Best moment for me was when kk was dancing... She's got some moves. That part was my favorite too! This was me while watching KK dancing: I'm totally adding these smileys to the forum because of that. Once I'm done with my homework And when KK was fighting I was like: Yes, I love you, Cat! *.*

I see what you're saying. I agree with you to some extent. I have to be honest I am more shocked about Cat's attitude towards Vincent in this episode. Granted she knows its not his fault but she is obviously fed up with beasts infringing on the simplest of things in her life. She treated him like a nuisance this whole episode IMO and complained while her friends pretty much cheered her on. The warm fuzzy ending from episode 4 is now where to be found. She jumped out of her skin when he was at the window, something she never did and basically excoriated him for not using the front door. That personally shocked me. Has he ever. I saw this as the beginning of the end or at least that is what they want us to think and they want us to think that Gabe is a viable option for her especially now that he is supposedly not a beast. They laid that on thick and I think if anything judging by Vincent looking at Gabe walk to "look after her" (something he can't do) he may just give her up thinking that is what she needs or wants or just deserves. He realized what she has given up. He said so and he was surprised by her feeling about having to put up with him. He may push her away. She was all nice to Gabe while Vincent is inviting trouble for her apparently which he realized to. She was pushing him away IMO . So I guess she could flirt with idea of a more suitable alternative now like with Gabe than to a life with a beast. She obviously wants to be sympathetic to Vincent but is so caught up in the drama. The relationship is off the rails. They both are going to have along way back. Im just nervous of the mistakes they will make that will put them in that position. This episode has me pessimistic. The only way they can make Cats relationship with Evan different than Gabe is if they actually make her semi-intrestested. IMO Yikes!!! The wedge is being created because Vincent is not himself and Cat doesn't know who she is either. It's the blind leading the blind. LOL Yeah, asking V to use the door? He rarely used the door and it was OOC for Cat to be startled when she saw V at her window.

She's so adorable and beautiful at the same time. How can that be? It's because KK is not human . Katie and I used to say KK was cylon. She gets better every year I can't stop watching the part where she's dancing haha. I need to stop . It's 2AM here and I have school in 4 hours. I haven't finished my homework I'll leave and I won't come to check the forum until I'm done. Don't throw tomatoes at each other while I'm gone. Just kidding

She's obviously not referring to everything that the writers are portraying but the storylines that ARE obviously inconsistent and confusing. In this episode, it sure was inconsistent because Vincent had supposedly left Alex without a word - he never officially broke up with her (according to Season 1), now we're hearing that they had taken a break and that's when he had this fling (trying to justify it. What's inconsistent too is his character - a man on integrity wouldn't just have a fling with another woman (and Gabriela apparently loved Vincent according to Zack) while still being engaged to another....Wasn't he out of character during the arc too. All in all, I didn't like the episode. Don't like where they're going with this. Didn't like the love scene between Vincent and Gabriela, didn't like the end with Catherine and Gabe and didn't 'feel it' in the end when Vincent kissed CAtherine was saying nice things to her. For the first time since season 2 came back on this was my least favourite episode and here's why did'nt like the way that Vincent pushed JT to one side to go and bond with Zach even though he went to the bar with them for me Vince clearly did'nt want him there and that is not something Vincent would do to JT after all he has given up for him, did'nt like the look on Vince's face when he had the flshback of Gabrielle or when he looked at the waitress the big grin and smile he had on his face should be the look he had when he remembered Catherine not some random hook up he had in the army while leaving a certain red head behind even when Zach told Vince he was lucky to have her there was no emotion on his face to show this and how much Cat does actually mean to him so I do get why Cat was pissy with that responce as he's obvioulsy told zach how important Cat is to him but he has'nt told Cat the same bit of information. I don't personally see Cat as being off pushing Vince away especially if he is going to get all up close and personal with Tori which I still think is going to happen she just wants a girls night and a reunion with her old school friends people she knew before Vincent came into her life she's not giving up on Vince or them becuase as soon as she know's or thinks he's in trouble she's there but for just one night she wanted to be free of it and I don't feel bad for Vince he went off and played pool instead of chatting with JT and clearly was loving the time at the bar not giving Cat a second thought so for me why should Cat miss a school event if he can have a night out so can she. Like I said did'nt like the visual of Gabriella and felt it was un called for and Vince's reaction was ughhhhhhh I get why Zach picked at him with her but they did'nt have to make Vince look so happy that he got laid. Did like when Gabe and Vincent both turned up and it made me laugh when they both had a hold of her arm but did notice that it was Gabes grip she was trying to get out of and not Vincent's now I do think that Gabe does have a thing for Cat and also think that the episode ' Man or Beast' could also be Cat deciding if she maye does want to try something with Gabe becuase the beast stuff is to much as much as she loves Vince and Gabes know's this but if Tori is going to be a temptress then I see another image like Vince and Gabriella not good. Did'nt like that Cat did show Gabe the photo's of her and not Vince but as sweet as the kiss was I wish that Vince would take his dam hands out of his pockets and hold her face like he used to. So at the moment i'm 50/50 with this episode and just feel very uneasy for the followering episodes and the cliff hanger.

I LOVED the episode! I have yet to be disappointed by an episode this season Regarding that flashback, I didn't notice the 'other' woman as I was too busy checking out Vincent's body and hair!! It's a very quick flashback and kinda blurry so I didn't mind it. All I have to say is I can't wait for Vincent to get flashbacks of his and Catherine's first time and feel the deep love, desire and connection he has with her I was just disappointed that VinCat didn't dance during that slow-dance music at her reunion. I expected Vincent to ask her for a dance and then get flashbacks of their first dance in Bridesmaid Up I can't wait for episode 6!!!

