@luna76 . A ctually, if I understood it correctly, Hill did NOT know who put out the bounty and HE only wanted Vincent dead to get rid of the problem of having to cover for a beast and risk his job and put his family in danger. He just happened to hire the same organization that was also hired by the other organization that wanted to get a beast caught alive. So, both the assassins that Hill hired AND the beast hunters who were after Vincent for the bounty are working for Graydal. But Graydal does not know that the target they were supposed to eliminate for Hill was actually the very target that their other client wanted them to find. Otherwise, Vincent could NOT go undercover at Graydal Securities. THEY still do not know that HE is the beast their other client wants. Oh thank you!!! I've understood that Graydal doesn't know that Vincent is the beast but in fact my theory doesn't make sense... so in fac we have only the bounty hunter that is looking for Vincent, killers was sent by Hill using Grydal services

Okay, having seen the episode and read through all the comments which always entertains me, I'm adding my two cents in - only I don't have the patience to write a long comment ( ironic, isn't it ? Considering how long my chapters are ) 1: So many of you have brought up points that I totally agree with so I won't reiterate the same things , particularly BeastieBoy and bbatb. - thoroughly agree with all that you both said. 2: Vincent was showing his inner Condor through this episode - aggressive, confident, determined - all adding up to delicious sexy man. RAWR !! 3: I really hope that Kyle doesn't turn out to be the bad guy and that he's been using Heather to get to Vincent all this time - Heather deserves a better exit storyline than that. Hope he turns out to be secretly trying to help them in some way. 4 well done Heather on lying to Kyle - whether she thought of it or not - she solved the dilemma of answering Kyle without ruining everything. There is something big coming with him - I feel it. 5: Vincent all condor-like was super sexy. Just saying. Lol 6: Tess really got on my bad side in this episode for the first time. I wanted to smack her. 7: seriously, with how good this season is, it just shows up s3 as being a complete miss. Other than the proposal and wedding and a few other random moments, that whole season could be scrapped and replaced with this season and I'd be okay with that, especially since there'd still be another season coming up, s4 is far superior to s3 in terms of everything - wardrobe, writing, storylines, vincat relations and feelings. Everything. 8: Vincents dream - a total psyche out lol 9: I can see that this episode already explains why we are meant to have a "racy" bedroom scene in the next episode - they miss each other coz of him hiding out in the dungeon - limited time. 10: did I mention that Vincent was all sexy condor- like ? Huh!! I said I don't do long comments....yet look what I did.!! Doh ! ebeline. dresden @luna

If I have to find something that was wrong in the filming is Vincent's dream in the opening: It is shot through Cat's eyes but it comes from Vincent's mind... I don't knw if you meant that zelly309 with your psyche out

One more hypothesis for that pic betina05 : when Vincent blurs and takes away Cat from her chair, he carries her to the rooftop... we don't actually see him carring Cat because of the blur effect, but J could have carried KK walking normally and then they fastforward the scene in post production Yes @luna76 I am sure that is what has happened I took some screen shots and it shows them blurring but they probably walked it it originally.

Ok, I have only watched this episode once but it is clear that the theme overall was TRUST. Cat has to get DHS to TRUST her again so that she can access Deputy Secretary Hill's files to find the evidence to exonerate Vincent. Vincent on the other hand shows that he TRUSTS Cat to throw him under the bus (just a little bit) to enable her to get the evidence but not so much that she will side against him and get in bed (not literally) with Agent Morgan who is trying to bring Vincent in. Cat has to work out whether to TRUST Tess's terrible advice to 'bring Vincent in' and TRUST that the truth will come out and Vincent will be exonerated. Kyle asks Heather to TRUST him with the truth and Heather has try and work out if he can be TRUSTED and if she can TRUST herself to make the right decision. JT clearly doesn't wholly TRUST Vincent not to cross the line with the bounty hunter he has just trapped. Shame on you JT, as Vincent only knocks him around a little bit (which her deserves) before injecting him with a truth drug. Vincent then tries to get a job with the private security firm that sent both the assassins and the bounty hunters after him, but is unsuccessful because they don't TRUST him not to be working with his wife and DHS. Finally, and most importantly, Cat needs to be seen to betray Vincent's TRUST and lure him into a meet with DHS, TRUSTING that he will not only get away, without DHS seeing him beast out, but that he will also TRUST in their love and the fact that she would never actually betray him. She has informed Heather and Tess of her double cross but has not had the opportunity to tell Vincent and has to TRUST that he will know the true meaning of her actions. The result of all this TRUST is that the plan seems to have worked. DHS now TRUST Cat and Greydal (Private Security Firm) now TRUST Vincent as they believe there is a rift between him and his wife, and therefore with DHS also. The plot of this episode is complex as it bluffs and double bluffs it's way along until it's hard to remember who is working for which side. But one thing is certain. We should never doubt the loyalty that our VinCat have towards each other, never doubt their love and, it seems, never doubt the faith and trust they have in each other. There were few lighter moments in this episode but I for one loved the darker side we saw to Vincent. I think the adrenaline he was injected with last time may have lingered a little in his system. But, as usual, the VinCat moments were tender and loving and all the characters played their part. Tess has to be the voice of reason, that's her role, but she knows that Cat will never rat Vincent out, so ultimately, she showed her support. Heather showed a deeper side to her character and her resourcefulness, when she made up the lie on the spot to placate Kyle but also nullify any threat that he could pose to Vincent. She did really well and showed that she is not just the fluffy little sis. Cat's blood is her blood after all so she is showing she can be as knowing as her big sister. She and JT also managed to negotiate the DHS interrogation without giving away any information that could hurt Cat or Vincent. JT was...well, what JT always is: loyal to Vincent and standing by him no matter what, but not afraid to tell him to his face if he disagrees with his actions. Overall, this was a solid episode, that moved the story along. Some nice VinCat moments and a little of the bitter-sweet togetherness against all odds of last week again. Can't wait for the next episode, when I am hoping, nay expecting, my glasses to fog up - with not a hot shower in sight.

