OMG loved this episode they just keep getting better & better finally Vincent has some flashes and felt so sorry for him on the fire escape but you can where Catherine is coming from but a part if me was tell her not to shut the window on him Sebastian I though was a interesting beast and that he has but doubt into Vincent mind about agent Reynolds looks like the fight for Catherine has begun it will be interesting to see how Vincent reacts to Gabe when he finds out he also like Catherine.

And while they were dancing vincent tells her that she's doing all this simply to get revenge and she was what??? Revenge, how could you say this?? she tells him that she put a scarf the whole day simply to cover what he has done to her, and she 's doing all this because she cares about him but he, he used to lie about their memory in order to get rid of her... she was so upset... oooo vincent 2.0 is bad! could he get to be more of a jerk??!! (ok, my son just complained as i was typing this. he said if he was talking to me and i ignored him, i AM definitely with something on batb on the pc) lol dont think he was much of a jerk this episode, i did feel sorry for him today

the last scene was so heartbreaking, we see Vincent on the fire escape and then Catherine comes & opens the window & asks him if it's JT who told him about the fire escape.. he said no he simply remembered and that he really remembers her but Catherine was so distant, she told him like she's so fed up with all the lies in her life, how her parents lied to her and that she cannot do it anymore, he tried to convince her and I guess I can understand her reactions, because she told him we are lying to each other, where in their relation before they never did.. And I guess the hardest thing is when she closes the window & he was still on the fire escape oh oh.... i have a huge feeling i'm DEFINITELY be needing some tissue i thought the whole episode was sad actually

So many emotions the hurt look on Vince's face when she closed the window on him I really did just want to hug him I get and agree why she did it because yes she lied but it was about work not about something special between the two of them and like she told Vince on the dance floor he chose to do that on his own and that's gonna hurt that she once again thought that they were getting somewhere to find it they were backwards again instead of going foward. Agree about Cat and Heather it was beautifully done they portray sisters so well even though Heather can be annoying you really felt for her in this episode keeping something that important and big from Cat couldn't have been easy. Totally agree to about Cat putting walls up there is only so much a person can take and as she tells Vince she's reached her limit which is why I felt for him finally he satrts to remember things and promises to not push her away but it's to late she's been told one to many lies and at this moment refuses to listhen to anymore even from Vince becuase she will still susupect that he is lieing and maybe getting his info from JT like she did with the fire escape and not beleiving him when he told her that it was a memory, i'm hoping though that she does ask JT just to put her own mind at rest on that score. Now I know not everyone agrees with having Gabe as a potential love interest for Cat but for me I think it would work better than just some random ex popping up in Cat's life and the reason I say this is becuase Vince had trust issues with Gabe before thinking that he was into Catherine and fancied her which made him jealous now let's say that they do put Cat and Gabe kinda together ( straight off have to say I don't want that it's Vincat all the way for me) it would in turn make Vince realize even more how much he has hurt Cat by the lieing and pushing her and so make him work even harder to win her trust, love, understanding back. Becuase like she told him in the relactionship he can't fully remember they never lied to each other. Having now seen the dance part in full for Jay in a suit and also for the sheer chemistry and sexual tension that was coming off them Vince was so suprised by Cat's ballsy attitude it was brilliant to see. Have to say to loved how they showed him his first memories and the hug was just because even though he had hurt her when he beasted out on the rooftop this time he had beasted out but she just looked at him the way she used to and that was nice to see. I did like to that Cat knew he was at the window but hesitated by the bed before going to open it and see what Vince had to say and then did a small step back when Vince came of the stairs and leaned on the window sill. she really has her walls up now and defences and boy is Vince going to have to work hard to get them down and stay focsed on his mission too, you could see for me anyway that he is starting to struggle with it when Reynolds phoned him and Vince thought it was Cat just the look on his face was ' oh it's you not her ' All in all I loved and hated the episode the only hate part was how broken both Cat and Vincent looked at the end and when she closed the window on him and just walked away that was I do hope though that someone does that moment in slo motion to rally show the impact it ad on Vincent he looked like someone had stolen his puppy yes, yes agree with your review as well. the only think i'd say is that though they looked completely broken this was essential so they can come back together again in better terms and with no lies or secrets, so though I am sad sad sad, I think it is for the good.

