bottle beer and a glass of beer but I haven't understand if was the same beer in the glass or Tess ordered two before the guy arrrive. Thinking about how much she was unhappy that JT jus left the bar without fighting for her makes me suppose that was a fake date

Where was the ADA? She had said that they were meeting for drinks there with Heather and Catherine present, but then when JT arrives, he was not there. Actually, my first throught was that he was there, but had gone to the bathroom or maybe he had to take a phone call outside, because you do not order a beer before the person drinking it has arrived. It would go stale! So, I don't really understand what was going on here. Maybe somebody else has an idea?

There was not a lot I liked about this episode but I'll remain optimistic. After all, it's not like we have season 5 to lose.
I said it before and I'll say it again that Ryan's and Kreuk's connection works the best when there's drama and angst involved. The park scene was yet another good example. While they may have a "great comical chemistry" in real life (according to TPTB) the stuff that's golden is their portrayal of Vincat in times of struggle and danger or when they're forced to be apart. That's why Ancestors worked and that's why even though apart, you could still somehow feel these characters belong together. Same goes from the flashbacks from previous episodes of the season. Those were their strongest moments.
At this point, I'm not sure the writers are even taking their own writing seriously. Like somebody said, a parody of a parody. If you can't come up anything original and make your actors repeat the same lines over and over there's only so much they can do with the material. If Gillian Horvath suggested there may BTS issues the public has no idea about, I accept that but if I played a drinking game with happily after after and whoever's behind this, I'd be checked into AA by now. This is lazy writing, nothing else. If you need to give your actors hundred lines in a bed scene so that they don't have to make out, then just scratch the entire bed scene. Give them something they CAN work with. I saw KK flinch at one point and it wasn't what you'd call hot or racy. I cringed a little.
The plot worked well in this episode. It was entertaining. The pace was good too.
I just hope the show ends on a positive note. It's my only wish at this point.

So my curiosity got the better of me and I popped in here to see if this episode is a and ........and it was "racy" like Hitower stated? I am gathering from a scan of all of your comments that it was kinda .............. I really wasn't expecting a scene like AMP but I thought there would be at least one more scene with some of the passion or sexiness of Vincent and "Gabrielle" (I think that was her name) or instead of Catherine yapping about this or that, she would have a scene where she would have on a little nightie (like with Gabe) and try some seductive moves on Vincent. That's all. I don't need a whole strip down, but for Pete's sake, ........Catherine should have been a little more "aggressive" with her Beast. I guess the "absence" of the mind-numbing 'Flannel Shirt' is something we should be thankful for, but come on..........3 years of a relationship and all we get some pecks and cuddling from one of greatest love stories ever developed and all the passion is in 1 maybe 2 episodes? ? I have't seen the episode but if that is it, well they have lead us on. I guess that is why we haven't really heard from Jay or Kristin about the show this season. It really is odd and a disappointment how disconnected the two LEADS of BATB have been and essentially closed the door. Austin should be commended for his continuous engagement with the fans all these years. Still,........I just find it weird and suspicious why Kristin and Jay didn't at least give one last interview about this season. Did I miss something? I haven't followed as closely this season. Oh well, I hope the rest of the season has some good drama because the "romance boat" has sailed away for me.