The jumping out of her skin did'nt bother me becuase as well as you know someone if your not expecting to see them and they suddenly appear it can make you jump and he did appear from behind her curtain also the front door bit for me was just more because he is no longer in hiding and had used the front door when he brought her flowers she just seemed a bit suprise he still chose the window now I personally like the window as it is one of their things and I hope they keep it in the show with him using the front door ocassionally but the window and fire escape is a Vincat trade mark and needs to be left in IMO

Front door is sooo old school anyways

I would first like to say Welcome! to our new beasties on the forum. I saw some new ones as I was reading the posts. Just a quick one, I still have to watch it again and then give my full review. I liked the episode because we have more of an insight of Vincent's past and also a bit of Catherine's. The guy who plays Zack, Blair Redford did a wonderful job. The fight scenes with him and Vincent were pretty awesome. I like how we're are seeing more beast on beast fights especially how there are different types of beasts which makes the fight scenes more interesting. They fight with different styles because of their different "cocktail" mix. Love the JT and Vincent bonding scene just hoped for a bit more but they probably will have a bigger scene later. Was it just me who found it funny how JT greeted Zack. It was just funny how he was all like yeah I went to his funeral with a smile on his face. I know it was a kind of happy moment when you find out that someone wasn't killed and all but I just found that whole scene funny. The whole Gabriella thing. I agree with what crazyforv and spydancer had pointed out. I didn't see that is was that bad. Yes there was a flashback of them hooking up but it was just a flashback. It was quick. Lets not put too much attention to it. Obviously VinCat's scene was much better. But it is just part of a memory, part of Vincent's past. As JT said it was a fling. Alex and Vincent were separated at that time. I will say more after I watched the episode again and did a bit of research during the Alex arc. There is a bit of a timeline to think of. Tess, yeah it's a bit annoying for me that she kept bugging Gabe about having feelings for Catherine ever since Liar Liar but I do love Tess and Gabe's interaction with each other. It's funny how she teases him and he tries to cover it up. This episode showed more of how their partnership is starting and becoming more comfortable with each other especially with the teasing. But it is really going to hurt Tess if Gabe goes down the bad road and she will be pissed. But for now I am enjoying their interaction and then more with the Trio and JT and T. Oh and Gabe coming in all serious and then realizing Vincent was there . Loved his reaction. Beth is probably going to annoy me with all her trying to find the truth and having a big story. It is not going to go very well. Okay last one (hopefully). I really hoped for a better way of Catherine finding out about bio dad. Instead of one picture, they could have shown a bit more like her track one they could have shown him somewhere in the crowd watching. Gabe could have mentioned Reynolds coming in the precinct and asking about her and stuff. That would have made it more realistic of Catherine suspecting that Reynolds his her bio dad. Not just from the donation and graduation picture. If that is all it took then Catherine is an awesome detective. Haha. But then again, I guess being at the graduation is something big that could have you think plus he was at her father's memorial thing but then again he went there to confirm his suspicion. Well that is all for now.

I see what you're saying. I agree with you to some extent. Thanks, I appreciate you listening to my POV. I have heard yours. I don't want to pick a fight. The shock of what was revealed tonight blew my mind. As I explained to spydancer, we all seem to have different ideas of what V and Alex's relationship was at the time he deployed. What it actually was makes a HUGE difference to me and how I react to this new info. If someone is "cheating" on a loved one back home, then yeah, I'm gonna be judgmental of that! That doesn't fit V's character as portrayed by the show in the past. That is my main sticking point with this part of the ep. That's all. No worries, I don't mind a debate or a difference of opinion, I think I was more trying to fully understand your perspective. If it came off combative that was not the intention.

At the end of the episode I was left with my heart breaking for Vincent! I just want to hug him! You guys are talking about how he cheated on Alex and his treatment of Gabriella, J.T and Catherine while I saw this episode as the beginning of Vincent's path to true self-discovery! It is clear that by the end of the episode Vincent is kind of shocked at what he has discovered about his former life and some of the decisions he made. When Zack tells him about Gabriella he was quick to ask 'But wasn't I engaged to this Alex girl?' I think he is discovering that he wasn't a good friend or guy in the past. The new Vincent 2.0 will also be a stronger and better man BECAUSE of Catherine and that's what he tells her during the last scene. That if it wasn't for HER and HER LOVE he would also still be lost I also had the feeling after watching that final Vincent/Gabe scene that Vincent feels and senses that Gabe has feelings for Catherine and indirectly asks him to keep an eye out for her because he realised after the whole reunion party that she needs the normal guy. That end scene where Gabe enters the hall where Catherine is sitting while Vincent exits then turns and watches him had great symbolism! One entering Catherine's life while the other is leaving. We know that VinCat is end game and Catherine will never love another guy like she loves Vincent but I don't mind the tension and angst I have a feeling that the writers have a huge prize for us in store when Vincent finally fully remembers J.T and Catherine! They're going to be beautiful and memorable scenes!

So at the moment i'm 50/50 with this episode and just feel very uneasy for the followering episodes and the cliff hanger. I think for me, seeing Vincent with any girl that's not Cat, my initial reaction is to throw things! So I can get your vibes. But as much as it bothered me, I totally understood it. Vincent is getting these memories of his past and if course if it's a good memory, the reaction would be to smile and enjoy it. So I wasn't too mad that he was visually enjoying the flashbacks to Gabrielle. And I agree about Cat. I think she just wanted to have one day free of all the beast drama which I think she's entitled too. Even Vincent mentioned in Hothead that he didn't want to be a 'pain in the ass' for her. What I did love at the end scene with Cat and V at the reunion talking before the kiss, was in true old school Catherine and Vincent form, they told each other exactly how they were feeling and hey discussed it together. I like that that element is back once again, as they continue to build that trust back up between each other. I really loved that part.