This was another really great episode! One word can sum up this episode for me, SUSPENSE! I absolutely didn't know what Catherine might do until the very end. Oh and that ending, that's what VinCat is all about to me! I'm falling in love with BATB all over again. BATB has found its mojo in S4 and I'm lov'n it! I'm not sure, but I might even have liked this episode better than 406. My favorite this season so far is still 405, but this 407 episode and 406 are right up there as well. Totally agree with you BeastieBoy. Beauty and the Beast Season 4 rocks!!

Based on the comments from this episode, I really hope Kyle is NOT a bad-guy, because if he is, VinCat's plan just got blown to all heck depending on who Kyle might work with, if he reports Heather's comments about Vincent working WITH DHS. I mean, the LAST thing VinCat would want out there is that Vincent is supposedly working for DHS or his wife, since that would mean that Cat WAS working directly with Vincent (which, hey, she is of course, but only to help exonerate Vincent and to out these Graydol people).
WHY oh WHY couldn't BATB have looked like this LAST season? Had we had THIS kind of season last year, I doubt we would have gotten cancelled! A show of this current quality should be allowed to continue. I'm actually ENJOYING re-watching S4 episodes, something that NEVER happened last season.
And agree to the Infinity Degree regarding KK---I had actually worried last season when she appeared to age how many years overnight. And it was like that for multiple episodes. NOW, she looks her most beautiful self throughout the episodes that have aired this season, no matter what VinCat are experiencing onscreen. S3 was just off in every possible way, from dialogue to wardrobe to plot, etc.
But having S4 be THIS GOOD is still bittersweet given that this episode really IS the halfway point of the season. They have ramped up the intensity in a good way and actually gotten to the heart of the issues/problems AND made you FEEL that level of intensity, something that just never clicked last season.
Can't wait to see this episode on Thursday!!!!

Can't wait to see this episode on Thursday!!!! You bring up a good point, but Kyle does NOT know that Vincent is a beast and now that Hill is no longer paying to have him killed, Graydal has no interest in killing him without getting paid. It might get him in trouble trying to infiltrate them, but that is a long shot. But Kyle COULD work for the organization that hired Graydal to FIND them a beast and since Catherine's name came up during the break-in at DHS (the bounty hunter), he could have been sent to get to her through Heather. Vincent's files were encrypted, so these compromised files did not reveal that HE is the beast. But THAT is really also a very long shot. So, maybe Kyle is not bad after all. I only had that impression when he hugged Heather and instead of looking at her, he looked like he was far away with a somewhat calculating look on his face. I could be reading far too much into that, though.

it's actually funny that seeing Jay carry KK makes me happy. He still carried her even if they could have done the blurr in some other way too. She looks so content and relaxed in his arms. wouldn't it be funny to see him carrying Austin too though?:'D Anyways.. the episode was great IMO too. Many loops storywise and very unpredictable. Not as good as the last two by still amazing! S4 is amazing and I truly appreciate them all doing this for us. As Austin said in an interview this season was done for the beasties and they really deliver. Unfortunately they won't be getting too many new viewers this way but it doesn't matter any more either as it is the final season anyways. So sad there's only 6 episodes left! Also love that actor who V was torturing. Don't remember what else he has done though. Tess I didn't like in the ep. Heather is sweet and I truly hope Kyle is a good guy, but he's looking more like a bad guy after each episode. Don't know though.. maybe they are just fooling us. Also would love to know what happened in s3 for everybody as this season is almost better than s2 IMO. Now time to watch again to get more to say..

Oh BTW what did you guys think about the green surveillance camera shots when Vincent was interviewed by that guy from the hitman/bounty hunters organization? Who was watching through the camera?

Vincent, IMHO, was not a good man under the FBI's brainwashing that turned him into Condor. It does make him much more dangerous and unpredictable now, almost desperate at times. Which is actually a good thing in that it makes the show less predictable and more suspenseful. But it does cause me some angst over how this behavior might affect Cat, if she ever saw the Condor side of V in person the way JT did.
