Not sure why you read my posts, they merely mirror your thoughts also! LOL!!! Well I remember that have happened a while back! You posted a few comments and no one saw what you wrote... but that's another story. Why I read your posts?? Probably because I am crazy! ..... "Probably because I am crazy!" .... Now my friend, you finally realize our connection! LOL!!!!

to me the fact that they kissed felt so right! and i think he (vincnet) felt the same, I think he felt so much love from her, that it evoked emotions of love in him, even though he doesnt remember her, he has an incredible connection with her, hence the kiss I don't think he kisses her because he felt so much love for her. He doesn't know her; I think it's definitely because he feels this undeniable connection with her (regardless of whether he understand what it is or what it means or not) and also to comfort her (did you see the desperation in that kiss on Cat's side? It was so intense, great job by KK) and to somehow put her at ease IMO i agree, i didnt say he felt love for her, i said he felt love from her and had this connection..and yes, also agree linked to that love from her he felt the need to comfort her and make her feel better

You have to know someone to truly love them. I think he feels a physical attraction towards her ( quote; you are really hot!) and he knows that they are meant to have an "epic" relationship but that is in turmoil because he feels guilt in not being able to respond to her overwhelming emotions coming at him. To me, Vincent in the last three months has been following basic orders and thinking of himself as a soldier but on those lonely days on the boat, there must have been moments of " Who am I?? What am I???" and then this beautiful women comes along, who seems to love him unconditionally and risks her own life to find him. The pivotal moment came just as he was leaving her apartment ... she says, " I don't understand, why they keep hurting you!" That is what struck him, someone who understood his pain and that to me was the moment he felt a real connection, apart from his protective instincts towards her. I don't think we ever kiss people on the mouth because we feel sorry for them but because we feel attraction. I think he will still feel like he is on a Mission but Catherine will continue to tap away at his human side. Right now I think Vincent see's himself as a Beast but this women makes him feel emotions that he does not understand ... But he will, it might just take four episodes for him to realize! LOL!!! Personally speaking I am loving the restraint kiss they shared last night because when Vincent does remember her that passionate kiss where he grabs her, will be off the charts!!! totally agree with what u say, also what i said above is not that he feels real love for her , but he felt the love from her, he clearly understood she loved him to death which obviously hit a cord. that along with the emotional connection and physical attraction made him kiss her

I don't know! Honestly it never even appeared to me that his eyes never glow during the ep. This whole story is just crazy! I so wanna know why did Vincent go for the kiss right on the first meet. He is so determined it scares me! Oh my God, I LOVE these mixed feelings I have! cos he thinks catherine was "smoking hot"? On a serious note, i think he's feeling the pull. after all he did say to cat that he believed her about "them"

Can anyone tell me what is that Vince says to Cat after the kiss before he goes in for the second one? She asks him not to leave. Then they kiss. Then VK says, 'I won't.' In reference to not leaving. *siiiiggghhhh* that whole last scene was soooo.... let me see "achingly romantic?" yup, damn aching. i actually felt OUCH!! i've seen that scene a few times already and still have tears in my eyes every time i watched it :'(The music really didn't help!!

First I want to say welcome back beasties and I can't wait to read everyone's roller coaster of emotions reviews. They are always fun to read. So I was totally weak and gave into the temptation and watched the episode even though I'm in the U.S. But no fear I will watch again tonight. I agree that this season is going to be so different from the first and I'm so excited! I love how they are shooting some scenes in New York which gives it more of a legit feeling that the story is taken place there and more believable. The scene where Catherine is driving gives a good example. VinCat scenes, roller coaster of emotions just came flooding in. Happy that they found him, sad and heartbreaking when he didn't remember them, when he said her name and then how the look on her face when he didn't remember. OMG I just can't. Vincent is definitely beast 2.0. I like how in the scene where they show his new power the whole tracking thing, how he moves is like a solider , kinda robot like. It makes it more believable with the whole super solider thing. I like the new changes they did with the beast make up and there is a bit of special effects from the ending where he jumps down from the tree and his face changing to normal. They really amped up the beast. I can't wait to see what other new powers he has and also what other animal DNA he has. The memory loss, I know it is just the first episode but I'm thinking about Vincent being a doctor and just wanting to help people and him being fully super solider mentality. I just wonder how they are going to bring that up. There's just so many things to have Vincent remember, it will be very interesting to see how it all comes together. The last scene at her apartment. when she finally let go and cried after reading Heather's text. I really loved that scene because from the beginning to that scene, you see how she was keeping it all in with everything that was going on like her father passing, new changes at the precinct, then finally finding Vincent, then him not remembering, him getting away then finding him again. That is one crazy day I would break down too. This scene for me other than him pin pointing her heartbeat and breathing and saving her life, it showed that the old Vincent is still there. How he hugs her and the look on his face when she's crying to him. He is not all super solider. There is so much I want to talk about but my thoughts are just scrambled. I'm still processing everything. I am really excited for this season

We had a bit of a tease and then the first kiss. Of course this one will be a bit longer of a tease and when that moment comes with the Vincent remembering and THAT KISS will be as you say of the charts! Just the fact that Vincent remembers so all the memories and strong feelings for Catherine and along with falling in love again, I think that would make that moment wonderful.

