But...the teases need to stop. The abrupt ending to that wonderful scene with Cat touching Vincent's face was terrible. WHY, WRITERS...WHY? It killed the wonderful moment they had together....looked like a kiss should have occurred there..instead we get..."Alright, cya"...LOL. It felt like a tease.
BUT at least the writers can go on with it since the BIG excuse is that Vincent is not ready. He "doesn't know how to do this" as he stated. Blame it on the fact that he is has issues. I guess they can afford to tease us some. But at the same time, I am ready for a kiss. It may be a while though.

~MiloCompletely agree with talulah...the characteristics and physicality of a relationship is all so foreign to him at this moment. It will take time. They will eventually get to that point, but it will be very slowly since at this time I don't think Vincent trusts himself due to the blackouts...

I think a hug in the end would be perfect more than "I have to go". I picture this in my head : "he's resting his chin against her breast, she's holding him very close to her heart with a beautiful song and cut..." The "I have to go" was too abrupt and sound strangely. But I still love this scene, especially the part where about the old Vincent's reaction about Cat being with an other guy. I love their honesty, it's really great to see. Don't need a kiss right now, I'm willing to wait for it...

Regarding the last scene:I would have been happy if Vincent had leaned his cheek more into Cat's hand. Maybe we could have had 20 seconds more of him kind of nuzzling her hand against his cheek (does that make sense?). It was too abrupt for me too. I think it's too soon for a kiss though....not yet. We need a little more eye sex

I would've also love him to nuzzle his head in her hand as it would've been such a great contrast of their relationship now to when she stroked his face in the pilot.

As a die-hard Vincent and Catherine shipper that I am, I think they way the writers are portraying their relationship is the right one. They're not in a very normal situation and jumping straight away to a serious relationship is not the right path. I love all those teasing scene and their awkward flirtations moments (specially on Vincent's part) are truly amazing. I want to see them kiss, but these situations are very pleasant to watch. I just love them

What I really like about this show is that people talk about things. I know that in TV, situations have to be expanded and dragged out in order to keep up suspense and leave us wondering. But it gets very tiring when characters are having a spat and you think to yourself, if you'd talked about it like adults, you wouldn't be half so annoying right now! And lo and behold, Vincent and Catherine talk things out a few times during the episode about her and Evan kissing and about where their relationship. I think you have a good point here. At least they talk and move the story along. We are not going around in circles. (At least not yet). The Vincent and Catherine relationship is out in the open even if Vincent is feeling very awkward at times. I love when he says "I know what it feels like" in regards to feeling NOT worthy. At least we know straight up what Vincent's issues are in regards to being hesitant about the relationship. It's not some secret we have to wait forever to find out. ~Milo

I'm a patient shipper so I'm willing to wait for their first kiss because I'm enjoying seeing the journey to them falling endlessly and hopelessly in love with each other! I think my main criticism was that lame voice over of Cat saying "Vincent, I have to go". It just seemed so out of place at that moment and felt like a copout by the writers or something. I would've been thrilled if that scene just ended with the face touching. That would've been enough for me. Cat saying those words felt like a big tease. I just wish the writers would've left it out.

I agree with what everyone is saying about the last scene of Vincent and Cat. She bailed out too fast. And Vincent should have put his cheeks more into her hand. That would have been a lovely move.

Completely agree with you on this! The voice over was absurdly out of place. It actually made me confused to the point of thinking the whole scene had been some sort of dream of Vincent's, since they went from the voice over abruptly to him back on the floor, passed out. The voice over made it sound as if Cat's voice was distant, as they usually do when characters are sleeping/dreaming. It was just wrong. I wonder how something like this even gets approval to air, honestly. This episode was just so beautiful, but unfortunately they managed to mess up the last 60 seconds of it.

I am wondering and just curious: Why is Catherine a cop.
Seems that Cat's father is well to do. Cat went to Princeton University if I am not mistaken and studied law. I thought that was in the pilot.
I am wondering why Cat is a cop.

~Milo Kristin Kreuk has said the following about her character in an interview: "She kind of has her life split in two: which is kind of pre-Mom being assassinated in front of her and post-Mom being assassinated in front of her. She's a very driven woman who has really decided to be a detective in order to take control of everything to make sure that bad stuff doesn't happen anymore, to kind of make sense of the world.. (There are) the good guys and the bad guys, and if you get the bad guys, then everything's OK. She is kind of Type A."

Thanks for the explanation.
That makes sense.
I am surprised that Vincent hasn't said anything about the danger of being a cop. Even though he has been following Cat around for a long time.

The case of the week story has been too weak,...i know it`s supposed to be light procedural cause it`s on CW, but the they need to step up these cases. I can predict who the killer is in only a few minutes,it`s predictable and uninteresting. If they still want to continue w the procedural part,at least please make it intriguing.
