I have no words. It was just so beautifully done. Very S1ish vibes. My heart was aching for V the whole episode. And the present scenes were just so amazing. Jay & KK just knocked it out. I was crying a bit. Jay nailed Vs agony of Cat not knowing him. I did chuckle a bit at everyone's reaction when past V said something or passed a comment to either JT or Reynolds about something in the present and them looking completely confused. Their facial expression were on point and so funny. It was so good to see Evan and Reynolds back. Yes and thank goodness no redheads! Loved Cat talking to V while he was "fuguing" out and her I love yous. Oh the feels! I loved when the nuzzled each other and V asked Cat at the end when he came back if she knew him. Seriously, I wish every episode was like this. There was one thing, small thing I didn't like about the episode, but can't even remember exactly what it was, because the episode as a whole was that good. One thing that is bothering me about the season in general though is, that we are almost half way already through the season and we don't know the big bad yet. I hope they don't play it how they played Liam in S3 where he wasn't revealed to be the big bad until 308. He was totally rushed by then Oh side note, I'm so glad they are showing more of Jays abs. (And Jays frontal was definitely not what I was expecting.

Really excited. Please give detail. I am dying to know what happened. Oh as some can tell, I'm super bad at recaps. But the majority of it is Cat&Vincent get shot at while in bed, then they get a group text message (V, Cat, JT, Tess) from V to meet at the coffee place. (Vs wound is not completely healed yet) V also is "feeling sorry for himself, saying Cat would be better without him." They go to the coffee to try and warn JTnT but get there just in time for people to start shooting. V starts "fuguing" he can't control his beast side and he drifts off into an alternate universe. JT finds him naked in a zoo cage. At this point, in the alternate universe JT has been looking for a cure for his fugues for 10 years and Muirfield is still around. JT passes comments to V he needs to be more careful and V is so confused, he's trying to get JT to remember reality. V asks about Cat and JT has no idea Who she is. Vincent tracks Cat to the coffee shop. Vincent approaches cat, and she doesn't remember him . She asks him who he is . Tess arrives and she doesn't know him either . They leave to go to the back room where Evan is throwing her a surprise birthday party. They are married. Vincent can't believe that they are married. V starts to say something to Evan and cat when JT stops him and pulled him from the coffee shop. They talk and Vincent finally gets JT to help him get to cat. V goes to Cats apartment and watches her and Evan. Evan is upset that she can't get over the night v saved her. Cat doesn't realize in this alternate universe that it was Vincent who saved her. Cat walks out on Evan and goes up to the rooftop V stalks Cat to her rooftop and tries to get her to remember him . He tells her a bunch of things about her life. Obviously she gets creeped out and knees him in the jaw. Cat runs Vs picture through facial recognition. She wants to follow up on it and Tess covers for her when Evan wants to go to lunch with Cat. Evan goes on cats computer and figures out who Vincent is and he calls Muirfield. muirfield kidnaps Cat. Vincent tracks down Bob Reynolds to get his help in cat to remembering him. Bob doesn't want to help . Vincent beast out on Reynolds and they go to cats apartment. Once there after a little bit of arguing Vincent realizes through his beast senses cat has been kidnapped. He finally gets Reynolds and Evan on his side and they go and try to find cat. They tracked down cat. ( Evan and Vincent have a nice conversation in the car on the way to save cat . Vincent even tells Evan that he is a good man, and he sorry he never told him that before . Evans reaction was pretty funny to that comment. Vincent enters the building and tracks down cat while Evan sneaks into the building. V saves Cat and when she finally gets a look at him and thinks about it she realizes that Vincent was the one who saved her. She lovingly touches his face. (I actually thought they might kiss) Vincent gets shot in the process. Vincent says they have to get out now. They run into the woods where V starts to pass out from his injuries and cat takes him to hang on . (Also Evan gets shot again and dies inside) Vincent wakes up from his dream or his fugue state . Cat has been telling him the entire time that she loves him and he need to hang on . She was caressing his cheek And holding him close . (Beautifully done by the Jay&KK) when Vincent comes to , he turns to cat and ask her if if she knows who he is . Of course she does and they kiss. Police arrive and deputy hill covers for them. Vincent is amended to the hospital And they reflect on the fact they don't know who's after them. That's the just of it i'm sure I left things out I am not a very good recap i'm sure I left things out I am not a very good recapper.

