I think that this episode was certainly very similar to 2x17. Vincent and Catherine running away from the police with the risk of exposure , but now we have them running away from DHS with again, the risk of exposure. This episode is like 2x17 but the stakes are three times as high as they were in season two. I liked this episode, not as good as 4x05 or 4x06 but it continues season 4 in a positive way as it moves the story along at a quick but understandable pace.

I hear everybody, but I still stand by my assessement of Tess. THIS is probably the most dangerous situation VinCat have EVER been in and what Catherine needs now is the full support of Tess, JT and Heather. She does NOT need to hear that she could go to prison or that she should turn Vincent in. Catherine is a cop just like Tess, her father was an attorney, so she KNOWS exactly what she is getting into and what she is risking for Vincent - she is not stupid. I understand Tess' fears in that she always thinks that Catherine is 'losing her head' when it comes to Vincent, but I think she should trust her a bit more. I just do not like the sentence: 'You know that I love you and Vincent, BUT.....' and then she launches into this doom and gloom predictions about what is going to happen to them. I think Catherine has enough on her plate. Of course, Tess is in my black book and off my Christmas list for shipping 'the one we shall never mention again' to Catherine constantly in S2. I have a long memory and I am not the forgiving kind when it comes to the ADA from hell. Although don't like Tess in VinCat point of view I know where she's coming from. If my friend had a boyfriend/husband like V I would try to talk her out of it every day. To be fair like V said Cat has been almost killed and kidnapped multiple times and on top of t all she was cheated by him once/twice. Even if most is due to V being a beast, it would still not feel like the relationship my friend should be having. Luckily it's a TV series and VinCat is so made for each other that I can overlook those small details. I loved that question from Tess back in season 1 asking if Cat kisses V when he's like that. She'll get everything forgiven because of that in my mind.

But if you ever saw your friend look at her man the way Vincent and Catherine are looking at each other, would you not just KNOW that they belonged together NO MATTER WHAT ?
I WOULD - and then I would do anything to help in making their 'happily ever after' a reality.
But, the writers and the show runner want to make Tess be the way she is and at least SHE has been pretty consistently negative about the VinCat relationship from the start. She is being won over to Vincent's good qualities a few times, but at the first sign of trouble, she wags her finger and predicts desaster.

Thanks for moving the thread. Hi Suzie! How is everyone liking season 4? Hi Katie!! How are you? I am enjoying the season. A little slow at first but it is slowly gaining speed. Storyline is a bit confusing who is after Vincent? Too much of repetitive dialogue but some cute scenes between all the characters. VinCat still lack a bit of passion but I am enjoying them together. So.........let's hope we have a good episode tonight! I am probably the last one to see this.

We're running out of season (and series) for Vincent to be back down into the tunnels yet again. Hopefully this is the low point from which they claw their way back up to the daylight. I mean this is so Season One...
Didn't understand how Vincent was being held by the Security Company one minute, then he's meeting Cat under the bridge the next. Abrupt transition.
Heather acted like she thought Kyle was a bad guy... Hummm...
Cat and Tess are back to the situation where they take an oath of loyalty to an agency, yet they may have to violate that oath for personal loyalties. I hope they ARE having a problem with it. Particularly Tess should have it eating away at her.
How great was Vincent's blurring in to scoop up a friend sitting in a chair? Makes sense they would feel nauseated. They could even have broken bones if not careful. (That was a problem Smallville never dealt with. The laws of physics should apply to the rest of us).

This episode was not so strong like others episode but was good.. love Cat style hair & clothe, Vincent scare me with so much confidence! I thought that Cat betrayed V but Uuuff!! but NOT !! thanks God. I don't like Kyle.. in this epi looks like he is the BAD when he grabs the Heathers' neck Things look so complicated right now for Kellers.. Watching again!!!

It was a great show for me. So nostalgic and reminiscent of Season 1 where they are hiding again desperate to protect themselves and their love. I liked it but I feel it is meant to lead us to the finale of the show. It feels like the writers are trying to give true Beasties a sense of reconnecting with the characters we fell in love with as we see our Catherine and Vincent again fighting for their love against formidable odds.
As for Kyle, he gives me a sense that he knows much more than he is sharing and is working to manipulate Heather into sharing his missing pieces to aid in his sinister agenda. I hate to think that Heather merely is being setup to be a pawn adding fuel to the fire of Catherine and Vincent's ultimate critical dilemma.

This episode is good... Yes, but this escape annoys me. The best thing is see Vincent and Cat together always and forever, but I'd like to get over this fight for Vincent's nature. I'd like to see the situation changes and not only VinCat hide. So I hope that the narrative thread of the 4th episode resumes.
I suspect strange Kyle's facial expression during the hug with Ether.

So three things I just wanted to say besides the fact that this was another amazing episode and they really are going all out finally for this show. 1. We were all talking about V blurring with Cat, but I thought it was hysterical when he did it with JT. I laughed out loud! Austin played it perfectly, his face and the way he played JTs confusion when V said to sit and hold onto the bag tightly. 2. Kyle, I'm on the fence about if we should trust him or not. He seems innocent enough, but I just got this nagging feeling like why are they wasting so much screen time and bringing him back for continuous episodes if he wasn't important or if he was just gonna be Heathers boyfriend? There is more to him. I almost feel like he's either the big bad bounty hunter or the one right under him. Does anyone know how many episodes he's in? And what is his last episode? 3. Finally, I love how everything is coming full circle or history is repeating itself meaning just like S1, someone is out to get V and he's running/in hiding from the law, yes, he's been in that situation more than once, but this time it has that S1 vibe to it. I think imo, V coming out as alive happened way too quickly in the series. I could've taken seasons of VinCat hiding out from the law and Muirfield. Muirfield really should've just remained the ultimate big bad of the series or atleast a few seasons. If you really want to know about Kyle's episode count and his last episode, BATB's IMDB page has that info, but it could be a little spoilery. I think season 1 made Muirfield look too incompetent to be an effective big bad. At first I thought that Muirfield was a bunch of scientists who were trying to cover up their crimes and that's why they were so bad at finding and eliminating their targets. Their security or assassins couldn't take out V and / or C in the Pilot, Basic Instinct, Cold Turkey, Insatiable, Heart of Darkness or Playing with Fire, they couldn't find V through JT or Cat, and their lab and vital Orchard were easily broken into. You are right! I just looked. Now I'm very curious though. I love spoilers bc I like to try and piece things together to see how they are going to play out.
