Did anyone else think it looked like Vincent was kind of teary eyed in Catherine's apartment when he saw the blood? It was just as Gabe cocked the gun. yes totally noticed that, loved that bit

Oh. Ewe. Sounds like a shark jump to me... Gross. She didn't even convincingly like him. It was like he was the "rebound guy" only - and her try at "normal-ish." Whatever, a former beast doesn't count as "normal" in my book. i think the love was not said in a romantic way i think she meant it differently and did not feel wrong to me in fact i thougth that scene was great adn really well written and acted I just finished watching. Agreed that scene was well written and acted - but the "love" - however it was "meant"- should have been left out of it in my opinion. Confuses things too much for me. The fact that they were together in a "relationship," one which included vacation getaways, an intimate relationship etc, well, however she supposedly "loved Gabe," I think "cared about" would have been a better phrase for that scene. And as others have said, I wish they would just let the ship of that never sailed just die a natural death, not pretend, not even for a minute, that it was something that could have included the word "love." It was a plot device, and a pretty freaking bad one, since nobody actually bought it... so the fact that they choose to use the L word, now in the scripting, I mean, just let it go already. LOL. The fact that they tried to martyr Tori into some tortured hero with Les Miserables references at the end of her character arc, and now, choose to use the "L" word in a scene where Catherine herself is talking about her feelings for Gabe weeks after it is over, indicates for me at least, that TPTB won't let go of the fact that those ridiculous love triangles never worked to begin with. It's like trying to turn Austin Powers into the next James Bond. It just doesn't work. You can't use "Les Mis" references and the "L" word to try to make up for flimsy plot devices, it's a little too little too late, and suggestive that they realize they already failed and are trying to make things sound better by using big words, and making metaphors to tortured heroes. It's like putting really ornate frosting on a cake that is burnt and flat. What is the point exactly? In the end it still won't taste good.

Great episode. It deserves a re-watch One part I did not buy is when Cat was telling Gabe off: "I trusted you. I loved you. I believed that you had made amends for all the crap that you had pulled last year..." I do believe Cat trusted him but I do not think she ever loved him. The writers got that wrong. Forgivable I suppose since there were so many other nice moments. I was happy that Tess chose Cat and Vincent. And I was happy that even though Vincent was so angry at Gabe, V didn't kill off Gabe because then he would be going backwards.

My favorite part?? The SMACK heard across the entire police station!! About time you gave him one Catherine! LOL That smack! Lolol I feel like I have been waiting for that moment my entire life and it was satisfying. Yeah, would have been slightly more satisfying if she smacked him having never slept with him and all that ridiculous drama that didn't really work.... LOL. Just eweeeee. Catherine how could you? If it was her and Vincent being betrayed by their "friend Gabe" that scene would have been freaking golden.

Just finished watching a bit ago. Overall loved it.
Catherine chewing Gabe out was easily the highlight of the episode, other that the "L" word, business which I have already talked about.
Love JTnT interactions, including the way she woke him up, LOL, how pathetic he was with the bottle of booze and gummy bears (its like they know we love the gummy bear thing), and how they double crossed Gabe. I love them like this, all bickering and humorous banter, with just a bit of affection mixed in - like how she gave him the pills to kill the hangover, and then was like, "OKAY LETS GO!!" It is so good to see the supporting cast doing what they do best again. Also loved the way she wasn't taking his calls.
I didn't mind the case too much - it was useful the way they tied it together with "supposedly" exonerating Vincent.
I was slightly disappointed when it was revealed that the FBI kidnapped Cat. I was hoping it would be someone slightly more dangerous... like whoever was offing people in 2x17 - but I understand that they can't get to that too quickly or it will kill their 6-episode story arc... the dangerous unknown needs to remain as such for now...
Gabe is a bad baddie again. I love that. Finally. Although, I would like him to be a little more below the belt with his badness - if you know what I mean. Sending the swat team and stopping Vincent's exoneration is a good place to start, though. I thought it was odd that Catherine was suddenly not in trouble after being caught on video footage with the "fugitive." Or was Gabe still covering for her?
I loved the way the scooby gang never brought Gabe into the loop that something had actually happened to Cat. It was nice to see them keeping family business within the family - so to speak.
It was nice to see VinCat working together again :-) Despite, what I still consider to be some very very poor choices in storytelling and characterization, the universe has been righted in BATB-land. Gabe is a baddie and VinCat are kissing on rooftops, meeting in clandestine locations, and jumping out windows together... Not to mention JTnT. Did I mention how good it was to have them doing their thing again? LOL.
The last VinCat scene was lovely, but failed to really really do it for me. I love the romance - but last week, for the love of all that is holy in BATB land, takes the cake with recent VinCat scenes. I wanted it to be just a bit more bittersweet, or have just a bit more "Je ne sais quoi" (as the French say) - a phrase which has no English equivalent. "Something that cannot be described or expressed." It was nice but I didn't feel the magic. Of course that scene didn't need to be hot or sexy but it needed a little something magical to make it something for the books in terms of VinCat feels.
Plus, there was that super hot kiss right after he handcuffed her in 2x17 - we needed a hot fugitive kiss like that in this episode, somewhere. I mean I get that they didn't have time for the sexy - but that rescue at the UN was real dangerous - they could have had a hot kiss before that, or maybe after he tracked her and located her? I mean, one of those scenes could have played differently and upped the hotness combined with the danger. I mean he had tears in his eyes when he figured out what happened in her apartment. I mean I just think he should have laid on on her when he found her - not make out or anything - but just show the desperation a bit more. The handcuff kiss is the perfect example of what I'm talking about. Soooooo sexy.

I LOVED the episode but the scene that has stuck with me is the final VinCat scene! Man that scene was perfect!! I didn't know whether to laugh or smile or cry!! But my heart was thumping loudly and aching in my chest! Loved the kiss! LOVED the hug!! Loved that despite EVERYTHING VinCat have been through, they still smile and share light-hearted beautiful moments!! That last scene was EPIC ! ...oh yes, I've said it, epic epic epic, it was absolutely awesome! That "stupid" hug has in me tears now I just can't ..... Gabe, you're going to get your comeuppance very soon ....doesn't Gabe remind you of Jafar from Aladdin?

Hmm.. If i were one of the writers, i would have vetoed the 'i loved you' from cat. It would have sounded more possible if she had said 'i cared for you' instead of 'i loved you' She didn't have time to love Gabe. I'm taking that to mean she slept with him. I mean that's enough to make your skin crawl in itself.

This fab 4 is what I have liked from the start and for me Gabe will never be a part of it he just doesn't fit in after the fab four it's the three of them Vincent, Catherine and JT that I love it just work's but you put Gabe in the mix and like a smelly sock something is just off with it becuase for me it's either his way or no way sorry to anyone who wants him to stick around in season 3 but I really hope they don't, yes Sendhill has done a great job as Gabe but the writer's and who ever is fan girling over him need's to have him move on and like Vincent told Catherine they are bck to where they started and they started without Gabe and can contiune without him. And the thought of JT drunk and drowing his sorrow's was just especially with the gummie worms spread across the table, love how Tess woke him up Austin is so good I hope they have learnt their lesson with him to he needs to be in the episodes, loved to the chat he and Vincent had before Tess came in the cafe about Vaincent not saying goodbye to him I personally get why Vincent did'nt but it was nice to see Vincent saying sorry for it gotta love the bromance with these two it comes across as such a genuine friendship which like any friendship has a few hicups but both JT and Vincent know that they are their for each other and that's nice.
