anapi...your #7 Dislike was the logic jump I was referring to in my post. She saw the Daddy Beast body guards going through the backpack they took from the boathouse, sees a map and immediately knows 'Cedar Woods'! I realize she's 'not stupid'...but seriously? This gal can certainly put 1 + 1 together....same laser logic last week that put swimming pool donation card together with graduation picture producing immediate realization....That's my DAD!! Come on people....disappointing logic to me.

LOL! Anyway, we shouldn't be so strict with these small details. I've seen many of these in other TVshows and they don't bother me that much! I think we are very demanding sometimes with our BATB! I hope we are right savana cause I don't want to be fixated on the flatline. You're totally right, we are demanding when it comes to BATB! We're fully invested so it's expected. yes we shouldn't worry too much about details oh and hadnt heard it first time round but did u notce what cat said when she saw the jewellery in the boathose? "this better be tori's" , lol thought that was the funniest line of all this episode
Yes!! LOL I noticed and was really fun! That would have been my exact thought in her place!!
there is agreek expression which says "the world is in flames, and she is combing her hair". but yes, that is EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT IF I WAS HER" LOL

Catherine finds the earring, " This had better be Tori's." the look on her face is perfect. I even had a laugh. (which s2 has not provided a lot of.) Finally some jealousy from Catherine. I laughed too. That showed she still cares deeply for him.

I liked the episode. It is indeed a game changer and I agree with Savana and Yolie, Tori's gift is dangerous to beasts. They react violently. It will be interesting to find out whether her father gave it to her or Agent Reynolds is involved with her too. It seemed too convenient that the intel he gave Vincent about Tori's Dad wasn't complete. He was expecting something to happen there.
As for Gabe, it will be interesting to see whether Tori awakens his 'dead' beast side. SPOILER *There is a picture of him in an upcoming episode where his hands seem to be shaking. Is that because of Tori's presence.*SPOILER END
I also loved that Catherine didn't run away from Vincent after the heart incident. She went to his place, not scared at all but wanting to find out what was going on. That is a relationship for you - through all the loop de loops.

All in all, I liked this ep. Much more than "Reunion", that's for sure. I thought it was interesting the way Tori's power affects beasts. It sure explains a lot about some spoilers. I'm convinced that Tori will play a major part on Gabe's "dead beast" issue. Anapi, remember S1 when Vanessa told Vincent that every soldier responded in a different way to the DNA's cocktail? That's why every beast has a different power.

I agree with you both, to have the beast-side simply disappear if the person flatlines seems a bit to much like magic to me. Considering that this is in their DNA, and was a scientific experiment. Very true. Because it's part of his DNA, it makes it less plausible and BATB has always tried to maintain an element of realism, as least in terms of the science aspect of the show, so the whole Gabe thing just gets to me. I have been waiting for some sign that Gabe is changing back since the beginning of the season, when it was explained how he survived. Other wise why is Gabe still around?

hey everybody!
Been a long time since I haven't posted in here. I loved the show from instant one in season 1... This second season confuses me. I don't know where writers are going, it seems so inconsistent to me. First 3 episodes were OK, episode 4 was awesome and then two last ones disappointed me. A lot. Especially episode 6. why? positive points: KK and JR actings are great. They make their characters believable. They have this beautiful connection and that chemistry between those two is beyond amazing. Love how his memories are coming back, and how we slowly see Catherine is the person who keeps him human and man. More than JT, I guess, because there's that strong love between them. I understand why Vincent is confused: getting his memories back, getting some humanity back, and then going to that awful creature in him that he doesn't control all the time.
negative points - so many plots. going everywhere: Cat bonding with her bio dad, VIncent becoming less human, Tori being a 2nd generation beast, Gabe and Tess constantly repeating Vincent isn't good for Cat, Gabe shady feelings... - I didn't believe even for one second that Tori could be an interesting character - beast to beast fights are annoying. and this heart thing? are we in Vampire diaries? - Catherine hearing from her entourage "are you happy with him? is he always here whenever you need him?" I don't get why they don't respect her choices to be with him. She obviously chose him, knowing all the risks. SHe isn"t a weak person. She knows what she's doing. Why trying to make her doubt that way ALL EPISODES LONG? That doesn't make sense. - no JT. I seriously miss him. The character is bringing so much to the show. I read writers wanted to explore his character more. When? - Gabe and his flatlining plans? It doesn't work. Why is he so insistant? I can't explain how much his character changed from season 1 to season 2? like night and day. I don't think his beast is dead.
Well, I love BatB, I loved it from the start and will support the show until the end. Hope next episode will be more consistent, with good lines. I think the Agent Reynolds character is very interesting and a good add to the show but please, stop with that modified voice. I can't wait him and Vincent meeting up.

She would defend him to the death! Even when she was questioning what he was doing. What I liked re Vincent and Catherine is this ep is that I still see a bit of a struggle with him about what he's doing. When he's in 'kill-beast' mode, he's very focused on that, and I'm even surprised he went along with the flatline idea. But when he's talking to her about his last missions and whether they affect him, you can see that they truly do. Even after he killed Windsor in the way he did, he looked a little troubles by that and the comment he made to Cat about 'wishing he knew what triggered it' stuck out to me.

A lot of stuff will go done in 7 and 8 and all of this will lead up to something big in those eps. That's what I feeling and I'm very excited for it!