I know i'm terrible and because here in the UK we won't get it back until after xmas I'm like I can't wait that long to see how this will unfold and then when I rewatch it and tape it to re watch again I'll know what's coming and know that we will get out Vincat back on track. It's terrible come monday mornings i'm straight onto my favourite site where I can watch episodes and watch it at least 3 times i'm totally hooked there is no hope for me same here, will watch it when back in the UK as well as many times when on the cw lol (with tunnelbear) but there is no way i would wait to watch it first time round when it aired in the UK, lol

^^ I do agree that them being broken was very essential. In order to improve you have to sometimes have to be broken to know where you need fixing. Their relationship has been pushed down in a sense and the only way to go is up. It will just make them strong individually and stronger together.

Well, now Vincent is going to have to EARN Catherine trust. And she needs to be clear about that before she starts opening up her legs again.
If he wants a relationship. Well start earning it in beginning with episode four.

I need to digest the episode, read all your posts and then we'll see... soo did u like it I loved it! Despite the sense of sadness along the whole episode, I liked it a lot! What I liked the most is that, so far, there are no plotholes! They addressed really good the lying stuff vs Vincent's senses... aww... there are so many things I need to share about this ep... Just one that came up to my mind... It's very convenient for Reynolds to always contact Vincent over the phone so he can not be discovered lying to him! Definetely Vincent is in his list of beasts to be killed and probably his intention is to kill him when Vincent kills all other beasts! Another thing that left me wondering... this Nigel (Sebastian's father).. I have the feeling he will have a larger role in the tvshow! I remember writers posted a quote or something like that saying "who is Nigel"? I found that character vey interesting, with that british accent, all misterious... mmmm he may have something more to tell! Maybe I'm going crazy now but I can see him as a future ally of Vincent!! Mmm... just giving glimpses of my thoughts but I will try to elaborate better and more organised later!

Canada and Others: Thanks for all the scoop a day ahead.
It seems that unlike other networks, CW doesn't think this move will affect this show's US ratings.
Any other shows doing this?

dont meant to be harsh but this ep was a lil bit let down from the pevious ep last week they had a beast connected to a international drug dealer to a beast who is here for revenge in this ep the only good thing came out of this ep is that bio dad has a list which contains "kill list" and vincent is in on it. its just a matter of ep where we gonna see vincent on the run again (in ep 208) the situation vincent is now is the "perfect screw up" he cant go either side one will have a grudge for killing their own and the other side will be hunting down i think this is where tori char comes into play "fbi will not know about her considering fbi knows only about the dad" and this is how vin gonna communicate with the gang in the later part. in 22 episodes there will always be some bad eps but u cant set up an ep with high power storyline in a begining of the season and comeback with a less intense ep. the beast action was a big letdown i just wanna see in this season two beasts going at each other like crazy and kick both of their asses for a good 1.30 min that will make me really happy vincat now officially broken up and gabe has a crush on cat( god plz help me through this arc)storyline

another great episode and I agree with what others have said - they need to break up with the past and build something new for the future. the dance sequence was to die for......*happy sigh*.....and loving Tess and her expressive face. She says so much with just a twitch of an eyebrow!! Glad to see the sister arc has been resolved - *waves goodbye to Heather*. Now on with the show.....looking forward to seeing how they get this disfunctional pair anywhere near to where they were in S1. *rubs hands in glee* in a way they've done everything backwards - the kiss and sex at the start, now they're not even friends - leaves more space to bring on the slow smolder and puppy dog eyes. excellent. !!!