Oh it was soon great! I loved having Evan back, even if he wasn't his playboy self. but why do we always need to see him die!? The love of VinCat was so touching I cried a whole bunch. I loved also that Vincent could finally deal with some of the stuff that was unsettling him deep down. A great ep altogether! Most importantly I'm super sure now that the big bad of the season is Muirfield once again. There have been so many nods to that already this season.

That was one of the things that made this episode great for me. That he died a hero, saving Cat, just as he did in 1x18 Heart of Darkness. All the characters are true to their selves in the alternate reality. You might be right about Muirfield. I hope you are, I'd love nothing more for the series to end full circle that way.

Definitely the best episode so far this season! I could even go as far as one of the highlight episodes of the series...almost! Well, it definitely sticks out to me after Season 2! It was great being mostly spoiler free from this episode because I got a pleasant surprise about Reynolds. I knew about Evan though. The episode overall was better than I expected though.. Finally some decent JT & Vincent screen time! It seriously has been a long time, too long...I can recall snippets of JT, Vincent in recent episodes but it has been too short. I honestly missed their friendship! And I hope that the writers will make more effort for the upcoming episodes for them to have more screen time too..not more than vincat but at least to know that the friendship is still strong, not that they are too busy for bromance lol even though that they are...but you know what I mean! I wonder where the gummy bears idea comes from? I take it that it's more a improv thing from Austin, rather than coming from the writers? Anyhow, I like it! lol it's cheesy but nonetheless, I can deal with it! Am I the only person who laughed when Vincent was going on it's not real, it's not real then JT hit him in the head with some duster thing, saying is this real enough to you?! I don't know why I found it funny lol especially when it was supposed to be such a tense scene! I think that could've made an amusing blooper. I wonder if this scene has been done in gag reel...so curious! So wanna see ! This is so totally random & dunno why I'm pointing this out but it's also the 1st time that I noticed that Austin is getting bald :/ hmm lol. It's strange though...I didn't realise how much the actors changed since 1st season. I think it's probably the hair styles that kinda made it like they ain't quite the same as season 1. I don't think they aged much but seeing their hair style in season 4, then going back it's like hmm...Well, at least they didn't change Vincent's hair style I was hoping for a little more heart to heart between vincat in the roof top scene...Of course, since Cat didn't know him, it makes sense she wouldn't warm up to him that quickly....particularly when Vincent was going on with his dialogue; I know you like this, you like that; for sure, that would be creepy if anyone would be in that situation SO it makes sense for Cat to punch him out! It sounded stalker-ish But then I was looking at a few scenes prior & you can see on Cats face, it seemed like she recognized...or should I say trying to figure him out. When JT & Vincent kinda gate crashed the party, Cat didn't look like :/ what the heck, they are doing here get out lol; at least I didn't get that vibe (maybe 1st scene but not when she was with Evan). It was more like she was intrigued. Then I thought the plot line jumped abit because after Evan was like who's that guy? Cat then asks if he is jealous. It suddenly got tense between Evan & Cat; I thought Evan read too much into it, just because Vincent showed up at a party! But the conversation afterwards made more sense with Cat explaining about missing something from her life. I just don't get why they had to be married *sigh*? For 2 years nonetheless! I understand the writers did it for the drama But it's sad really because Evan is a nice guy, he deserves his own happy ending not to end up dying in the dream I just didn't get that Cat felt something was missing from her life all along & she settled with Evan as 2nd best...It didn't feel right! I did like seeing Vincent's reaction to the scene with Cat & Evan together though when he yelped, What the hell?! Shows how much he genuinely loves her! On the roof scene though...Instead of Vincent saying I know this, I know you...bla bla Maybe abit of it, but not too much; maybe Vincent should have admitted then & there about him being there saving her. But after seeing how much Vincent wanted her to know him, seeing his pleading eyes then punch, it killed the scene. I think that was main part of the episode that bugged me. I guess it was kinda odd how Cat decided to punch him when deep down you could see, she saw that there was more to him. I don't think she believed he'd hurt her. But I understand from watching the rest of the episode, why the writers played it out that way...more suspense. It was great when Cat finally did know about Vincent, but then the shooting...*sigh* I hope the writers will give as a Vincat romantic scene soon without some destruction with crime! I did like seeing Evan's confession in the car with Vincent, it made it all the more tragic his ending! Makes me wonder whether this is truly the last episode of his or whether the actor will make another appearance. I'm not keen on the 'bring back from the dead, make evil idea' too much...so hope the writers don't have that in mind :/ But I think it would be interesting it there were more flashbacks from Vincents past. I think this probably one of Jay Ryans' best acting episodes...as you really gain an insight into Vincent with controlling the beast, then his relationship with Cat, rolling his eyes on the back of his head, painful wound, etc lol. He pulls off the pleading look well! So the snipers, bad guys....I'm abit confused with it all but I'm starting to wonder whether it's someone from the police itself from the inside? I can't help but think it's someone from the past...I could be wrong or at least someone we have seen before. I was questioning whether it was that guy who was questioning JT, honestly no idea... Lastly, the end scene again I miss the vincat romantic scene...just purely that. It's hard to get fully into it when they are talking about bad guys and what not but I know that's the way it is for now! But episode was great overall!

