So with you DayaBEASTS4 ! This is a deux watch for certain! Makes me feel so nostalgic! VinCat running in the shadows again and unwilling to lose their love! Hill what a narcissistic and ungrateful jerk, willing to sacrifice VinCat for his reputation with the DHS instead of working together to build an alternate cover in gratitude for saving him and his family! Spineless jerk, just listen to his cowardly justification for sacrificing Vincent! I'm so with you batb4evr1 ! Hills he deserved it

I have a new kind of respect for Heather's magic powers, because it always took a few days to get my husband's name tag sewn onto any new uniform. SHE was able to magically change the name Keller to Chandler within what? one hour? In the car driven by Kyle! Bravo. LOL. Also, if you show up in a 12-year-old uniform, all red flags will be raised and you might be arrested as a potential terrorist. But there is more: Vincent was a Specialist and NOT a Captain, so his rank insignia on this old uniform are wrong, unless our efficient Heather swapped those out within seconds and she also knew where exactly those have to be placed. I am officially impressed by Heather! LOL. 4. Vincent could have gone into beast mode and broken the chains BEFORE Hill injected him. That way he would have been able to just blurr away and NOT kill Hill. He has good control as a normal beast! So why wait? Last week he broke Catherine's ties without even beasting out. Just saying. 5. How did Hill know about this FBI black ops regarding super soldiers and how they were killed? How did he know that Fuller was even involved? I am pretty sure that the FBI would not give such details to DHS. DHS knows about beasts - granted - but I doubt that Vincent would give them these details. My Vincent uniform question was how did he even still have one. When he fled Afghanistan did he take his uniforms with him? Even if his uniform got sent home after he was declared dead, how did he get it back and even if he did have one when he initially got back, shouldn't it have been blown up along with the warehouse or are we supposed to believe it was one of the few things he stuffed into his little backpack that he was running around the tunnels with. As for your #4, I think it was supposed to be that the chains were so strong that only super duper duper amped up beastie V. could break them and technically he broke Cat's chains in his dream so in his dream, he could anything. And her chains were probably just regular people chains not beastly fortified ones. Cat and V already had told Russo and the agent Liam killed about the government turning V. into a beast so I don't see why they wouldn't have given Russo all of the background information during their subsequent chats plus DHS guys Thomas and Barnett knew all about beasts and were doing their investigation with the Deputy Sec. knowledge. Even Knox said he'd heard rumors and Beth aired some of it at V's press conference. Oh, and Heather's most impressive feat to me remains her ability to remodel Cat's apartment in the time it took Cat to say goodbye to V on the roof after Heather caught them in the apartment and her return a minute or two later. Sewing on a name tag would be nothing in comparison.

You are right THAT would have been his least concern - don't think he ever wanted to go back to being a soldier. I still think that they should have made the chains at least 'look' a little bit more sophisticated - like in 201 with those fancy titanium steel alloy thingies. The chains in 406 looked cheap and make-shift and did not impress me at all. But, it is a mute point, because the plot demanded that he could NOT break them so then he could NOT do it. The plot rules always weather it makes sense or not. LOL. You are right about Heather's remodelling powers - very impressive. Especially, the way she cleaned up all the dust and debris that must have come with all those structural changes and not a hair out of place afterwards. Guess she also knows how to operate a Hilti, so yeah, having a sewing machine tucked away in her car is really a piece of cake.

After a rewatch of 406 here are some more observations:
Catherine says that Vincent still has his security clearance - what a crock of horse manure! There is NO WAY he has any clearance at all, just like he was never Special Forces or a Captain.
JT tells Catherine that he tracked Vincent's ear piece to this warehouse where Hill is holding him. Well, THAT is not possible, because when the ear piece went dead - because Catherine is surprised by these two IA guys - Vincent took it out and probably lost it in the explotion.
JT says toward the end that Vincent was injected with artificial adrenalin. How does he know this?? He was surely not allowed at the crime scene and DHS must have taken all the evidence, etc. away. Even if Catherine described the empty vials, he would not know what was in them.
On an other note: could not Fuller testify on Vincent's behalf and tell the CORRECT story, that Vincent thought he was just downloading data and then the device exploded, surprising both of them. Vincent was standing right in front of the device. Would he have done that if he KNEW that it would explode any minute and if he was a suicide bomber, would he have stopped to give First Aid to Fuller?
And about this device. Hill must have requesitioned it from scientists working for DHS. It is a very specific gadget and there must be some paper trail to get it - I am sure it cost quite a bit of money and organizations like DHS should be accountable for expenses IMO.
I am just throwing this out there for fun - it does not change my love for the show. I just wish the writers would have taken a bit more care with it and not cut so many corners to achieve the plot they wanted.

Catherine says that Vincent still has his security clearance - what a crock of horse manure! There is NO WAY he has any clearance at all, just like he was never Special Forces or a Captain.if you are talking about that scene in the car, they were talking about Col. Fuller and getting his high level security clearance. That's why Vincent had to confront him or steal his key card. As for Special Forces or Capt. Keller, I think we have to go with them retconning his military "career." in season 2, they could have gone with brainwashed V. thinking he had special forces skills and thus being able to do more than he had originally been trained for but since they keep using that like it's some logical explanation for V. to be involved in Cat's investigations, guess we will just have to go with Special Forces training taking less than 8 months in the BATB world. I wasn't paying that close of attention but I believe in the resurrected X-files, Scully created a vaccine to save all of human kind in something like an evening. JT tells Catherine that he tracked Vincent's ear piece to this warehouse where Hill is holding him. Well, THAT is not possible, because when the ear piece went dead - because Catherine is surprised by these two IA guys - Vincent took it out and probably lost it in the explotion.Since they didn't show V throwing the earpiece away and since his clothes weren't shredded or blown off along with some of his limbs as would normally be the case when someone is next to a bomb that goes off, I'm going with he put the earpiece in his pants pocket where it traveled along with the rest of him and Hill. JT says toward the end that Vincent was injected with artificial adrenalin. How does he know this?? He was surely not allowed at the crime scene and DHS must have taken all the evidence, etc. away. Even if Catherine described the empty vials, he would not know what was in them.NYPD were the ones chasing Cat, so i'm assuming Tess gave JT some sample which, given the way evidence has been handed out since the pilot episode, seems a likely scenario to me in the BATB world. On an other note: could not Fuller testify on Vincent's behalf and tell the CORRECT story, that Vincent thought he was just downloading data and then the device exploded, surprising both of them. Vincent was standing right in front of the device. Would he have done that if he KNEW that it would explode any minute and if he was a suicide bomber, would he have stopped to give First Aid to Fuller?maybe he's dead, in a coma, brain damaged from blood loss, has amnesia and will recover when it's convenient plus V. still kidnapped him, assaulted him, threatened him and brought the bomb onto the base. And about this device. Hill must have requesitioned it from scientists working for DHS. It is a very specific gadget and there must be some paper trail to get it - I am sure it cost quite a bit of money and organizations like DHS should be accountable for expenses IMO.
Hill could have gotten the device from Graydal, and while govt. agencies should be accountable for all of their expenses, it took until 2011 for a Special Inspector General to account for $6 billion in cash sent to Iraq in 2004 and the Commission on Wartime Contracting estimates that between $31 and $60 billion was lost to fraud or waste in Iraq and Afghanistan from 2001-2011.

Oh, pippin of course you can explain EVERYTHING with being in the BATB world and I know that we just have to do this or very little would make sense - I mean, we ARE talking about beasts existing in the first place. Blown away by the info in your last paragraph - you can possibly support small African countries with that money for years.
