Quick question (and apologies if it has already been addressed here): Do we think Vincent heard Cat and Gabe's conversation from the roof? Did he know they had broken up? How did he know that Gabe wouldn't be there if he turned up? Or didn't he? Semantics I know, but curious... Vincent left the doors of her balcony open, so if she had come up with Gabe she would have just seen it and not go up. Which of course did not happen!!!!! But yes, he could have perfectly heard their conversation, or seen her leaving the car as it pulled out. And yes, I think he was pretty confident that Gaberine was death, like death-death, and Vincat was back-back!! P.S.: When, oh when is this show coming back!!! ?

Dr. Freud here with an attempt at scene analysis.
Opening scene - Vincent's arm holding Catherine tightly like a cherished object that isn't completely his yet.
End scene - Vincent on his tummy sleeping with a smile knowing that he doesn't have to hold onto his treasure.....she IS his and isn't going anywhere. If you love something set it free. If it is yours, it will return.
Comparison between ADA and Catherine versus Vincent and Catherine - fully clothed versus nekkid as jay birds.....'nuff said.

You know I said that same exact phrase a while back.. "if you love someone set them free...If she comes back...it was meant to be" I love that phrase so much and it's true not only in storytelling but in real life.

The only thing Catherine may be sorry about is that things did not work out with "(now nonexistent letter)" because she cared about him....but the only thing I am sorry about is that she started things with him in the first place, because I really did not care about him and still don't.
I can't read everything I have missed, so please forgive me if I repeat something that has already been said....in the final scene at the ball, I believe that Catherine had already made her decision and that both Vincent and " ____" knew at that moment that she had picked Vincent...the looks amongst the three of them were amazing-Catherine letting Vincent know that she wanted to be with him and at the same time knowing that she would have to let "____" know her decision; "_____" reading everything that was going on, on both Catherine and Vincent's faces and recognizing that he had been defeated; Vincent turning back to look at Catherine knowing that all he had to do was go and wait for her at her apartment...feeling both victorious and humbled at the same time...that was a perfect scene.

Hey - I'm a newbie so please excuse if this is not the place to ask a Q, but does anything else think the rose V gave C at the end was an acknowledgement of the rose campaign?

Our thread for the Rose Campaign begins in mid-March but we would need to know when the writers finished that episode. Probably well before that.