There are some things that I really like about this episode and the "idea" of the direction that they are going with the beast and also towards the mythology however I had some real issues with this episode too, not to be Debbie Downer, sorry. I just feel like a lot of it did not translate to the screen. The pace seemed fast, yes but a lot of things felt forced to me. Like and effort to sweep some things under the rug and tie up the lose ends. You could see it. It was so in your face in some of the dialogue. Like lets show this in a dream. Lets talk this one out and explain away Joe and meet and kill the head of Muirfield all in one breathe. Lets read everything into one text and I may still be trying to figure out the climax of this episode. Maybe because I did not see it on the big screen. Perhaps that would have made a difference in the feel and hearing the music and its not to take away from the actors performances but even though I think it was expotentially better than the finale some of this stuff could have been spread out over a few episodes. I really think that if Vincent lost his memory and did not remember Cat than the writers should have committed to that. Their confrontations and encounters should be awkward and tense with no kissing IMO. Instead we get apologies, kissing, hugging, and apparently comforting from a beast all in the first episode when he couldn't even do that when he first met her.. i would have been fine with her just fixing his boo bobo. I just feel like if its a well written script you don't need to have your characters explain away the plot points and tell people what to feel and what is going to happen. Like "epic", "meant to be" "fall in love all over again" "this is how we met" so it is not so much that Cat came across as obsessed more like they were giving her too much to do in 1 episode. I mean there is a lot of stuff to process from everyone given what they have endured over the last 3 months as characters and I feel like we didn't see that. Except for maybe Tess, LOL. But maybe that was the point to pretty much get rid of the place they were put in in the finale so they can redirect this season. I really feel like episode 2 has got to be better because this didn't feel like that wow season premiere to me anyway. Don't kill me. LOL I still love the show and think the editing was 10x better and some visual aspects as well. But maybe I have to watch a few times. Sorry to rain on the parade!!!! Missed the glowing eyes too.

I agree about the exposition. There was way too much of it in the beginning. I prefer it when things happen and we figure it out for ourselves rather than them telling us what was happening. The exposition in the beginning was doing my head in.

Just one quick post, this may be kinda stupid but I just realized after looking at some promo pictures, Vincent can walk freely now (well he is being track but still). I guess I'm so use to the whole hiding away thing. But he can walk freely and has money. Obviously because he is not being hunted down by M and all. He can go out in the open publicly with Catherine. This is definitely going to be a different season in a good way.

OMG!!! I died dead !!! LOL I couldn´t wait until today and yesterday I saw it and loved it! Although it is sad in parts, it is also very different, looks like another series that adds visual and lot! The chemistry of Vincat still intact , but now Vincent is so different and Cat is so overwhelmed by everything that I understand his ways. Today I'm going to see the episode again .. and whenever I can!! LOL Now, I´m going to start reading all post and comments...wooow 6 pages!

this is my third time watching it LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
I sign every single word all of you have said here, it was beyond my expectations, was SOOOOOOO AMAZING, more than I expected
It felt so different from season 1, it was like watching a new show, they left me speechless from the right beginning, they've done so many improvements, technically speaking, it's awesome!!!
about Cat, I don't understand why people said she was creepy, honestly, I found she more than normal, considering what she's been through during these three months (and I have to say KK is more than awesome, as always )
Vincent is.........I don't know what to say...I thought it wouldn't be impossible for me to love him more than I do, but IT IS, he is sooo different, he's a super super soldier, so mysterious and distant (and a bit scary sometimes^^), just following instructions, but we can see that hidden feelings too, it's amazing how he goes and save Cat instead of killing that guy, his feelings/emotions/connection/atraction are STILL there, in a very 'deep place' at the moment, but we know they'll show up at some point (and can't find the words to describe JR, I could be writing for hours here,LOVE HIM LOVE HIM LOVE HIM )
Vincat scenes are MORE THAN AWESOME, that kiss is AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH of course he doesn't know who she is, so he's not feeling 'that love' yet, but he feels something, the HUGE chemistry/connection is there
and when Cat breaks down and starts crying is so heartbreaking, I was in tears too, she has contained SO MUCH in those three months....and Vincent was there to comfort and hold her...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can't stop watching and 're-watching' this scene btw thanks Zena for the gifs, love them love the scene when he is leaving and JT tries to stop him, that smile was and of course, heartbreaking too when JT shows Vincent their pic...it brought a tear to my eye
I quite like Cat's real father too, and Gabe...he's trying so hard to amend all he has done..'obviously' no one wants him to be around at the moment, but I have to admitt I like him because he'll have it very difficult to fit in now, let's see how he deals with it
all I can say is it's far too perfect, better than I expected, I'm sooooooooo happy I can't stop watching it all over again, and can't wait for the next one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
