Although this thread is still in the spoilers section the thread will be turned into an episode thread. So I would like to kindly ask everyone not to post future episode spoilers in their posts. I had to edit a few post with spoiler warning. Thank you for your understanding!

ok that's it - not loving the episode but glad i am not hating it either Anapi, Catherine finds Vincent because of the bottle of wine. When she sees the guys unpacking Vincent's bagpack she sees the bottle of wine and says "Ceadar woods" or something like that... I knew that bottle would mean something because it was shot few times before that moment!

I really really liked the episode! I'll be back later with my thoughts but I thought it was a great episode that is leading us to the big mid-season finale! We don't need to have all the answers in one ep. It's a drama so that's what I want to see! Angst and struggles. And I don't think there's less magic between our VinCat, it's just that they're both dealing with too much at the moment to be busy shoving their tongues down each others throats. But all this drama will lead us to that sizzling moment!!!

ok i rewatched the episode, and I have to admit (once again) i am less negative about it now. i dont know what it is everytime i watch it first time I am more negative than second time round. COULD SOMEBODY EXPLAIN THIS TO ME PLEASE? SERIOUSLY, NOT SURE WHY THIS HAPPENS TO ME. I feel the same as you. The more I watched I like it better. I believe maybe it is because every single episodein S2 as a whole has so much (maybe too much) to tell in short 40 minutes. Packed and not well plotted, that's why we need more time for processing. u are probably right i may even love it third time round lol

Oh and did anyone else think that the writers intentionally brought in a red-head to play Tori and had Vincent tell her that he has someone special in his life to make up for last years Alex disaster and appease fans? I didn't mind the Alex arc but I know many fans did

As for Gabe, it will be interesting to see whether Tori awakens his 'dead' beast side. SPOILER* There is a picture of him in an upcoming episode where his hands seem to be shaking. Is that because of Tori's presence.*SPOILER END Interesting! OK, I've said it before that as much as I like Sendhil, I just can't warm to Gabe, which is good, as we're not supposed to like/love all characters. There's definitely something wrong with him, and he's up to something. But what I cannot figure out, is whether he really likes Catherine, or it's just a pretext for keeping Tess's nose out of his business, by convincing her that he wants in, just because he cares for Catherine and wants to make up for her saving his life.
I think you may have something worth further exploration with this point. Gabe is shady and he is up to something. There is no way that he can be that indebted to Catherine that he is willing to save Vincent for her, someone he has feelings for....???Come on now. He is playing mind games and Tess better wise up and warn her friend otherwise a disaster is looming.

I didn't mind the Alex arc but I know many fans did I think they brought in a red head to confuse us. They knew all of us would be thinking there will be a love triangle since he seems to have a soft spot for red heads. Instead we discover she emits some sort of scent that scatters beasts' control. It worked well.

I didn't mind the Alex arc but I know many fans did I hope you don’t take this personally, Zena, because I’m really not trying to pick a fight with you, but I have to say this. Can people stop saying that Tori is compensation for Alex? It makes me want to scream! Ugh! I don’t see how Vincent telling a complete stranger that he’s involved with someone can possibly erase the fact that he went back to Cat only because Alex dumped his sorry ass.

He is playing mind games and Tess better wise up and warn her friend otherwise a disaster is looming. My point exactly! OK, maybe honorable people would do such things, but being "noble" (as Tess told Gabe), in my opinion, is far from Gabe's personality. He tried to kill Vincent last season to save himself for God's sake! Yes, people can change blah blah, but I'm not buying this. I think he's just trying to keep Tess away from figuring out why he's so into helping VinCat, as she's always concerned about Catherine (Sorry guys! I actually like Tess ), so he has his involvement justified to some extent. And what is he really up to ? Hopefully we'll find out soon. Or, maybe as the season's theme is "Who Am I?", he's just trying to be a good person and find his humanity back - which I highly doubt
