I'm just 6 minutes through but I have a full appreciation on the first minutes. Just to be clear it's a rather long shot of Vincent in the shower and is then joined by Cat. Even if V by himself is hotter than he with Cat scenewise it's a great way to open an episode!

What nobody awake yet?
Okay, just a quick review:
We start with a hot shower scene of VinCat who are staying at JT's place, only marred by Vincent recapping all the bad things that happened to them in all the seasons past. Then Catherine reminds him of better times and they kiss....and so on. Very nice. BUT then the others are knocking on the door wanting to take their showers: JT, Tess and Heather. Catherine is ready to finish, but Vincent has other ideas, which WE do not get to see unfortunately.
Then they all have a crowded breakfast and are interrupted by a news reporter on TV bringing up the question of DHS coverups and the blogger's and Russo's death, bla, bla. VinCat decide to pay Hill a visit. They meet him and he hands them a file saying that he found out that Vincent's former CO is in line to become a general and that the snipers from last week used to work for him. He says that they need to scan the computer on the base where the general is stationed to confirm this. Catherine volunteers them to get this information. On the way home they are followed by a news van, but they get away with Vincent's help.
Vincent puts on his old uniform and JT hacks into base security so Catherine can watch his progress from her new off-site office and also be able to talk to him while he is tracking down his old CO in order to get into the computer room. He gets on base and sees the colonel and follows him. At the same time Catherine is surprised by two DHS agents who were sent to question her about Vincent. They hand her a file that they got from Hill and it says in there that Vincent is a terrorist and that he has PTSD and is a danger to his country. In a split second Catherine realizes that Hill is a traitor and that he is setting Vincent up. She tries to convince these two agents to let her go to help Vincent, but then Hill himself shows up and tells them to take Catherine away for debriefing at DHS. She tells him to his face that she knows what he is, but he just tells her that he understands that she is upset and that they will help her get over her loss. The two agents take her away.
Vincent ambushes the colonel and forces him to get him into the computer room where they start the download. The colonel tells him that it was NOT him who sent assassins after Vincent and that in fact he spared his life in Afganistan even when he had orders and the chance to kill him. Vincent has a memory of that event and he realizes that the colonel is telling the truth. At the same moment the downloading device he got from Hill starts to blink and he knows it is a bomb. He grabs the colonel and they try to get out of there, but the bomb goes off injuring the colonel. Vincent gives him First Aid and then blurrs away to look for Catherine at the off-site office where Hill is already waiting for him and tranques him with 2 darts.
Hill takes Vincent to a warehouse and chains him up. When Vincent wakes up he tells him that it was him who sent all these assassins because he was afraid of getting killed and his family too. And now his job is on the line also, because he is under investigation. So, he wants Vincent to beast out so that he legitimately shoot him. Vincent refuses to beast out, but Hill has 4 vials of synthetic adrenalin which he starts to pump into Vincent in order to get him to beast out. Vincent can no longer hold back and he beasts out and breaks the chains and starts blurring around while Hill is trying to shoot him. Then he grabs Hill and picks him up by the neck.
Catherine gets taken to a waiting car by these two agents and she knocks them out to get away. JT finds the two tranque darts and knows that Vincent has been taken. He tracks him to this warehouse and gives Catherine the location. She races there with 2 police cars chasing her. She arrives at the warehouse to see Vincent holding up Hill by his neck and she yells at him to not kill him, but Vincent is so pumped up that he snaps his neck and then blurrs away.
Catherine is packing a go bag for Vincent with JT and Heather helping. They have a meeting point under the East River overpass and that is where she will be trying to find him. As they say good-bye in the street, this pesky reporter wants to ask Catherine questions, but she brushes her off and leaves in her car (not Sally). Heather puts a banana into the news van's exhaust pipe so they are unable to follow Catherine and she gets away clean.
At the underpass she finds Vincent. They are really concerned and scared and a bit hopeless at first. But then they hug and promise themselves that they will see this through together. And Vincent says 'I will never let you go' and I am ready to swoon. We end with a shot of this huge underpass and the two of them looking really small and kinda lost.
Great and exciting and dark and dangerous episode. Feels a bit like old times. YEAH.

