I hope there are a lot of extras. I already have two HD copies of Season 3, one on my DVR from the live CW airings and also via Amazon. But if the DVD set is packed with bonus material, I'll have to get it too. I really hope that they put a lot more cut-out scenes into THIS dvd than they put into the one for S2, since there was not all that much, except for the stuff that I REALLY did not care to see AT ALL.

I'm looking forward to this added bonus. I think, I'm not surprised of this grab bag;)

So the Amazon UK description says that the S3 DVD set's run time is 892 mins. S2 with 9 extra episodes was 925 min. Unless my math is off, if the S3 run time is correct, there would be over 300 minutes of extras which would be great, but that seems a little high.

S1 runtime is 887 minutes for 22 episodes and quite a bit of extras, interviews, long gag reel, etc. S2 runtime is 925 minutes for 22 episodes with fewer cutouts, but also interviews, gag reel, etc. S3 runtime is 892 minutes for 13 episodes and extras? I am with you pippin, there must be some mistake, unless they are REALLY giving us a lot of 'cutting-floor-stuff'. Maybe to make up for lack of VinCat moments? Nah, they never loved the fans very much, so why cater to us now?

I recall Hitower tweeting they should include a special segment on the "beasties" for the S3 DVD. I wonder if the DVD makers actually did it.

That's amazing! We have no hope to have a S3 DVD here in Italy since the show will never air. So good to see that we can bought the UK version. More, after what happen with S2 DVD that in italian version doesn't contain any extras (even if they are marked on the DVD) it is exactly what I was looking for

If the lenght is quite the same, there should be the same number of DVD.

I think that it is a mistake and as soon as I have the DVD set in my hot little hands, I will 'clarify' what it is all about.

Well, you could pre-order it from Amazon UK now and they are shipping it out by middle of March. I think last year the US release was at least 4 weeks later, but no exact date was given yet - to MY knowledge.

May 10th relaease date according to CBS Oh, Jewels great info for all the US beasties, thank you. Still, it is almost a month and a half after the UK release. Of course - in their minds - it makes sense to release the DVD in May and bring on S4 in June. Gets all the beasties talking about the DVD and geared up and excited for S4. Gosh, I am ready NOW for S4!

bbatb Yes it is great news that they will compliment S3 dvd with S4 release . Unfortunately I can't see S3 being released in Australia for me to purchase until at least Dec and we probably won't get S4 on pay TV until early 2017 (fingers crossed) I'm with you I am so ready for S4 NOW

Not so important for me, but for the other German beasties and in order to generate revenues. I have pre-ordered by DVD from Amazon UK and you could too, couldn't you?