This episode was spectacular and is probably one of my favourite out of the whole show. As for not knowing who the big bad is yet, I would be surprised (and this is my own theory) if agent Hill wasn't involved somehow ("feds eh?"). Great acting from everyone- Jay Ryan in particular. It was great to see a different style of episode and I loved that Evan was back (especially the scene with him and vincent in the car, that was great). I'll post more when I get back, but my initial reaction: hell yeah!!

I cannot wait to see the episode so I woke up at 5 am to watch it :-) I think this is one of the most beautiful episode of the entire serie! In V's dream all character are the same old persons of S1: Cat has not resolve her problem with the misterious creature that saved her and her mother and she is not able to go on with her life even near a good man; JT is a nerdy biochemic closed into a warehouse, whose genious is hidden to the world (and we can hear some fun lines of the old JT... like when he finds Vincent in the zoo cage and then ask "are you hungry?" and then "ah no, you've already eaten" ahahha there was a Twitter exchange between Austin and Jay about it) ; Tess is always angry with the world, on defence, and she is not happy with her love relation with the married boss. Yes, with Vincent in their life they are all in danger, but they feel complete and their hearts are full of joyful moments as well. If Vincent had not been in Cat's life, yes maybe she would have married Evan, but because Cat would have been obsessed with her mother's death, Evan would have investigated and found Muirfield anyway, putting Cat's life in danger because everyone known about M had to die. Not to mention the kiss at the end! jefferen I'm totally with you it is one of the most heartfelt kiss, he wasn't able to leave her lips even if he was in a very bad condition. This episode was so heartbreaking and I think Jay had the biggest partr of this episode and he gifted us with a new high level of performing.. I think he could use this episode as a trailer for new role...

Definitely the best episode so far this season! I could even go as far as one of the highlight episodes of the series...almost! Well, it definitely sticks out to me after Season 2! Agreed. I don't think I've been this excited after watching an episode since S2's Beast is the New Black. Cracked me up too. I just did a re-watch and laughed again just as hard! Their hair has changed and Evan/Cat have been married for 2 years because it isn't suppose to be the same year as S1. The alternate reality is taking place during about the same year as S4. Vincent says to JT in his dream "do you remember that cop who investigated us give or take 4 years ago?" A reference to the pilot, so it's now about 4 years later.

About the naked scene... When Dondrea or Hitower said something about J's full front, I thought about a scene where they were woken up or get interrupted by a killer ... but then I thought that maybe a naked fight scene was not so CW... I don't think I'm wrong with my theory: beasties are 90% women and if we have to choose we obviously prefer to see Jay without clothes on... (sorry for few male audience) Yes a scene with both them in bed making up would have been the cherry on top, but with them making up fully or partially dressed would not have been so good, and we know that KK doesn't want to show skin and maybe she doesn't want to stay near a naked J for whatever reason
