I think V was definitely insecure and shy about everything. Like you said, he'd only been around JT for the past ten years. But I agree with you yolie, during the almost kiss, he definitely knew what he wanted to do and the way he approached Cat in that moment was hot! *fans sel<edited> For lack of a better word, his instincts kicked in and that scene was everything! Yes he knew exactly what he wanted and since then he never turned back (no pun intended)...That scene is my ultimate I don't think that there will ever be another like it...some have come close but no cigar Agreed. I hope we see more of THAT Vincent. He was strong and charismatic; going for what he wanted, without being domineering. I like that side of him. Too bad we don't get too see it too often. Vincent tends to be on the, what did we call it in the 80's?.... A SMOTE!!! LOL

How many times did he want her to leave him and go back to her old life? I just hope we've closed that chapter and the 'normal' chapter. I don't think I could handle another one of those conversations again!

I think he's shown in the last episode that he closed that chapter and the 'normal' chapter...LOL He wants to move forward with her and I've seen how he's taken control of what he wants and when he wants it and has no fear in expressing it either. Um..color metaphore anyone?? Man I can say a lot of that line but I won't

Re-reading some old files and the early title for this episode was "Dog Eat Dog" Iris's two sisters were originally boys, there was a scene where Catherine caught Vincent spying on her outside her bedroom, and Vincent had a much longer and very different confrontation scene with Sam. So glad they changed Vincent spying on Cat getting out of the shower and didn't make Vincent into some kind of a voyeur. Now if only they had changed more of the Alex arc. Wonder what early drafts of those scripts looked like!

Wonder what early drafts of those scripts looked like! I would have loved to have read the original scripts for all the epis! It is my bet that they were much better than what the viewers saw due to editing, directing, etc. I agree that if Vincent had been seen watching Catherine outside her bedroom or coming out of the shower, it would have been creepy. He would have been construed as a 'stalker'; perhaps even a 'pervert'! Obviously, the writers or the director realized this and either re-wrote the scene or edited it out. LOL!!! I did like the way "All In" turned out. It was one of my favorites as I think it was the true start of the VinCat relationship.

Here's some pages from the Studio draft of this episode which you can see changed a lot. Well I thought I could just upload the originals but apparently the files are too big so here's 1 page Attachments:Sam1a.docx (427.58 KB)
