ok that's it - not loving the episode but glad i am not hating it either Anapi, Catherine finds Vincent because of the bottle of wine. When she sees the guys unpacking Vincent's bagpack she sees the bottle of wine and says "Ceadar woods" or something like that... I knew that bottle would mean something because it was shot few times before that moment! lol ok so she saw that bottle and thought he went to cedar woods? or was that a message for her?
I edited my post. I think it's related to the conversation they had earlier where he told her to go to woods, under the stars... probably he mentioned her where to go...
ok - well that is a minor thing anyway, so i wont dwell on it!

ok i rewatched the episode, and I have to admit (once again) i am less negative about it now. i dont know what it is everytime i watch it first time I am more negative than second time round. COULD SOMEBODY EXPLAIN THIS TO ME PLEASE? SERIOUSLY, NOT SURE WHY THIS HAPPENS TO ME. even though i dont think it is poor, i still dont think it was a great episode though and there are things i liked and others i did not like about it DID NOT LIKE 1) how we have so many things happening in one episode - some scenes developed too fast, cat and dad got too cosy too soon, many more awkward moments needed. u need some episodes for dialogue of that type to happen, does not feel real. and he already starts asking her about boyfriends. all is too rushed IMO. and she did not question him enough either. though i did like the one line he delivered, about falling in love with a lost cause that was a good one liner 2) dialogue poor at points, some of the lines felts contrived. not sure the line between vincent and tori about having somebody special in your life was needed to be delivered in that way and then repeated by tori to catherine and also not sure about all the comments around humanity...could have been written better. also again repetition of honourable line by tess.. yawn 3) Absolutely hated this flatnining (or whatever it is called) storyline, completely non sensical IMO and i think that is one of the main things that mademe dislike the episode first time round. that whole thing was poor, wont even comment on it 4)tess - she really annoys me now, character is dull and redundant, what is her role at the moment other than to piss us off . 50 Gabe - again really confused with him, they better let u sknow soon what he is up to cause it is getting boring 6) No J.T. i need more JT he is the heart and soul of this show, i really dont understand why they do not fit him into the storyline, he is needed, we have an overload of tess and gabe scenes and both of them frankly bore me... 7) COULD SB PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW CAT FOUND OUT VINCNET WAS IN THE FOREST? I REALLY DONT GET THAT, SO IF SOMEBODY HAS AN IDEA PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME, I MAY HAVE JUST MISSED IT 8) confused about why each and every beast, even same generation ones react in completley different ways ok that's it - not loving the episode but glad i am not hating it either Pretty much agree with your liked/disliked list. Daddy Reynolds was bonding way too quick with Cat but maybe because they were both working the case, it allowed for them to bond quicker than I would have liked but okay. I cannot describe how much the flatline storyline bothers me. When Vincent is even making fun of it in the episode, I know that it's not a good idea. I think what irks me even more was the fact that at SDCC Sherri/Jen kept going on about Brad's great idea for why Gabe was still alive. In theory, it's a cool idea that his beast side died but human side lives on but I just think the execution is poor. Still don't hate Tess. I find her whole thing childish and hilarious. Wish they would develop her character more and I'm glad Cat called her out on her anti-V status. JT could have actually featured in this ep IMO it would have definitely rounded out some of the more slow moments but having already known that JT would not feature in this ep, I wasn't as annoyed but we need more of him and his storyline. Cat found Vincent in the woods because he mentioned that when he done with his missions, they would go away together to Cedar Woods. How she knew the EXACT spot he would be in, boggles the mind. I think the beasts react differently because maybe they weren't all given the same cocktail, plus also the person's own DNA may affect the way the beast qualities develop. But this is pure speculation. With Mr Windsor, maybe his was different because he actively chose to be a beast? Otherwise, pretty excited to see how Tori's 'gifts' will affect Vincent and VinCat. And possibly even Gabe?! Maybe his beast is dormant (that's what I've been thinking the whole time)

I agree with you both, to have the beast-side simply disappear if the person flatlines seems a bit to much like magic to me. Considering that this is in their DNA, and was a scientific experiment.

I also think Gabe's beast is not dead at all (so the flatline issue would soon disappear Anapi ). It would be great if writters go that way!!!

I think we are very demanding sometimes with our BATB!

Very true. Because it's part of his DNA, it makes it less plausible and BATB has always tried to maintain an element of realism, as least in terms of the science aspect of the show, so the whole Gabe thing just gets to me.

You're totally right, we are demanding when it comes to BATB! We're fully invested so it's expected.

To be honest, I like a lot the storyline of Tori and what she's able to do (witout even noticing!) The danger will come when she REALIZES what she can do and how to use it for her benefit! She seems a spoiled child, and recovering the old description of Tori as the evil on Vincent's shoulder as opposite to Catherine's influence on him... mmm... it really sounds very interesting! Tori will appeal the beasty side of Vincent and Catherine the human side... Man or beast?? who will win?? Well!!! I have NO DOUBTS ABOUT IT!!! But it will be very interesting to see how he finally decides his final identity!!!

Catherine finds the earring, " This had better be Tori's." the look on her face is perfect. I even had a laugh. (which s2 has not provided a lot of.)
