Just a thought--since there will be no obvious connection between the assassins and Hill, with Hill being dead, I would assume that this would mean that at least JT and Tess and Heather could resume their normal lives. I mean, with no one to pay them, why would assassins continue to target them?
For VinCat, obviously there are DHS issues abounding as well as exposure. And DHS will NOW most definitely be in the limelight, and they will do EVERYTHING to shift the blame to Vincent (and Catherine, assuming they can build a case against her. Which they will most likely try asap in order to discredit her in case she tries to blab on what their agent/director did). But Tess and JT most likely WILL still be on multiple radars.
And what about the decrypted DHS files? My understanding from 402 was that JT was unable to delete Vincent's stuff entirely from DHS due to the encryption files. So wouldn't DHS itself have ACCESS to know everything about Vincent still?
I am incredibly intrigued and eager to see what follows from here (well, at least I WILL BE on Thursday when I finally see this episode for myself!).

So does anyone know their Charles Dickens well enough to know what this episode has to do with a Tale of Two Cities?
Or could it be that the title "Best of Times, Worst of Times" is simply referencing the start of the episode (i.e. the shower love scene) and the end of the episode (i.e. Vincent now a fugitive again for murdering Hill)?
Just curious...

You are talking about the opneing sentences of that novel. Yeah, that could be.
'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way - in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.'
I think that they may be referring to the marriage vows 'for better or worse', since they talk about their wedding in the opening scene.
But please DO elaborate on your take.

Okay, finally saw the episode and I got to say it was great.I could have enjoyed it more if I had not peaked and read what happened in the episode but what can I say I am a curious person. Some of the things I really liked was-1.the shower scene and when Cat said this not the reaction she was hoping for. 2.Tess say it is weird about JT giving V shirt to her to wear. 3.the car chasing scene where V just zoom out and come back and the look on his face. 4.when V learn that Cat give him the name Chandler and the whole interaction with fuller.I don't think that fuller is dead what Hill really meant was that whole blaming fuller and the possiblity of killing him. 5.Cat telling the reporter to stay away if she doesn't want to become headline. Heather was amazing this whole episode. 6.The last scene was something really good and I wanted more of that. I feel like now Cat is going to be trouble because though Hill is dead what happen between the other agents and her is very suspicious and make V look very guilty.

But please DO elaborate on your take. Yes the ep title is the famous opening line to the Dickens classic novel. All of the ep titles so far have either been twists on movie titles (e.g. 401 a french twist on Mr & Mrs Smith) or a famous saying or line (403, 406). Except for Beast Interrupted (i.e. Girl Interrupted), I could relate the ep title to the story line. In some cases, characters even utter the title names in part of their dialogue (e.g. 401 & 404). I read a Tale of Two Cities back in high school and don't remember very much. The novel contrasts London and Paris during the French revolution, but this episode had nothing to do with that theme. So I was just wondering if there's something deeper in the novel that's similar to this episode or no relation at all. Putting the novel aside, I guess my simple take would be that VinCat went from the best of times (marriage, honeymoon, shower scene etc.) to now what seems to be the worst of times (after what Vincent just did towards the end of the ep).

I know how you feel, I struggle with this as well. I always enjoy an episode most when I'm completely spoiler free. I used to be on the hunt for new pics or little tidbits of info during the off season. But now that S4 is here, I've pretty much gone "cold turkey" and have become mostly spoiler free. I don't even watch the previews anymore, because they've contained some pretty big spoilers. Under no circumstances will I peek at these "early viewer" threads until I've watched the episode myself. It's great that this forum has a well organized Spoiler section and everyone follows the rules, so people can safely choose whether they want to be spoiled or not. But social media is just full of land mines, especially after the ep airs on Showcase. Which has forced me to abandon my preferred viewing slot of watching with US beasties on Thursday nights, to instead watching as early as I can in order to be spoiler free. I've said this before and I'll say it again, it just SUCKS that they don't air on the same night!

Thanks - there were one or two occasions that I would like to read up, since there was yelling and mumbling and explosions. LOL.

Don't know how these two have any love-life at all. Catherine (naked in the shower with a naked Vincent) says "Instead of focusing on each other we have to think about beast-bounties and hired killers". Are you kidding me? There are times when you REALLY need to focus on each other... How cool was it for Vincent to blur into and out of a speeding car? The early part of the season had the Scooby-Doos standing around wringing their hands over beast-bounties and beast-buyers without taking much action. Now finally they're in action, whether or not it makes much sense. Maybe I'm not remembering too well, but didn't Hill of DHS withstand torture to protect V&C? Now he turns out to be the big bad? I don't get it. I never expected to hear, "You stuck bananas up Grace Rose's tailpipe?" Say what? Putting the novel aside, I guess my simple take would be that VinCat went from the best of times (marriage, honeymoon, shower scene etc.) to now what seems to be the worst of times (after what Vincent just did towards the end of the ep). Yes, I'll buy that take on the title. The ending felt like after four years we're back at the beginning. I love it...

So with you DayaBEASTS4 ! This is a deux watch for certain! Makes me feel so nostalgic! VinCat running in the shadows again and unwilling to lose their love! Hill what a narcissistic and ungrateful jerk, willing to sacrifice VinCat for his reputation with the DHS instead of working together to build an alternate cover in gratitude for saving him and his family! Spineless jerk, just listen to his cowardly justification for sacrificing Vincent!