I've now also finished the episode and I truly liked it! It had just a right amount of true love and action for me. Even if my opinion might still be influenced by Vs other earthly body I feel it might be my favorite episode of the season. Most likely most people won't agree though. I found the Hill storyline be believable and the mystery of Vincent not getting shot in Afghanistan got explained. Also enjoyed that Catherine wasn't able to talk him down from killing Hill. That was a nice change and a way to get the story beating towards the end. I need to rewatching after work

I really enjoyed this episode, it was a lot darker than a lot of episodes we've had in the past. It was sad to see Catherine beat herself about not being able to stop Vincent and to see Vincent beating himself up about what he did. Hopefully those things won't be forgotten next episode, as I feel like it might taken Vincent a while to get over something like that? JT, Tess and Heather were also great, although I am starting to feel sorry for Kyle (I'm team innocent until proven guilty) because I'd like to see where that could go. In terms of exposition, when looking back on the episode, it isn't glaring obvious that there was lots, but it was in there and there was more than in 4x05 but it wasn't to the extent of the average season 3 episode. I thought KK and JR did a great job with episode and can't wait for 4x07! Will post more once I watch it again.

I just watched, I'm truly impressed with this episode. I thought, how are they going to top 405? Will it be back to the same ol' same ol' of S3-ish exposition? But no, this was another great episode! And a worthy follow on to 405. The opening scene alone was enough to get this one going. But I thought here we go again, beastus interruptus - just when things are getting hot. But no, the writers surprised again by letting VinCat finish their alone time in the shower. Yay! There's really so many things I liked in this episode. I'm not sure where to start, but I liked JT&T in this one (I'm usually not a fan). I think they work better as a couple when they're not really a couple. "Jealousy, thy name is Tess!" Good one JT! LOL. I liked the element of the snoopy reporter gal, I wonder if she'll be in more episodes? Heather and Kyle didn't get much screen time in this one, starting to feel sorry for the guy though. Mostly I liked the VinCat interaction. When Cat came to save V, I thought yet another scene where Cat talks down out of control beast Vincent. But nope, again the writers surprised. I found Catherine's reaction touching. Also, the scene at the end was just pure VinCat. Now I really feel like S4 might be a great season to remember! Things are on a roll!

Oh my gosh! This episode! I wasn't expecting this to be better than the last but I'll say it's on par! Firstly, who can complain about the shower scene? I wouldn't have minded seeing it 40 minutes haha, well maybe not that long but definitely was a treat & a scene to repeat over & over! I'm not sure on the wrestling part BUT the rest of it omg! Steamy! And probably testing limits on the ratings! But it did make it extra funny when JT was thumping the door saying, 'Did you guys die or what?' lol & the fact it was his bathroom! Then vincat just ignored it & kiss anyway! But even though this scene was hot! I actually really liked the emotion & chemistry in the last scene when Cat was looking for Vincent. I liked how the director played a little trick on us! I actually thought omg Vincent is going to be beasted out & Cat has to talk him down again...but luckily that wasn't the case. At first, I thought hmm...maybe Cat would vent up at him for having killed the guy. Seeing that scene when he was about to kill him, I thought god no please don't do it! Despite being cheesed off, the agent turned against them but for the sake of Vincents humanity...to look like he wasn't a threat to society. I wanted that so badly! But also it would be good to know that Vincent could fight against it because he doesn't want to be seen that way. I actually thought Cat could talk him out of it...so when he did I'm like oh noo...back to season 2! Which is why, I'm glad JT explained with the adrenaline it's enough to make an elephant heart attack or something along those lines...so he really couldn't control it. Otherwise I'd probably would've been questioning Vincent more & that he isn't able to control the beast as well as I thought *sigh*. I would've been more disappointed with the outcome. Then I would've questioned why Cat was that sympathetic to him, when it appears the same as before...even though they are married now..It was also good to see that last scene as abit of clarification that Cat can still help him calm down from being beast (at least I'm assuming that's what the writers were putting across, since we saw him beast at the start) not that he would stay entirely beast but time between may have been a factor as well. I loved seeing Vincent in army gear! Or should I say Jay. I liked how the flashbacks were done too, though maybe it could've been abit slower as I was finding it hard to follow lol. It was a little confusing how Vincent saw Fuller before & how Fuller didn't recognize him outside, but did later on. I don't know, I thought it would've been obvious, even though it's been 12 years & he looks older. It was tragic how it ended...but I liked seeing the exchange between Vincent & Fuller at the end. I actually wouldn't mind seeing more flash backs from the Army days...how JT & Vincent met would be cool. I wonder if that would be addressed later on. Heather putting the bananas in the van! Definitely unexpected but I like it! It's nice to see Heather helping in the way, even though it's funny. I wonder where THAT idea came from lol? And where are the writers going with Kyle? Assuming nothing is suss with him, which I hope so because he seems charming...I hope to see a few more scenes with them. But I get the feeling, if all right is with him...we probably wouldn't see him knowing the secret or if he did, it ending badly...So I guess we shall see! This might be a silly question, but I'm wondering what the cops would make out of the needles they saw with hill? Hmm.. Can't believe it's the last season! The episodes seem to be getting better as the season goes on!

OMG this time I don't know where to start! I was on the edge of my site for the entire episode... for different reason :-) How not to mention this gorgeus long slow shower... I think Jay this time used his charming self to drive us crazy... the guy know of to blow our mind away. and the look on his face after calming down after the panic attack when he realises that Cat is naked in the shower.. ahahha priceless it turned from fearful to lustful. Love that they put some good comic lines even in a episode that is heavy for the most part: - JT knocking at the bathroom door with all the gang out waiting to take their shower - Heather that steals JT's slippers because her feet are cold (and hide them under the blanket) - Vincent that put the juicer on in order to not listen to heather's mumbling - Vincent to Heather: have fun and use condoms... the face of Cat is priceless - Heather and the banana in the exhaust pipe of the journalist car - Tess being jealous of the pretty interviewer of her JT
Strong emotions when Vincent is in front of his ex commander and he has to decide if he is telling the truth or not... you can see tears in his eyes. it is really a painful moment for him with lots of memories that he surely prefer to delete You can see Vincent's pain when he is trying to not beast out with Hill: this time he is not afraid of passing the line (at least it seemed to me), he is more concerned about killing the man The last hug, the long hug... awwhh what a moment: Cat in the fog searching anxiously for Vincent and then him fully beast again, but soon turned into human when he sees Cat (maybe he was ready for another attack). Vincent now is a different person: he doesn't think anymore to do anything without Cat, they complete each other

About Jt & T: I have the impressione that they are now like a previous state of Vincent and Cat as a couple. JT is not self confident so he needs Tess to be near him to "save" him while he is trying to do the difference in the world in his own way.
I understand Hill's point of view, but he has to gain more information about a strange creature before face it :-) but he won't have another chance... sorry.
And Vincent I think will be so so sorry for what happened, like someone else said it is impossible that he will exit this situation without some form of regret for not being able to save Hill or the commander (i can't remember his name): in fact he killed two "innocent" people, plus Vincent is alive only because the commander saved him years ago and now Vincent is the reason why he is dead; Hill IMO just freaked out and tried to solve his situation alone
all the sequence between Hill and Vincent is beautifully shot and played.
I think Kyle will make his own research about Heather's family: if in first place he could add the strange behaviour of the girl to a "i don't know what I feel for this guy" problem, now it is clear that she is hiding something big... I don't know if he is the bad guy (IMO in this case he would be less surprised or disappointed by Heather behaviour), but maybe he will try to find out what is going on putting his and Heather life in danger

We are on vacation and staying with a friend. Plus - I got to tape & watch the episode. Minus - he talked through a lot of it So yay, but boo. Can't rewatch until next weekend, BUT from what I did catch, it was SO, SO good. I'm thrilled that we have another awesome episode. So many emotional moments (that felt real), more references to the past. Can't wait to watch it again properly!!!!

The guy was alive and Vincent tied up his injured leg and even made a tourniquet out of his belt in order to stop the bleeding. When he blurred away, the guards were just breaking down the door and they surely will have taken the colonel to a hospital. So he should be alive. Interesting that you say that you understand Hill's POV! He has been setting up Vincent to get killed for 2 episodes now and finally he is going to kill him personally in cold blood. How can that ever be excused? There is always another way. Hill is the head of DHA, so he can get protection for himself and his family until they find out who wants to capture Vincent. The right way would have been to continue to work WITH VinCat and find the big bad who put out the bounty and who wants Vincent captured. If Hill had been a 'good guy and a good director of DHA' it should have been in his interest and actually his sworn duty to find this big bad organization for the sake of the country he has sworn to protect from those kinds of threats. I guess Hill was under the misapprehension that Vincent would stay in his beast form once he had killed him, so he could then show everybody the evidence that he had killed a beast in self-defense. Why else would he want Vincent to beast out so badly before killing him? It certainly was not to ease his conscience, since he had sent numerous assassins after him previously without any compuction or remorse.
